Saturday 23 October 1996 Bakudan Arcade Morning. Sakaki, Kumogi, Rikki, and Sawada—the salarymen collectively known as the Bakudan Boys—were hanging out at their usual spot, the Bakudan Arcade. They had been there since morning, all because something special was happening that they couldn't afford to miss. Sakaki and Sawada, both ZAGE employees, had excitedly informed Kumogi and especially Rikki about a new arcade game they were certain Rikki would love. The four of them were now waiting eagerly inside Bakudan Arcade, even though the shop hadn't officially opened yet. The reason? The owner, Toki, knew them well and let them hang around before hours. The game being installed was called Dead or Alive. The arcade cabinet stood in place, freshly delivered, displaying only its title—nothing flashy or unusual yet, but the anticipation in the air was electric. Toki took a long drag from his cigarette and said, "You brats better pay extra for coming in early." The Bakudan Boys nodded in unison. Kumogi smiled and replied, "Don't worry, Toki-san. We know the drill." Sakaki grinned too. "Boss, you're still stingy—even after getting rich." Before joining ZAGE, Sakaki had worked part-time at Bakudan Arcade during his college days. The place, and Toki himself, were still close to his heart. Toki grinned. "Shut up, you shitty brat Sakaki. Unlike you, I actually know how to manage my money. Look at you—working at ZAGE and still broke as hell because you can't control your spending!" Kumogi, Sawada, and Rikki burst out laughing—because, honestly, it was true. Sakaki shrugged. "What can I say? I'm an avid ZAGE collector. Hehehe... worth every damn yen." Sakaki loved spending his money on two things: video games and ZAGE merchandise. Even though the pay at ZAGE was excellent, he often found himself strapped for cash when it came to daily expenses. But he didn't mind. As far as he was concerned, it was all worth it. Rikki frowned. "Hey Sakaki, Sawada—are you sure this game is for me? Dead or Alive—what is it? Some kind of horror game like House of the Dead? You know I don't really like that stuff, right?" Sakaki grinned and shook his head. "Nah, man, it's not a horror game. Trust me, you're gonna love it. Right, Sawada?" Sawada nodded. "Just wait, Rikki. You're gonna love it." Kumogi, who had no clue what the game was, sighed. "Is it one of those games with a bunch of beautiful girls? Then yeah—Rikki's gonna love it." Sakaki and Sawada chuckled, and Rikki's eyes lit up. "So it's true? This game has beautiful girls!? Let's gooo!" Rikki was already fired up. Not long after, three brand-new Dead or Alive arcade machines were rolled into place. As they powered on, the Bakudan Arcade officially opened for the day. Kumogi and Rikki were the first to jump in. They quickly inserted a 100-yen coin, and the game started. "Ooh, it's another fighting game?" Rikki said with a grin—until his eyes widened and his jaw dropped. As he scrolled through the character select screen, he was stunned. The fighters were hot, stylish, and incredibly sexy. There were so many female characters, each with a unique style and body type. But what really blew him away were the graphics. They were absolutely insane—far ahead of anything ZAGE had produced so far. Even Soulcalibur, which already had cutting-edge visuals, its better than it. There are total 21 Characters in this game. Kasumi , Ayane , Momiji , Nyotengu , Tina Armstrong , Helena Douglas , Christie , Mai Shiranui , Sarah Bryant , Hitomi , Lei fang ,Mila, Lisa Hamilton Brad Wong , Jann Lee , Zack , Gen Fu , Bayman , Rig, Hayate and Ryu Hayabusa! Zaboru brought characters from the latest Dead or Alive of his previous world into this one, introducing them much earlier than originally intended. He wanted these great characters to appear right from the first installment. The game also featured several improvements—for example, the 3D character sprites in the selection screen were incredibly detailed, even more so than in actual gameplay, allowing players to fully appreciate the beauty and design of each character. Kumogi's eyes widened. "Wait—Ryu Hayabusa is here? whats he doing? but Heh, interesting! I want to play as Ryu Hayabusa in 3D!" He eagerly selected the iconic ninja. Meanwhile, Rikki was still glued to the character selection screen. "So beautiful... I don't even know who to pick!" Sawada grinned and nudged him. "Told you you'd love it." Rikki scrolled through every female character, each one more stunning and stylish than the last. "They're all so beautiful and sexy!" he exclaimed. Then, his eyes locked onto one with the most revealing outfit—Mai Shiranui. "Hehehehe... my new wife," Rikki muttered with a dreamy grin. Kumogi sighed. "Just pick already and play, dude." Rikki shook his head, smirking. "Tsk tsk, Kumogi. Your ass is going to get handed to you. But seriously—you really need to stop and appreciate the beauty of these characters!" Then the round began. The game impressed immediately with its responsive mechanics and sharp graphics, but what truly left Kumogi and Rikki speechless was something far more... animated. "Th-they're bouncing... and jiggling!" Rikki stammered, his eyes practically popping out of his head. On-screen, Mai Shiranui—wearing her signature revealing outfit—was in the middle of a fierce fight. As she moved, kicked, and spun, her assets jiggled dramatically with exaggerated physics. It wasn't anything like real-life motion; it was far more exaggerated, clearly intentional and designed to highlight a new breakthrough in 3D fighting game animation. It was the debut of a new, flashy technology—jiggle physics—and it was unlike anything they'd ever seen before in an arcade game. The characters weren't just well-rendered; they moved with an over-the-top style that emphasized flair, personality, and, yes, sex appeal. It was both absurd and captivating, and for a moment, both Kumogi and Rikki forgot they were supposed to be fighting. All they could do was stare at the screen in astonishment. Rikki's eyes widened in exaggerated awe. "This is the greatest technological breakthrough in human history! Jiggle physics!" he declared, laughing as he mashed the buttons, completely immersed in the action. He was having the time of his life, fully enjoying the flashy moves and over-the-top presentation. Beside him, Kumogi controlled Ryu Hayabusa with practiced focus, unleashing swift combos and powerful ninjutsu. "Heh, using Ryu Hayabusa in 3D really hits different," Kumogi said with a satisfied grin, clearly enjoying the novelty of seeing one of his favorite characters rendered so vividly. When the match ended, Rikki—unsurprisingly—came out on top. He was, after all, the best gamer among the four... and without a doubt, also the most perverted. "Told you, Kumogi! Hehehe," he laughed triumphantly. "HEH! This is the best fighting game ever! I want to play again!" Next, Rikki was up against Sakaki. This time, Rikki picked Helena Douglas. He licked his lips and smirked. "Hehehe, she looks like a strict, rich boss who spoils her favorite employee!" Sakaki sighed, rubbing his temples. "Dude, seriously... your fantasies are getting out of hand." Sakaki chose Kasumi as his character, and the match began. Both players got into it quickly, their eyes locked on the screen. Rikki grinned in awe. "Hehehe... it's really something watching two beautiful girls fight." Sawada shook his head while Kumogi sighed. "You seriously need help, bro." It wasn't just about winning or competition anymore—many came just to watch two stunning characters clash on screen.
