[Location: Planet Modeefr: Former Granian Colony.] Planet Modeefr, the former Granian Colony, was an immensely large planet, three times the size of the Earth’s sun. The Planet had a beautiful array of poisonous gases, making the environment present a vast color wheel. Some parts were a blend of lime green and golden yellow, while others were blood red and glazing blue. Due to its vast size, the planet was divided into three sub-colonies, each serving a different purpose. The smallest colony dealt with slave trade and energy core trade, an activity that most species took part in. The second largest colony dealt with the agricultural sector of the planet, allowing the ’farming traders’ to come over and either sell or buy foodstuffs from different planets. The largest colony dealt with trade, mining, and even housed the metropolis which acted as the Colony’s maid control center. This was the place the Granians were going to reconquer. At the moment, Grim, Anya, and Ace were in a small ship that looked similar to the millions of others moving in and out. The main Granian ships were currently a great distance away from the Planet, having their cloaking mechanisms activated in order to make themselves unseen to the naked eye. "How certain are you that we’ll be able to pull this off?" Ace asked, breaking the cold and long silence the three shared in the confined ship. "Don’t you need a large fleet to do that?" "If we went that way, the traders would not want to come here ever again. Also, they’re expecting us to appear. The Ethisians have made life harder for them, so our arrival will be much appreciated." Grim answered, but Ace wasn’t satisfied with the answer. "That did not answer my question, Grim." Her persisted. "How sure are you we’ll be able to pull this off? There’s no certainty that this will work, right?" "There’s one thing you have to understand, human." Grim stoically responded. "Unlike your species, we Granians deal with things stealthily. Sometimes, it may work and other times it doesn’t. We are simply moving to the headquarters and are going for those in charge. Once they hand over the colony back to us, our objective will be complete." "What do you need us for then?" Anya asked, however this time, she was more calm and subtle about her approach towards Grim. "Why can’t you take the others with you." "We’ve already had this discussion before. I do not have to answer your question again. Now, be quiet and await your next orders." After Grim spoke, the cold and long silence returned, making the environment seem more intense. Meanwhile, in Huntress’ ship, the female Granian was chattering left, right, and center about the whole mission and how happy she was that Skyler was with them. This strange and odd behavior made both Cherry and Skyler grow uncomfortable, and yet, they couldn’t do anything about it...even if they so desperately wanted to. "I am glad Lord Grim had accepted for you to come with us, Skyler." Huntress smiled, her eyes glued to Skyler who was clearly annoyed by all the attention she was getting. "Are you not as excited as I am? "No, and you talking to me like that doesn’t make it any better." Skyler said, making sure to avoid making eye contact with the female Granian. Sadly for her, Huntress was persistent and still made sure to stare as much as she wanted at Skyler. "Don’t worry. Once we land, you’ll be as excited as I am. What about you, Cherry? Isn’t your blood pumping from all of this excitement?" Huntress asked, but Cherry remained quiet, staring as long as she could at Huntress. The long silence and Cherry’s frown made Huntress laugh out loud. The female’s immensely odd and strange behavior made the two humans feel highly uncomfortable. "Let me ask you something, Huntress," Cherry finally spoke up. "Why’re you so excited about this? Is this something you do once in a while? Does it bring you pleasure whenever you and your kind conquer other species?" "More than anything in the universe," Huntress answered as if the question itself wasn’t disturbing. The fact that she said so with a smile on her face made the two humans grow weary of the female Granian. She may have been giddy and overexcited, but the two humans weren’t so sure about how truly insane she was. "What makes it even more exciting for me is that I get to do this with Lord Grim himself. It brings me joy whenever I see him in work and once we get back to our homeland, we’ll be united and start a family of strong Granian warriors." "Grim’s your fiancé?" Skyler asked, having never heard Huntress utter such words. ʀᴇᴀᴅ ʟᴀᴛᴇsᴛ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀᴛ 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝·𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖·𝕟𝕖𝕥 "I don’t know what a fiancé is, but I have been chosen to be his mate for as long as he wishes." Huntress smiled, and then turned around, looking away from the humans. Her smile slowly vanished and a look of worry rested on her face. "If I do not make myself a worthy mate for him, there’s the possibility he could kill me and choose another." "Your species are weird." "Says the species that have more than one companion," Huntress spoke back. "I did a little research on the subject of families on your home planet. Most of your kind don’t last more than ten years together after joining together to become mates. And also, your kind mates with as many as they wish. That’s quite weird, don’t you think?" Cherry and Skyler remained silent, having been silenced by Huntress’ clapback. "We are arriving soon. Cherry, you do not have to worry about your body and the planet’s air. Your symbiote will take care of that." Huntress addressed as she controlled the ship they were on. Ahead of them were massively long lines with multiple ships coming in and out of the area. In fact, the entire exterior of the Planet had ships commuting into and out of the Planet, most varying in size and design. To Huntress, this wasn’t anything new since she and the rest of her species were exposed to such events all their lives. The humans, however, were more than astonished and amazed. Ever since studies were conducted about the vast size of outer space, humans always assumed they were the only ones in the entire universe, despite some of the blatant signals out there. It wasn’t until the evasion that those on Earth started to believe in the existence of extra-terrestrial life forms. "Skyler, consume another capsule of Breathing Fluid." Huntress continued. "As soon as we make contact with the Planet’s atmosphere, make your body denser. That gravity will crush your bones to dust if you don’t do as I say." Skyler did as Huntress commanded and partially transformed into her groundhog form. Her bones and muscles became denser, and as soon as they made contact with the Planet’s atmosphere, the changes were becoming more and more evident. For starters, the girl’s head felt heavier, to the point where she was nearly convinced that someone was seated on top of her. Her chest felt heavier and breathing became slightly more difficult for her. To combat this, the girl transformed even deeper, making her body even denser than usual. "We have arrived." Huntress piloted the Ship through the thick, orange clouds of the Planet. For over fifteen minutes, they flew threw the thick layer of clouds until they eventually moved low enough to see the planet’s surface. "Oh my goodness." The land beneath was vast and stretched as far as the humans’ eyes could see. As already mentioned, the poisonous gases created different colors in different areas of the planet. The area Huntress and her team were in had a sulfur-orange hue, making everything look like a vast desert. The ground beneath them was as red as the Planet Mars. The bright orange lakes, rivers, oceans, and what looked like forests made the landscape look even better than Earth. However, even with all the beauty the planet had, none of it compared to the vast civilizations built on its soils. Most of the buildings were so high that they touched the clouds. The rest were small, closely packed, and disorganized, signifying that they were built that way for the traders. "Alright ladies," Huntress grinned while setting the ship to autopilot. She then grabbed her ring blade, consumed another capsule of breathing fluid, and then prepared to jump out. "We’re moving out from here. Stick close." On the Western side of the Planet, One Horn and Jim had landed on the reddish-brown part of the planet. The area was overly populated with all sorts of creatures living their lives. The Granian and Human moved side by side with their weapons drawn, just in case any altercations were to occur. One Horn came equipped with his double-bladed sword. Jim had his hands transformed and ready to slice or drain the life out of anything that dared to attack. "Lord Grim, Huntress. This is One Horn and the human Jim. We have landed and are moving to our designated area." "Huntress here, my Lord. We’re airdropping into our designated spot. Will send communications once we get there." "Very well. Proceed with caution."
