Anya, the former ArkVille High school nurse turned Blood Mutant, was now on Planet Grania with the other three Blood Mutants: Ace, Cherry, and Jim. Ever since she was forcibly turned into one, Anya resented being a Blood Mutant, but not as much as being used as a weapon. Her distaste for the Granians, combined with her extreme rage at her uncalled-for transformation, made her gloomy almost every time, making it hard for even her fellow humans to associate with her. Ace, the person who brought up the method that turned her, regretted doing so and couldn’t forgive himself. He also worried about Anya because she went from the caring, fun, and respectable school nurse to an angry, nonchalant killer with intense rage burning within her. To make things even more worrisome, she was challenged by Lord Grania, who even Grim and Grand Master feared. Like Ace, everyone else exchanged looks with Anya, warning her not to go ahead with Lord Grania’s challenge. Sadly, their warnings fell on deaf ears, for Anya acted as if she didn’t hear those next to her. Her attention was completely focused on Lord Grania, who had a wild, cocky grin on his scaly face. "I’m sure you can hear how they’re telling you not to go ahead with this," Grania said as he took off the large, cloak-like garments on his back. Now that he had no restrictions limiting his movements, the Granian flexed his large muscles as his body somehow bulged and became more defined in terms of mass and muscle. "Seeing how you refuse to listen, I take it that you’re a woman who sets her heart on something to do and does it, correct?" Grania asked, but Anya remained quiet, her mind already calculating how she was going to put Grania down. Upon seeing this, the Granian Emperor nodded and grinned as he spread his legs apart slightly. After taking one breath, his body started to develop a glowing outline of an aura around it. The aura was a light green color, and upon seeing it, Grim and Grand Master stepped back as far as they could. The other humans saw this and did the same, each one not wanting to find out what it could do. "The after-effects of this short battle will destroy my Castle," Grania spoke with an irritating calmness in his voice. "If you do not mind," he continued with a lunge in his step, "I’d like us to take it, OUTSIDE!!!" Without warning, and completely unexpectedly, the Granian’s body sprung from where it once stood and grabbed Anya by the head. With great strength in his arm, Lord Grania sent Anya flying through the large window sills in the room they were in, and her body started to fall towards the thick forest beneath her. Without wasting a second, the woman quickly transformed into her Blood Mutant form and extended as many tendrils as she could to absorb the impact of her fall. The thick Granian tree branches were as firm as brick walls, making Anya painfully bounce off of them. Without warning, she’d find herself banging into another, then onto the next and then the next. The cycle continued for a while until she made it to the ground. Her body ached, her muscles felt tense and sore, and her body forcefully readjusted to the planet’s harsh environment. Having been stuck on a ship for almost more than six years, the woman’s body was finding it quite challenging to readjust to the new temperature, atmosphere, air, gravity, sunlight, and others. Furthermore, she needed to find her way through the forest because she swore she was more than lost. Content orıginally comes from 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡⁂𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢⁂𝘯𝘦𝘵 "These trees...they’re so...tall!" She exclaimed while scanning the colossal trees surrounding her, making a giant forest. The trees were made of a mossy wooden texture with a bronze-orange color for bark. The leaves were a mixed pattern of dark green and wine red, one leaf being half the size of a short man. The forest floor was covered with a pile of dried leaves so thick that Anya wasn’t able to get her footing right. "Crap, crap, crap," she sneered while struggling not to sink into the pile. "I need to get the hell out of..." "Going so soon?" The woman’s body froze as her ears perceived the voice of the Granian emperor. Quickly and swiftly, she threw out three blood spikes behind her, hoping that they’d hit the Granian. To her dismay, there was no one behind her that she could find, and yet she heard them. "Right! He’s in his environment, so he can camouflage and move about swiftly." Anya deduced and decided to transform into her Blood Mutant form since it gave her strength, speed, agility, and dexterity boosts. "Decided to transform, I see." Grania’s voice echoed once more, yet he was nowhere to be seen. "Very well, I see you’re now taking this seriously." From the farthest tree came the Granian floating through the air as if he had wings. Majestically and yet terrifyingly, his large body slammed against Anya, who was caught off guard once more. The two sank eight feet deep into the thick layer of dried leaves. Anya, who didn’t have tough, scaly skin, was forced to create a hardened layer of blood all over her body, unlike Grania, who was scaly all over. "Fight back, blood mutant," he taunted while holding and pressing down on the back of Anya’s head. "You want your freedom, don’t you? So fight back!" "Gladly!!" Three tendrils extended from the female Blood Mutant’s back and wrapped themselves around Grania’s back. Without haste, Anya squeezed them as tight as she could around Grania’s upper chest and neck. The third tendril was wrapped around the Granian’s face as it divided into even smaller tendrils that slowly penetrated Grania’s nostrils. ’Why can’t I drain blood from him?’ she wondered as she repeatedly placed her palms on Grania in hopes of draining blood from him. Alas, all her attempts were in vain, for not even a single drop was extracted. ’Fine, I’ll just go on the inside then!’ "Trying to...suffocate me...huh!" Grania said while releasing Anya, who immediately shot through the leaves. Using tendril extensions, the female Blood Mutant finally escaped from the Granian’s grasp and scouted from a high vantage point. Looking down where she once was, Anya observed as the leaves around were shredded by a light green force. It resembled steam, smoke, and light flames of fire, but for some reason, she did not feel as if they were. The leaves around were shredded and incinerated by the green aura. Following it back to its source, the Blood Mutant learned that it came from Lord Grania himself. The green aura emanated from his body like steam escaping from a hot loaf of freshly baked bread. It seemed so calm and gentle as it swayed with the wind. However, Anya could feel an intense pressure just from looking at it alone. In a sense, it looked calm to the naked eye; peaceful and tranquil, yet dangerously alarming. "Whatever my aura touches," Grania chanted with arms wide open and a grin on his scaly face. "I can sense where it is, its heartbeat, breathing rate, and every movement on its body. This is a skill we Granians possess that makes us unique. It’s also the reason you will not be able to leave." In the eeriest manner possible, Grania slowly turned his sights to Anya, who suddenly felt a choking embrace on her neck. The Blood Mutant’s body reverted to normal on its own as she was lifted from the tree branch onto the ground. This was the same force that Lord Grania used when he levitated Grim and Grand Master. "Earthling," Grania spoke, his face only inches away from Anya, who was choking two feet above him. "The only way to return to your abode is by helping us keep ours safe. Your species are the rare ones that can handle the blood gene and symbiotes without dying." "Let...go...of me!" Anya choked and spat a thick ball of spit on Grania. "I...would rather die...than help you...." "Let us make a deal," Grania released Anya, who fell by his feet. Her neck, red and sore, pulsated as blood rushed back to her vital organs. "Knowing full well the Ethisians, they shall try to attack your planet once we are done with them. Help us erase their species, learn this power so that you will protect your Earth. We will let you go home peacefully, have our peace back, and your kind will become more than capable of protecting themselves from the other beings that plague this vast universe. Does that sound reasonable?" An uncomfortable and awkward silence overshadowed the two beings as they both looked into each other’s eyes. The corners of Lord Grania’s lips were slightly lifted upwards, showing the slight looming smile on his face as his cold eyes stared into Anya’s eyes, devoid of all hope. Would she accept the deal and come to an agreement on Grania’s terms, or would she deny and face whatever other option Grania had to offer? "Glad we could come to an agreement."
