[Granian Mothership.] [Lord Grania’s Quarters.] Once the Blood Mutants, Grim, Helda, One Horn, and the rest of the Granian Army—completed their attack, the Granian Emperor regrouped with a stoic facial expression. The Granian, having already known what was going to happen, headed straight to his quarters and stood still. With his eyes closed and a mischievous smirk on his face, he awaited to be summoned. The Council already notified him through a connection that powerful Eneraflux users had. The one responsible for sending the notification was Zentari, the Council member given the responsibility of watching over the Granians, Ethisians, Persians, and all those who lived within their sector. ɪꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs, ᴘʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴠɪsɪᴛ 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝✶𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮✶𝓷𝓮𝓽 "SUMMON THE GRANIAN EMPEROR LORD GRANIA!!" Lord Grania’s Eneralux aura was transported to the Council Members as his physical body remained behind. This was an ability that only the Council Members authorized, and for one to be eligible enough to be summoned, they first needed to possess a high level of Eneraflux. The Granian Emperor stood in the center of the Council Room. At the moment, nine Council members were present, seated in a circle with Grania in the middle. Surprisingly, Lord Grania stood with a proud and arrogant ego hovering over him. The Granian did not acknowledge the Council members, even though they were the most powerful entities he knew of. Pride overwhelmed his judgment, making him forget that he was standing before the most powerful beings with enough strength to destroy the Granian race if they ever felt like it. His look alone towards the other Council Members showed he wouldn’t bow to any of them. Except for Zentari, the only one that dared to defy the Council just for the sake of the Granians. "Emperor Grania," Xyloxian spoke, his voice echoing with anger and distaste for the Granian’s arrogance. "You stand accused of returning to Earth, a forbidden realm, and kidnapping humans ONCE AGAIN to create Blood Mutants, abominations designed for war. You knew how we ordered against the creation of Blood Mutants before, and you still refused to adhere. If we didn’t take away the ones you had, the entire Galaxy we live in would have been drowned in the blood of the innocents bound to become your victims. Furthermore, you attacked a colony not under your dominion, refusing to rectify the stolen resources. What do you have to say about yourself and your race in your defense?" A still silence remained amongst the Council members as they awaited the Granian’s response. Grania remained quiet for a while, his gaze fixed on Xyloxian while he grinned back. With an air of defiance, the Granian retorted, "The Granians have nothing to apologize for. We conquer, command, and take as we please. We were rising to power; no one rivaled us, and no one dared to take us down from where we stood. That was until all of you decided to concern yourself with our matters as if we asked you to. I shall show no remorse for what we did. We did it, and there is still a lot that we are yet to do." A collective murmur rippled through the council. High Executor Xyloxian’s energy tendrils vibrated with intensity. "Your arrogance blinds you, Lord Grania. The Intergalactic Council has decided. You are to cease your malevolent actions, return what has been taken, and submit to the cosmic balance. The refusal shall be met with dire consequences." Lord Grania, undeterred, declared, "I, Emperor Grania, bow to no council. We shall not comply. The Granians fear no consequences, and as far as I know, despite your power neither of you is bold enough to meddle in the things we do." The words Lord Grania spoke were true. In as much as the Council Members were known for their power, neither of them had the right to personally involve themselves in the affairs of those they governed. If they dared to do so, there was a high chance that the inhabitants they governed over would revolt and rebel against them. The council’s aura intensified, and their decision resonated through the cosmos. "Emperor Grania, your defiance forces our hand. The cosmic harmony must be restored. The Intergalactic Council declares war upon the Granian Empire, but we are not the ones you will be fighting against," Xyloxian smirked back, causing Grania’s heart to sink. Despite his pride, he still knew the consequences that they had to suffer for. Nonetheless, the Granian Emperor was prepared to fight and destroy whatever dared to stand in his way. "You will answer to the Ethisians. They will enact our judgment upon you and we have given them the order to unleash their Mutants on you as well. Surrender now and all of this will be ceased." "Let them send as many of their troops as they can," Grania scoffed, boasting in the strength of the Granians. "We fear no one." As soon as Lord Grania spoke his last words, his Eneraflux aura was returned to his body. War was now upon the Granians, and very soon, they were about to face their enemies, the Ethisians, the creatures responsible for taking their first Blood Mutants. Despite this, Lord Grania wasn’t scared or shaken. He wasn’t afraid of the Ethisians or their Blood Mutants. If anything, he was exhilarated to showcase and remind the Council and the rest of his galaxy’s inhabitants what the Granians are capable of. After all, they were once a feared and powerful race. The crimes he was charged for were unlike anything his forefathers did. "Lord Grania," Grim and Grand Master, who waited by his body the entire session, questioned with a bow. "Has the Council given their verdict? Are we going to war?" "It was already decided by the time I was summoned." Grania smiled back while pounding his chest. From now on, I want those Mutants to receive whatever they need to grow powerful. The Ethisians have been allowed to use their Mutants so we should use ours." "Understood, Lord Grania." [Home to the Ethisians.] "At last. The Council has permitted us to resume our expeditions. The power has been given to us to destroy the Granians once and for all. Awaken the Mutants from their slumber and prepare our troops for War."
