[Congratulations: You have made your first purchase.] [Coagulant Daggers--Inflicts wounds that resist natural healing, causing bleeding effects on opponents. The more blood spilled, the more debilitating the effect. B-class Weapon. Cost: 800,000 Blood Coins.] [Transaction Complete.] [Blood Coins remaining; 4,200,011] ’No wonder I wasn’t granted access the first time’, Ace mumbled, mesmerized by the high prices of the weapons. ’Things are costly in the store. Well, I’m not making any of them so it’s fair, I guess.’ [You have received the Coagulant Dagger Set.] ’Just from buying the weapon alone?’ he asked, mesmerized and pleased at how many experience points he got just for buying a weapon from the Blood Store. Unknown to him, the reason for so many experience points given was due to the weapon’s high class. For instance, if he purchased a C-class weapon, he would have received at least five hundred Experience Points. However, since this was a B-class weapon, it justified the reason why he was granted so many experience points. From his veins glowed a bright pinkish-red color that moved from his elbow, across his forearms, all the way to the palms of his hands. Suddenly, the glowing color manifested into two Crimson Daggers that curved at the tips. The hilts of the daggers were covered in a dark red leather-like substance which made the weapon perfect for gripping. The Daggers, designed in a crimson shade with a black gradient, glinted in Ace’s eyes as he held them in his hands. With short teeth on their edges, the daggers were perfect for fine cuts, just as their description pointed out. [You have received the following effects] [Blood Drain] Level 2 [Strength Boost] +30 points. [Speed Boost] +30 Points. [Agility Boost] +30 Points. [These effects will only last when you’re holding both daggers at the same time. Lose one, and the effects will be halved. Lose both and the effects will vanish.] With the new flow of energy coursing in his body, the Blood Bishop prepared himself to launch an attack on the Ethisians. While Skyler tapped into her arsenal of beast forms, Ace and Cherry decided to use their Blood Abilities alone, maintaining their element of surprise for the time being, only opting to use their Blood Mutant Forms in case something went horribly wrong. [Quest: Kill as Many Ethisians as possible.] [Rewards: EXP and Blood Coins.] "SOLDIERS!!" The Warrior Class Granians echoed their battle cries and prepared themselves and their soldiers to join in battle. "ADVANCE!!! KILL THE ETHISIAN SCUM." [Blood Sprint Skill: Activated.] Running at incredible speeds, thanks to his speed and agility boost, Ace got a head start and initiated the first attack on the first Ethisian that came across his path. The colossal being, holding a blood-stained mace in its hands, raised its hands over its head in an attempt to slam the heavy weapon on the human running towards it. The human, having anticipated such a simple move, leaped a few feet in the air and spun its body repeatedly, generating enough speed and force for it to stick its daggers into the Ethisian’s body. Like a spinning saw blade, Ace’s body spun into the Ethisian’s with his daggers effortlessly piercing and breaking its scales like branches on a tree. Once the scales were penetrated, the Blood Bishop’s daggers inflicted large wounds in its flesh, causing it to bleed out uncontrollably. "Got your back, brother," Cherry came in quickly with her hands transformed into Blood Claws. Once close enough to the Ethisian, she manipulated its blood back into its body, solidified it, and turned it into Blood Spikes, piercing every delicate organ while inflicting horrible pain in the process. While Cherry did so, her brother was already on his way dealing with two Ethisians at the same time. One at his left and another at his right, he calculatedly jumped at the last moment, dodging their spinning mace attacks aimed at his head and lower body. Using his brute strength, the Blood Bishop threw both daggers at either Ethisian’s eyes, blinding them in the process and thus allowing him to perform a sneak attack on them. The Ethisians, in pain and blinded, found themselves falling to the ground while their faces bled uncontrollably. Picking up his daggers, Ace lifted their heads one at a time and slit their throats open, killing them both in an instant. [Ethisians Killed: 2] [+ 10 Strength Stat points earned.] [+10 Speed Points Stats earned.] [+10 Endurance points earned.] The constant speeding, jumping, and thrusting actions. As well as the boosts brought by the two daggers, directly altered Ace’s strength, giving him the same benefits as someone going through intense training sessions. With his newfound strength, the Blood Bishop slowly increased his kill count while his sister, Skyler, and the other Granians also contributed. Without wasting any more time, Ace continued with the attack by going for his twentieth victim, a fully armored Ethisian that carried a large cannon-like gun with a double-bladed sword resting on its back. [Ethisians killed: 19] Fresh chapters posted on 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡•𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢•𝕟𝕖𝕥 The Ethisian, slightly larger and having a darker tint in its scales, seemed to be in a higher rank compared to the others. Unlike the ones he killed during his training simulation, this one seemed more dangerous and experienced in battle, something worth looking out for. [System Scan Skill: Unavailable.] ’What’s wrong with this system?’ Ace sucked his teeth in frustration, angered by how unavailable his skill always turned out to be. ’I thought this issue would get fixed after the update?’ "Human," the Ethisian spoke, its way of speech slightly different than the rest around it. "Stand down now before matters get worse for you and the rest of your team." "I don’t take orders from you!" Ace glared, his eyes glowing red as the bodies behind him started to run dry of all the remaining blood left in them. "You stand down, and then I’ll make sure to kill you quickly and painlessly." "Your cheap threats do not frighten me," The Ethisian replied while dropping its gun, knowing already that it would be useless in its battle against the Human. Having seen the Human in action, the Ethisian knew that it wouldn’t be able to aim at the creature capable of moving faster than it could be shot at. "but if it is a fight you want, it is a fight you will get." [Blood Clone Skill: Activated.] [Clones Created: 15/30] [Blood Mana: 582/4000] [Congratulations: You have unlocked a New Skill.] [Name and Description will be given once you complete your goal.] Standing behind Ace were fifteen Blood Clones, each almost resembling the bodies of the Ethisians he just killed. Those around him gasped in awe and ceased what they were doing as they witnessed the horrendous display of power and skill exhibited by the Blood Bishop. Right before their eyes was a small army of Ethisians made completely out of blood, all created by the Blood Bishop. ’The system was right,’ Ace mumbled to himself. ’The skill doesn’t consume any energy points whatsoever, so it’s completely dependent on my Blood Mana.’ "What sort of sorcery is this?" the Ethisian asked, unaware of Ace’s latent abilities. To it, the only way it could tell what a Blood Mutant was was through its transformation. Yet the Human before it, standing with Blood Clones behind it, didn’t have any weird transformations of sorts. Without giving the Ethisian a response, Ace initiated an attack by sending all his clones at the Ethisian all at once. The overwhelming speed and numbers dazed the Ethisian a little, but not enough to put it down. Thinking quickly, the Ethisian drew out its sword and swung it at the Blood Clones, watching as their heads liquified upon making contact with the sword. [Blood Mana: 500/4000] ’The Mana reduces when they get hit!!’ Ace realized and therefore changed his battle technique. ’Doesn’t matter, all I need is for them to act as a distraction for me.’ With only a thought, Ace commanded his Blood Clones to surround and distract the Ethisian as he looked for an opening to attack. As the others handled the rest, he decided to finish this larger one which, due to its size, he thought was the leader. [Blood Mana: 430/4000] Swinging its blade left and right, the Ethisian managed to ward off the Blood Clones with ease, neither being able to lay a finger on it. The beings didn’t even possess weapons, let alone any specific parts of their bodies that would make them dangerous. The best they could do was punch with their fists, that was if their bodies were hard enough...all depending on Ace. ’How do I grant them weapons?’ he thought and just like that, he watched as the Blood Clones held out their hands and formed Blood Weapons from some of the already spilled blood on the floor. ’I guess that will work too.’ Now that his clones had weapons and were putting up a good fight for the Ethisian, the Blood Bishop was able to sneak to the Ethisian’s blind spot and launch an attack. [Blood Sprint: Activated.] [Blood Control: Activated.] [Blood Fire Skill: Activated.] With his daggers coated in his flames, the Blood Bishop quickly sprinted to the Ethisian, rushing in from its left rear side. With his daggers tightly gripped and flaming hot, he leaped in the air and began spinning in a quick circular motion as he created rings of blood that surrounded and spun along with his body, creating a saw-like action. Upon impact, the speed of the spinning Blood Caws, the flaming daggers, and the Blood Bishop’s overall strength didn’t amount to much, other than it damaging a few scales on the Ethisian’s back. As soon as he saw that his plan failed, Ace’s heart began to beat. Not because of fear, but because of the challenge that was now before him. Right before him was an opponent that, when he’d kill, would grant him a large reward from the system...that was if he won. "I commend you for your effort, Human," the Ethisian scoffed while stretching its hand to its back. "However, you lacked the speed and skill to cause damage to my body." [You’re losing a lot of blood rapidly.]
