Twenty reduced to two. One was injured, and another was not. Their enemy was slightly weaker than before but still had a lot of strength left strictly for fighting to the death. One of its hands was as sharp and as long as a great battle sword, and the other held the head of a dead comrade. The rains poured down heavily and the winds blew strong. They, the Ethisians, were still in total darkness so it was hard for them to see at all. Their enemy could see perfectly in the dark but she too succumbed to the unforgiving weather conditions. Not wanting to burn even more energy to keep her Mutant form sustained, the Mutant reverted to her human form, having nothing but her daggers in her hands. She summoned back her clones as well which spared her enough time and strength. The Ethisians looked on with despair; their strength taken, resolve stripped from them, and hope of victory taken away so quickly. They no longer held onto their weapons for their palms were cleanly chopped from their arms. Bleeding stubs of once large arms was all that was left, hence the reason they no longer had the strength nor will to fight. "Hurry and kill us, Mutant," the one that spoke before spoke again, awaiting a quick and painless death from the Mutant. Unknown to it, the Human wanted to take its time killing this one for it had the audacity and false bravery of being cocky enough to spew such words. "Do it, NOW!!" "A warrior asking to be killed quickly isn’t a warrior at all," she teased while penetrating a tendril inside the head of the other. Now there was only one Ethisian left out of the fallen two hundred. "You fought...sort of well, Ethisian but your time’s up." "Do it quickly." It squinted its eyes hard, gritted its teeth, and breathed its last breath. Fear caused its heart to beat uncontrollably but the death it was waiting for didn’t come just yet. "What are you waiting for?" "Nothing," Cherry smiled, sliding her dagger on the scaly skin of its neck. "This special dagger lets me gut my enemies and allows me to decide whether they should bleed out or should still live." Demonstrating on the Ethisian, she used the active coagulant skills of the daggers and stopped the Ethisian’s bleeding. The alien remained marveled, its mind racing with thoughts of wonder as to why the Mutant hadn’t killed it yet. "Are you toying with me?" it asked. "Hurry up and kill me. You won. You’ve killed all of my comrades so what reason do you have keeping me alive?" "I don’t know yet," she spoke in a condescending tone. "I quite like how you were speaking so bravely not so long ago. Now look at you. You’ve got no fight left, Ethisian. How sad. I think I’ll keep you alive just a little longer and..." The Ethisian sprung on its feet and attempted to pierce Cherry’s body with the horns on its head. The Blood Knight stopped it so easily with nothing but a punch, shattering its hones into broken fragments while also cracking its skull. The behemoth stumbled, its head swelling and bleeding while its senses became blurry. A great dizziness dazed its senses and made it grow woozy. "Oof, didn’t expect my hit to pack quite a punch, huh?" she laughed and then punched the Ethisian again. Landing her fast on its leg, she fractured its bone while latching onto a chunk of its flesh. Slowly, the Blood Knight removed some of its flesh, exposing meat and pieces of its shattered bone. The enemy screamed in pain but its body wasn’t allowed to bleed out, all thanks to the Blood Knight. "End me, quickly," it cried, tears streaming down its face as it begged for its life to end. "I don’t want this torture to endure. END ME ALREADY!!" "Nooo!!" Cherry teased and started shifting the blood in its body. Taking what was flowing in its leg, she clotted all of it until it became a swollen ball of blood cells, puss, and water. The pain was too much for the Ethisian to handle and its strength was too little for it to scream. It instead remained motionless, its stubby arms pressing against the swelling to offer some sort of relief as it winced in great pain. Taking more blood from its already wounded leg, Cherry pushed it toward its pelvis area and used the pressure to crush its pelvic bone slowly. Its legs now turned blue and started to decompose. All of its nerves were too numb to function, taking away pain from its legs and transferring it to its abdominals. "Amazing. Your bodies are quite resilient," she admitted while continuing to play and experiment on the Ethisian. "Humans would have already died from the shock. Granians...well there’s only so many I’ve done this too and they didn’t amount to much but you...you’ve been quite resilient my friend. Good job." "Why," the Ethisian cried in defeat. "Why are you doing this to me? Why haven’t you put me out of my misery yet? Hurry up and me, DAMN IT!!" "He’s right, Cherry," her brother’s voice sounded from the gates as he pranced toward the Ethisian. Looking with horrific eyes, the Ethisian cried even more for there were now two Blood Mutants surrounding it. "you shouldn’t do such horrible things to it, dear sister. It’s unfair that its friends got quick deaths and it didn’t." "Please, Human, "it turned to Ace. Pressing its stubby arms together, it scrunched its eyes together and pleaded for its life to end so it wouldn’t have to endure Cherry’s torture anymore. "end my life quickly. Let me die and join my comrades in the afterlife. Save me from your own kind." "Sure, let me save you," Ace grinned with a rotten idea spawning in his mind. Cherry let him take the lead and watched him place his palm on the Ethisian’s forehead. At first, the Ethisian sighed in relief while waiting for its life to end. However, the pain that once plagued it rose to ungodly levels as its own blood started to boil. The statement "you make my blood boil" did no justice to those who’d use it for they didn’t know what it was like to have their blood boil while they still lived. The Blood Bishop increased the heat levels of the Ethisian’s blood, making its body cook from the inside. Afterward, it ignited the Ethisian’s blood into fire, transferring the range of his Blood Fire skill from working on only him to now working on whoever he wished. "Th...thank...you!!" it gave its thanks and then screamed horribly with its body burning in bright pink flames. "You had quite the adventure, Cherry," Ace took note of the countless bodies lying around. "these are quite many Ethisians. Surprised you’re not out of strength just yet." "I would have fought double easily," she lied with a smile. "I’m guessing you fought more, right?" "Less," Ace sighed. "I wish you took the command post I was assigned to. It had so few Ethisians and they were just too boring." "Too boring? Has killing become a sport for you?" "It has," he answered quickly. "we’re Blood Mutants. Our existence is to kill and consume Blood. That’s what those damned Ethisians keep preaching about all the time so instead of bellyaching, I try to have fun doing it." "You’re sick, Ace Underwood. You know that, right?" "We’re both sick," Ace tilted his head and grinned. His red glowing eyes made his smile more eerie but his sister found it amusing. "that’s what makes you and I different from the others. Having no remorse when killing an Ethisian makes it more fun and much easier. Besides, hearing them beg for their lives to either be spared or taken is fun, don’t you agree?" "Nonsense," he laughed and slapped Cherry’s shoulder. "I watched you smile, laugh, and tease this Ethisian for minutes. You liked doing it, didn’t you?" Cherry blushed and chuckled as she and Ace gathered the bodies in one pile. Admitting to it, she did take note of the similarities she and Ace shared. They both loved milking deaths for as long as they wanted. They both loved killing creatively and if they had the chance, they’d torture their enemies with incredibly harsh methods such as boiling their blood, peeling their flesh off like fruit, and cutting them from limb to limb. "We should fight together more often, you and I," Cherry spoke and set the bodies on fire, creating a large, pink blond flame that burned bright and hot. "There’s a lot you’ve taught me..." "There’s a lot I’ve learned from you too," Ace interrupted. "You’re the first of all of us to create a Blood Clone, remember? That’s why you’re able to make more than I can." They completed their missions, leaving them with only one last Command Post to take over. Following Grim’s lead, they hijacked a vehicle and drove to their destination since it quite far from where they were. Once they got close enough, further instructions were given to them before they began their infiltration. The last siege of the Command Posts.
