Planet Grania, home to the fierce Granian race, remained restless with millions of beings pumping their efforts into the war between them and their enemies, the Ethisians. Due to the scale of the war, the other seven tribes of the entire race were gathered to reinforce their efforts. The tribes were as follows: 1. The Green Claws—these were the Granians that invaded Earth to obtain more human test subjects. These were characterized by their gray scales, green fingernails, toenails, and slits between scales. 2. The Red Claws—identical to the Green Claws, they also had gray scales with red fingernails, toenails, and slits between their scales. 3. The White Claws—unlike the Red and Green Claws, these had slightly slimmer bodies with pearly white scales, slim tails, golden-yellow claws, and blue eyes. 4. The Purple Claws—similar to the Green and Red Claws, they had purple-colored fingernails and toenails. Their bodies were partially larger than the others, with more horns on their heads. 5. The Red Skins—characterized by tough red skin with tiny horny bumps all over, whitish underbellies, rust-red scales, segmented scales, and spikes protruding along their forearms, back, and tails, with fierce golden-black eyes. 6. The Horned Claws—these had the roughest, toughest bodies with heads crowned by large, beautifully grown, groomed horns. Their skin was slightly softer than the others, but they made up for it with immense strength and speed. 7. The Winged/Black Claws—these were the only Granians born with wings and black scales. Those born without wings had unbelievable feats of strength. They had thick and strong black scales, stronger tails, dark gray fingernails, and toenails. Their wings were large enough to initiate flight but also made them easily detectable. This was the tribe Lord Grim originated from. 8. The Giants—these were the only species that refused to breed with the other tribes due to their bias toward keeping their DNA one hundred percent pure. They were as large as the largest Ethisians with longer, bulkier arms, legs, and tails. They were multicolored with different colors of scales, and their heads were more dragon-like, with black, fierce eyes. All of these tribes comprised the Granian race. Despite variations in skin/scale color, they shared similarities in physical appearance and genetic makeup. Each tribe was led by a tribal leader, except for the Green Claws, who an absolute leader led granted the title Lord. All leaders of all tribes were required to possess immense strength and endure annual strength assessments by the other tribal leaders to prove their fitness to lead. The war between the Granians and Ethisians resumed with all these forces working together. The week began with reported cases of the furthest Granian colonies being attacked by the Ethisians. This attack, according to the war strategists, was designed to stretch the Granian forces thin and therefore was deemed unimportant. What was important, however, was a colony located between the Inner and Middle Ring. A planet rich in mineral resources acted as one of the Ethisian’s valuable colonies, so the Granians opted to seize it as their own. For this battle, a fleet of about five hundred Colony War Ships, designed to carry large numbers of individuals, each carrying two thousand units, was prepared. The ships were equipped with metal-piercing turrets, with each ship having at least twenty on the top, sides, and bottom. For extra reinforcements, the Granians equipped each of their soldiers with high-grade armor and Mechanized Military Grade Machines designed solely for war. Leading this attack was Lord Grim and the tribal leader of the Red Claws, Gravax. Accompanying them was Ace, who, after considerable voting time, was chosen to exhibit his Blood Abilities. Since Lord Grim, Lord Grania, and all the higher-ups of the Green Claw witnessed his abilities, they all voted that he’d be sent on the trip, not just to show his power to Gravax but also to send a message to the Ethisians. The other Blood Mutants were still under training, each one having been assigned a tribal leader whose duty was to assess their strengths and weaknesses so that they would be placed accordingly. The Granian fleet was only a few minutes away from touching down on the planet. At that time, the Ethisians had already begun preparing themselves for battle, although there wasn’t enough time for that. By the time the Ethisians thought of making preparations, the Granians had already begun their attack consisting of a series of heavy air attacks. First, the Ethisian barracks were destroyed, followed by their bastions. Once the Ethisian facilities were destroyed, the foot soldiers were on standby as the Blood Bishop took the opportunity to be the first to step foot on the colony. [Your symbiote has restructured your body systems.] As soon as the boarding ramp was lowered, Ace treaded on the black, rocky, cold surface of the planet. The planet was desolate, with almost no plant or animal life for miles. All around him were nothing but large mines, mining equipment, and machines with thousands of slave workers hiding in fear of losing their lives. Ahead of him were hundreds of Ethisian barracks and bastions, most already engulfed by flames thanks to the Granian attacks. Once he was done with his explanation, Ace vanished in the blink of an eye, leaving behind a thick cloud of black dust. The Blood Mutant then made a stop at the ruins of wrecked Ethisian facilities. All around him were disfigured bodies caught in the crossfires. Some were long gone, while an unlucky few still lived, although there was no saving them. Ahead of the Blood Bishop were the rest of the Ethisians preparing to attack, having already separated themselves into groups. Ace remained quiet, his eyes scanning the area for the number of bodies available. They weren’t enough for what he wanted to do, but their numbers would suffice. After all, this was a trial test to see just how incredible this new skill of his was. "Blood Magic; Blood Revenant," he spoke, and his body glowed with Blood Mana rushing to his body and the dead bodies around him. His eyes burst forth with red energy, lighting up every drop of spilled Ethisian blood. Cutting his palm, the Blood Bishop initiated a ritual between himself and the dead Ethisians, bringing them back to life.
