’It...it can’t...be. How?’ Enor, whose body was previously falling with great precision, found himself suspended in the air by a cluster of Blood Tendrils with his club grasped under the mighty grip of the Blood Mutant. The Ethisian was dumbstruck, his thoughts left to wonder at how the Blood Mutant was able to recover so quickly after taking such amounts of damage. At first, the Ethisian thought he had the upper hand and felt as though he were dominating. He made sure to give it all he had and attacked his enemy with every fiber in his body. He thought he was winning, he thought he was weakening his enemy, he thought he was going to kill it for good. But now, he was the one going to face its wrath for the Blood Mutant had uttered the words "It’s now our turn to attack." With one hand holding the club and tendrils elevating Enor up in the air, the other started to enlarge with volumes of blood coagulating and turning into a massive, jagged Blood Blade fused to the Mutant’s arm. The Blood Blade was as large as the Blood Mutant’s upper body, its tip sharp enough to cut through steel. It didn’t have a uniform shape since its sides had holes but its edge was thinly formed, allowing it to have more precise cuts. *ROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR* The Blood Mutant roared as its tendrils swung Enor’s body as if it were nothing but a rag doll. The Ethisian, cast to the side like a piece of trash, faced the same torture he put the Blood Mutant through; his body skipping and skidding along the ground. Unlike the Blood Mutant, who had quick regeneration, Enor had taken quite some damage with a small portion of his scales chipping off his body. While still skidding, the Blood Mutant leaped along with the sides its Blood Blade whacking Enor around like a baseball. Still willing to fight, Enor clenched his fingers into the ground and slowed his body down long enough to regain his footing. As soon as he did, he reclaimed his club and stood firm while the Blood Mutant lunged at him. Though wounded, the Ethisian wasn’t weakened in any way but rather enraged. His mind was toyed with and because of that, he wasn’t about to let the Mutant walk away without facing the same trickery. "I’ll kill you from where you stand, Human." "I’d like to see you try!!" the Blood Mutant yelled as it swung its sword at Enor. The Ethisian, gripping his club tight, met the weapon halfway and deflected it with his. Then, without hesitation, he went for another strike to the Mutant’s chest and connected. Once again, the force was incredible but it just wasn’t enough to send the Mutant skidding and skipping again. It did, however... ’It’s bones!!’ Enor’s eyes widened as his ears picked up the sound of the Human’s bones cracking. ’They can break. I was right. They aren’t invincible as we were led to believe!!’ Now that he had noticed a slight weakness, Enor adapted to make his attacks more lethal. With speed and strength on his side, the Ethisian ran circles around the Mutant who reciprocated. The two ran around each other while occasionally clashing their club and Blade at each other. Soon, the two went toe-to-toe with each other with Enor slowly getting the upper hand and holding it. Since he was larger and used to severe forms of training, and given that he had more battle experience, the Ethisian began to overpower and overwhelm the Human, pushing it to activate its Blood Abilities. "You’re not taking my blood. Not today!!" Enor shouted once more, his body maximizing the output of Eneraflux. Now at full strength, the Ethisian swung its club at the Blood Mutant’s arm, shattering its blood in the process. Again, the Ethisian swung its club at the Human’s back, lifting its entire body into the air before kicking it towards the female. The High Grades, like Enor, had battle experience on their side, giving them the upper hand they needed. Similar to Enor, they maximized their Eneraflux output, giving them massive bursts of strength which enabled them to overpower and overwhelm the female Blood Mutant. ’We’re doing it!!’ Enor grinned with pride and became slightly overjoyed. He and his High Grades, despite the odds, had managed to give it their all and weakened the Blood Mutants. Now all they had to do was... With his club raised over his head again, Enor slammed it into the male Blood Mutant’s chest repeatedly until it started to break its ribcage. The Human’s resilience and durability began to fail and the possibility of death came knocking at its door. "Wait!!" the male Blood Mutant shouted, its chest throbbing as it choked on its own blood. The female, who was also on the verge of death, pleaded with the High Grades who were ruthless and relentless with their attacks. "We yield!! We yield!!" "Your mind games will not work on me again, Human!!" Enor groaned with rage while preparing to swing his club again. "I’m not trying to trick you!!" the Human pleaded again, this time making sure to do so while retaining its Human form. "I yield. Don’t kill us, don’t kill her. I beg of you!!" The High Grades, looking over at Enor, waited for his response while keeping their weapons on the female Blood Mutant’s body just in case she tried any stunts. "We’ll do whatever you ask of us. Don’t kill us. Please!!" The High Ruler scoffed and stomped on the Human’s chest while angrily spewing his hatred toward the enemy. His eyes burned with rage as his thoughts ran back to the millions of Ethisians and allied species who were slaughtered at the hands of these two Humans who had the audacity to beg for his mercy. Seeing them lay down before him helplessly was joyful, but it still wasn’t enough. The Ethisian wanted to see the Humans face the same wrath they had inflicted on his people. "We’ll do as you ask. We’ll fight for you. Please, spare us," the female pleaded and tried her best to persuade and convince the High Ruler. "The Granians made us kill your people. We did it to spare our people. They forced us to fight for them otherwise they’d destroy our planet." "We earthlings can’t defend ourselves against any species in this galaxy, let alone the Granians," the male continued, his words slowly driving Enor toward empathy. "Let us live and we’ll fight for you. In return, you’ll keep Earth safe from the Granians. Please, we beg you."
