Shortly after Ace, Jim, and the Granian soldiers led by Lord Gravax raided and settled in the dwarf planet, the two Humans waited patiently as their comrades were set to arrive in a few short hours. As soon as they arrived, the Blood Bishop quickly separated himself from Jim while heading to meet his sister. Upon arrival, Cherry was greeted by a coy smile on Ace’s face, one that he always wore whenever there was something he wanted from her, to show her, to give her, or scare her with. This often happened whenever the boy would find interesting creatures or weird objects he knew would scare or freak the girl out so seeing it on his face again, after a long while, was refreshing but at the same time worrying and concerning. "I should be happy that you’re wearing that look again," she spoke while keeping her distance, "but I’m not too sure whether I can give you want you want from me or..." "No no no," he interrupted quickly while Anya, who had gotten better, and Skyler went to meet up with Jim who told them all about what he and Ace did. "It’s not about what you can give me but what I can give to you. Remember when I said I can turn you into a Blood Bishop? Well the offer still stands and I know that you’ll just love being a Blood Bishop the same way I do." Cherry’s face turned into one of disgust as she continued to take a few steps further away from her brother. Seeing this, Ace felt a little bit discouraged at first, almost as though his proposal wasn’t welcomed. ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ 𝗇𝗈𝗏𝖾𝗅✦𝖿𝗂𝗋𝖾✦𝗇𝖾𝗍 "Ace," concerned, Cherry mastered the courage and spoke her worries to her brother saying, "I’m not too psyched about becoming a Blood Bishop as much as you think" "Why not?" he asked, hoping for a genuine answer unlike the last time. "Is it the conjured clones that tick you off? I can show you something completely different if that’s what you want. Trust me, you’ll enjoy it as much as I do, or even more... "I’m not too psyched because of what it has done to you," Cherry interrupted quickly, "I don’t like what this Blood Bishop rank has done to you. At first, it was impressive and dare I say something to be envious about but then...you....started to change." "How?" Clearly, Ace didn’t want to hear these words. In fact, he expected quite the opposite reaction from his sister concerning becoming a Blood Bishop. In all honesty, the Blood Bishop wasn’t interested in making Cherry exactly like him. He wanted both of them to grow as strong, or even stronger, than the Ethisians’ Blood Mutants so that he wouldn’t have to worry about them harming him or her. Hearing this, however, rubbed him the wrong way and it kept getting worse. "How exactly have I started to change?" "You used to be calm and collected, always thinking things through. You’d never jump into a fight without gauging your enemy and you weren’t that ominous or frightening. You never gave off this dark and evil energy that always seems to be around you. It’s like...you’re slowly losing yourself to this Blood Bishop thing." While speaking, Cherry began to choke on her words as her body reacted negatively to the dark energy she just spoke of. The Blood Knight looked at her brother who began to radiate with dark energy coursing through his veins. "That’s...it..." Cherry answered fearfully, her hands holding her throat. She felt as though someone was trying to choke her yet unknown to her, her brother was indirectly, and not purposefully, manipulating the Blood Essence surrounding him. "That....is...what I....was talking....about..." After cancelling his dark energy flow, the Blood Bishop stood over his sister with a look of disappointment evidently growing on him. the Blood Knight coughed while daring not to stare too long for she felt as though the man standing before her wasn’t her brother. ’You’re no longer the soft spoken, gentle Ace that I grew up with." She complained angrily but also made sure not to utter any stupid word in fear of losing her life. "You’re losing your sense of Humanity the more you use that power...." "So I’m guessing you haven’t, have you?" he fired back his own questions while leaning over the woman. "In case you and the others have forgotten, we aren’t exactly on the same terms with the Granians. These things kidnapped us from Earth, remember? We are far from any other Human to relate with. I am far from any other Human to relate with apart from you, my sister. The only person I have left, the only person I care about more than anything else, the only person I’d fight for to the death. "If I may recall, Cherry, wasn’t it you who told me that I’m too soft? Wasn’t it you, along with Grim and the others, who said that I’m too reliant when it comes to fighting?" "What are you talking abo...." "The only reason I have gotten this strong is because I’m taking a leaf out of your book," Ace grabbed the Blood Knight by the shoulders and looked her straight in the eyes while reminding her of how she was once like him. "Remember how you were on Earth? Remember how you were feared by the Granians? Remember how much more frightened they were of you than of me? Remember how even Grim told me to act more like you? So why is it that when I do, you suddenly don’t like it? And why is it that you of all people is passing up the opportunity to grow stronger?" "Opportunity to grow stronger? Or opportunity to turn into whatever or whomever you’re sourcing that energy from?" Ace went silent and the situation between the blood siblings grew intense. However, the Blood Bishop wasn’t going to take no for an answer. Instead of listening to his sister’s concerns, he let his own fears take over; fears of being the only one strong enough to defend himself from the Ethisians’ Humans, fear of losing his sister yet he had the power to make her strong enough to protect herself. "I don’t know what has happened to all of us but of late, you lot have become too comfortable with these Granians," Ace barked while raising his hands slowly. The same red energy returned, followed by his energy spiking to a new level. "Jim, Anya, and Skyler may have forgotten but I will not continue living knowing that my sister’s allowing herself to get comfortable with the same people that’ll kill her when this War’s over..." "You’re projecting, Ace. The Granian’s won’t..." The Blood Bishop grabbed the Blood Knight by her shoulders again and asked, "Do you really think the Granians will let you live once the War’s over? Do you really think we’ll be treated the same way the Ethisians treat their Humans?" Cherry, though scared, began to see where her brother’s concerns were coming from but she still wasn’t compliant with Ace’s wishes. The Blood Bishop did make a compelling point but the Blood Knight felt that there was a way for her to grow stronger without turning into her brother. "It’s time we settle this," Ace let Cherry go and then lifted his hand towards her. "You’re becoming a Blood Bishop whether you want to or not." "You’ll have to beat me to a bloody pulp first before I become what you are." Cherry challenged her brother and immediately transformed, even though she knew the strength difference between the two of them. "So be it, Cherry," Ace answered and transformed as well. However, he wasn’t going to beat his sister to a pulp as she said but rather chose to pin her into submission. "One way or another, you’re becoming a Blood Bishop."
