The Grand Duke’s command echoed across the massive Colosseum, the sheer size of the arena making his voice seem even more imposing. Cherry, standing alone on the battlefield, narrowed her eyes as the beast loomed before her; its massive, scaly body casting an enormous shadow over the sand. The creature raised its large, ugly head while the flaps latching onto its head and neck began to rise. The flaps took the shape of a beautiful, meat flower with the beast’s head being the centerpiece. With the head raised, the beast puffed its chest and began generating a guttural roar from within. Slowly, a strong burst of energy began to conjure from within and that was when the Grand Duke ushered a warning to Cherry. If she didn’t move to safety quickly, her flesh was certainly going to rip off her body. "SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN DO, CHERRY OF EARTH." Taking the warning at heart, Cherry turned her legs and arms into their Blood Mutant forms, giving her a speed and strength boost. As soon as she did that, the beast began to shake its head from side to side, generating a great deal of wind which lifted dust and sand in the process. This was a tactic it liked to use on its prey, a way for it to confuse and disorientate them before crushing them quickly. Seeing this caused Cherry to turn her eyes as well while creating a small visor and mask made entirely out of blood. The Cyclitharans who watched this were left in awe, all mesmerized by the Human’s actions. Its quick thinking and high adaptive capabilities were nothing short of astounding, an aspect it possessed that left the Cyclitharans impressed and envious. ’Just like the worms. I’ll have to move fast and kill it from the inside.’ In one step, the Crimson Knight lunged herself from where she stood and glided swiftly through the field of bones and dust. Her speed was unlike anything the Cyclitharans had ever seen in a small-sized creature such as herself. It was so fast, quick, and agile that not even Cherry could believe it. Of course, because she hadn’t moved that fast before, her body wasn’t prepared for how much energy she put out and couldn’t balance itself properly. This sudden burst of speed caused the Crimson Knight to stumble and fall at the beast’s feet. "Oh," Atris wondered, his curiosity heightened even more but with disappointment accompanying him. "Is she... supposed to do that?" Getting up again, Cherry quickly moved aside and dodged getting stomped on. For a creature of its stature, the beast was frighteningly fast. This presented a problem for the Crimson Knight whose speed rivaled that of the beast but couldn’t control it yet. ’How does Ace have this much speed but manage to stay stable?’ she wondered while darting from one foot to another. Looking up, the beast lowered its bottom jaws and prepared to roar. At that moment, the sand started to shake again as the magnitude of the creature’s voice conjured from deep within. Just as the beast was about to open its mouth, Cherry formed two large blood spears which she threw directly into the creature’s eye. She didn’t intend to harm it but to rather get its attention focused on something esle...and it worked. As soon as the spear poked the creature’s eye, it closed its flaps and lowered its head. Its eyes angrily scanned the sand in search of the tiny creature that interrupted it. It was nowhere to be seen. Sneakily, Cherry ran underneath the beast’s underbelly and began executing her plan. It began with her transforming into her Blood Mutant form but something was different. Instead of having a misshapen, grotesque Blood Mutant form, the young woman’s new form was tame without any wild or horrific features. The wide jaws and jagged teeth were kicked out for a more civil and feminine head shape with softer crescent-shaped eyes. Her body now had a more feminine figure while keeping its muscular frame, although the muscles weren’t as rough and jagged as they were before. Her fingers were also smoother with shorter and thicker claws. This new form was superior to the others in terms of speed, strength, and agility. With a smoother red surface, the Crimson Knight was able to run quickly and speedily without much hindrance. If only she could control the speed. "Incredible," she said while running slightly slower than when she did the first time. As soon as she opened her mouth, she couldn’t help but notice how smoother her words were. Compared to her Blood Knight form, her Crimson Knight form’s vocal cords were more defined, making speaking so much easier for her. "I wonder what this new form can do." "Do you see her?" from where he sat, the Grand Duke was having a difficult time spotting the Crimson Knight. Unknown to him and the rest of the spectators, the Crimson Knight was directly under the creature’s underbelly, more specifically its nether regions. It being a large reptilian creature meant that its entire body was covered in scales, everywhere except its private areas. While the creature’s focus was on something else, the Crimson Knight stood directly under the creature’s privates with her eyes looking directly at its sheath. Next to it were two dangling flaps of jewels swaying in the wind; a perfect location to execute a next-to-lethal attack. It was now time for the Crimson Knight to see what she could do with this new power in terms of blood techniques and skills. With it already having a more majestic aesthetic, she expected a much more pool in terms of blood skills, abilities, techniques, and strength and now was the perfect time to test it out on a powerful being. Slowly, the weight of the "invincible force" started to increase, forcing the Crimson Knight to exert more strength. To the naked eye, they’d think that Cherry was wasting time. In fact, they’d think she was sort of praying to the creature to let it drop its load on her but to the trained eye, she was about to perform a feat she had never performed. Collecting the largest amount of blood she had ever done.
