While the beast dealt with the blood clones running around aimlessly, the Crimson Knight boomed from the back with her hand held out. Quickly, her veins bulged, popped, and squirted a considerable amount of blood which she conjured into a sword. The sword was double-edged, its tip hardened to the best of Cherry’s abilities. With one mighty leap, the Crimson Knight jumped and swung and the unexpected happened. With each swing, a flush of blood ripples escaped from the sword and sliced the creature’s body. These ripples were shaped like long crescents and were extremely sharp and with each swing, the ripples cut deep into the beast’s undercarriage and remained lodged in there. By the time the beast noticed, over twelve ripples were lodged deep in its flesh. Just then, the Crimson Knight got close enough to strike. Shifting her weight around, Cherry began to spin with sharp and hardened blood tendrils wrapped around her body. Her sword, made from her blood, intensified in color, then brightness, until it eventually lit up in flames. The beast attempted to shield itself with its tail, a mistake that it came to dread afterward. At the speed the Crimson Knight was moving, she easily sliced through the beast’s tail and pierced deep into its undercarriage. The intense pink flames of her sharpened sword cut through the creature’s flesh like butter and her tendrils did well to keep her latched onto the beast like a pest. At the same time, the blood spikes scattered all over the field flung and flew at the beast with much speed. Meanwhile, the previous Blood Spikes the Crimson Knight planted shot from the ground and pierced into the beast’s body. Once they did, they spun circularly and shredded deeper into its body. The longer the spikes spun, the deeper they pierced into the creature, and as a result, the more blood they drew out. The beast cried in pain, its attempts at freeing itself next to futile. The more it tried to fight, the more blood it lost and the more energy it trained. Meanwhile, the Crimson Knight cut deep enough into the beast’s insides. She cut through its reproductive organs and then made her way into its excretory system. The creature tried shaking Cherry out of it but the Crimson Knight came prepared. Thanks to her increased Blood Strength, she manipulated all the beast’s drawn blood into long, thick ropes that bound the beast to the ground. Rather than resting on top of the beast, the blood ropes pierced into the creature’s flesh and then coagulated into heavyweights, weighing the beast to the ground. With an excessive loss of blood and energy, the mighty beast fell to its knees, its body slipping and falling in its own blood while pain became the only feeling it came to know. The beast started to cough and vomit large amounts of blood while it wailed its last wails. Defeated, weak, and faint from loss of blood, the creature cried slowly until its voice died down. The once loud, powerful creature was reduced to a corpse, a shell of its former glory. In a few minutes, the Crimson Knight appeared from the beast’s spine covered in blood and other body fluids. She was exhausted and drained but most importantly, victorious. She had singlehandedly fought and killed a creature hundreds of times her own size, all with her strength without involving anyone else. She was happy, excited, and proud of her new skills. Even though she initially didn’t want to be ranked up, Cherry was glad that she was forcefully turned. If she was still a Blood Knight and was told to perform the same task, she would have most likely failed, or even worse... "I....I did...I did it..." dripping with blood falling from her hair, Cherry remained in the creature’s spine while reverting to her human form. She grinned exhaustedly from ear to ear while returning her blood sword to her body. "I didn’t think it would be possible but I’ve slain a large beast. Not even Ace was able to fight his first large beast alone without help from anyone else." Feeling full of herself, Cherry raised one hand and attempted to perform a move she hoped to perform one day. "What was it he always says? Blood Esos? Blood entrance? No no...Blood Essence, manifest!!!" What Cherry hoped she’d do was conjure the beast into a Blood Beast. What she didn’t know, sadly, was that only Hemomancers could perform such a feat. After trying it over and over again, Cherry eventually gave up and crawled down from the beast. Even though she couldn’t conjure the beast, she had the strength to wrestle with another of the same size and ferociousness. "She did it!!" the Grand Duke and the rest of the Cyclitharan officials and soldiers that were around looked at the Crimson Knight in amazement. She had done it. This pinkish-white fleshed binocular visioned creature had singlehandedly killed one of their strongest gladiator beasts. All done with nothing but Blood Manipulation abilities. "Incredible!!" the Grand Duke commented, his eyes wide open in utter disbelief, shock, and pure amazement. "This is...INCREDIBLE!! THIS POWER. IT IS UNLIKE ANYTHING I HAVE EVER THOUGHT OF. TELL ME, HOW DID YOU DISCOVER IT? HOW DID YOU COME TO LEARN OF THIS POWER?" "Why do you ask? Does it excite you?" Lilly jokingly questioned and the Cyclitharan answered saying; "I want to have this power for myself, Granian. I also want to become a Blood Mutant." Grim, Lord Gravax, Lilly, and even Cherry who was close by, remained silent as the Grand Duke went on and on about how he wished to become a Blood Mutant. Despite seeing the thrashing Cherry faced, the being wished to have the same power. For what reason, they didn’t know, but they were not going to give up that power that easily. ’Even if we knew how to give it to whoever we pleased, such a skill wouldn’t be given to the likes of you.’ "I have seen all I need," the Grand Duke declared ecstaticly with his hands raised. He then looked at the Granians, then the human, then the Granians again while saying, "I have a new offer for you. Full involvement of my armies, colonies, and resources in exchange for that power. You can keep all the Ethisian’s land and whatnot. "All I ask in exchange for my full support and involvement in this War is to have the same power. Go back to your higher-ups. Speak to Lord Grania on my behalf and inquire for me. Take what I have given you and more will be waiting once I get what I ask of you."
