After a vicious encounter with the dangerous, venomous beasts came to an end, the two High Grades, Commander and Elenor, opted to handle the situation more viciously. Their first encounter was an unexpected ambush from the beasts’ side. With the way it played out, they couldn’t risk losing any more of their soldiers or Yrrejite Mech Pilots. So instead of continuing to scout the forest on their own, Commander and Elenor ordered ships to perform a hunting sweep. This involved having ships move side-by-side while firing heavy rounds aimed at incapacitating specific targets. In less than thirty minutes, about ten large attack ships aligned close to each other with highly trained pilots flying them. Each ship had ten turrets mounted on them. Two on each wing—both left and right—two on the back—both left and right—and two on top of the ship in case of aerial attacks. The ships aligned with each other and with the two High Grades standing on top of them, they began tearing that specific portion of the forest apart. Five ships deployed blue flames which incinerated the trees almost immediately. The other five ships pinpointed and marked which beasts were old enough to get milked and which ones weren’t. Once they did so, larger Mechs were deployed to subdue and hold down the beasts until the harvesting was complete. This method, though brutal and unconventional, was the quickest way the Ethisians and Yrrejites could complete their mark. If they took any longer, there was a possibility of an attack from their enemies the Granians. "We’ve captured about...three hundred beasts...." The Yrrejite scientist, thankfully revived and brought back to consciousness, reported to the High Grades while the larger Mech Pilots incapacitated the beasts to milk them of their venom. "...this method’s easier on us and on them. The beasts don’t have to lose their glands and we don’t have to kill all of them in the process." "Will this amount suffice?" Commander asked because that was all he cared about; getting exactly what they needed. "I don’t think three hundred beasts possess enough venom to wipe out the Granian army." The Yrrejite directed the High Grades’ attention to one beast that was being milked. Like a snake, its fangs were pierced into large containers where all the venom was sucked into. The container was as large as four trailer containers stacked on top of each other. Once the container was filled, three more were used to contain all the venom from just one single beast. "One beast produces enough venom to kill half a low-level civilization’s population," the Yrrejite elaborated, hoping that it would answer Commander’s question. "Their venom count varies but most average four to six containers. "We only need a small vile," she explained while holding a vile no larger than an Ethisian’s pinkie finger, "to kill a Granian. So this venom is more than enough. To further settle your worries, it is possible for us to synthesize and mass produce a solid and gaseous form for this toxin. "That way, we can either gas them or make weapons made entirely out of venom rather than just tipping them." Elenor and Commander, pleased with this news, patiently waited until the last beast was milked. Once the task was completed, restorations to the forest were made where they could before the Ethisians and Yrrejites left. With their mission complete, Commander and Elenor returned to Planet Edenia with all smiles while the Yrrejite scientist began the synthesizing process. Things were going according to plan and at this rate, it was only a matter of time until the War fully broke out. With these preparations being made, one thought plagued Commander’s mind and that was concerning the Blood Bishop, the one who killed his colleague Enoris. Orıginal content can be found at 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵·𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮·𝓷𝓮𝓽 The thoughts about the Blood Bishop frightened Commander more than he wanted to admit. Whenever his memory centered itself around Ace, he’d only remember how weak, powerless, defenseless, and useless he was against him. He couldn’t do anything to the Blood Bishop nor could he do anything to protect Enoris. To make matters worse, the Ethisian feared that one day he was going to have to battle her—not as a jousting partner but as an enemy. ’I pray our Mutants will come to our aid before we’re beaten to submission.’ He thought inwardly while remembering what their Mutants said. If they were only going to step in when the Ethisians were pushed to near defeat, would they be able to handle the Granians and their Blood Mutants on their own? ’I pray to the gods it doesn’t come to that.’ The much-anticipated arrival of the High Grades and their fleet came at last. The Higher-ups, allied leaders, and rulers celebrated as the Yrrejite Mech Pilots rolled the containers filled to the brim with highly potent and immensely dangerous cytotoxins. Those who knew what it was celebrated and breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of this multitude amount of death juice. Those who didn’t were left to wonder in confusion. Meanwhile, the Higher-ups quickly congratulated the High Grades and Yrrejites for their efforts but that wasn’t all. As stated, the Higher-ups were excited and anticipated the return of the High Grades; not just because of the toxins they were bringing but also because of another important factor that was going to tip the war in their favor. "Commander, Elenor," High Ruler Enor approached the two Ethisians along with the Yrrejite, Soxan, and Haisojan rulers. "I welcome you from your venture. You have done us proud by delivering more than we expected." "We have exciting news to present to you," the Haisojan ruler spoke, being the only one whose species was going to fight along with the Ethisians. "We took note of your account concerning the Blood Mutants and along with my people and the intelligent minds of the Yrrejites, we have conjured something that will excite both of you." Commander and Elenor glanced at each other while their rulers led them inside the Council Chambers. As soon as they entered, they were met by two pairs of glowing eyes; one Ethisian and another Haisojan. These two species differed from the normal Ethisians/Haisojans for two reasons. The first was their body size. The Haisojan was the same size as the Ethisian, a sight that was confusing and slightly infuriating since the normal Haisojans were two feet shorter than the Ethisians. The second difference was their skin color. These two beings were a more desaturated, faded color. Their bodies were tighter and more rugged. Their skin was drier, rougher, and tougher and their eyes were bright yellow. "We present to you the Unblooded."
