[A few days prior to the attack on the Ethisian Colonies] The deal was made and settled. The Cyclitharans and Granians, at long last, formed an alliance with each other. The two species had a common goal that drove them to work together and that was to see the downfall of the Ethisian Empire. While the Granians wished to run the Ethisians into extinction, the Cyclitharans only wanted them gone so that they could expand their areas of influence and control. If it weren’t for the fact that the Ethisians restricted them from colonizing more species, the Cyclitharans would have done so already and therefore had no need for allying with the Granians. Now to the main area of importance. Lord Gravax, Grim, and the newly turned Crimson Knight returned to the dwarf planet where they were welcomed warmly. As soon as Gravax’s ship touched the ground, the Granian ran quickly to inform Lord Grania and the Council Members. In full detail, the Granian reported what had happened and how the alliance was formed. With a smile on his face, Gravax bragged about his accomplishments while highlighting his achievements. As he did so, Lord Grania, the Council Members, and even Tribal Leaders nodded in approval of Gravax. The happiest of them all was Lord Grania who immediately began plotting what was going to happen next. The Granian Lord planned and thought through every step he, his army, and his allies were going to take shortly. "Well done, Gravax," Lord Grania interrupted Gravax in the middle of his explanation. "You have done your people and your tribe very well. But now isn’t the time for us to gloat and nod in agreement with your accomplishments." The Granian Lord clapped twice and everyone in his presence began to shift into their respective hierarchies. The Council Members sat among themselves and on the other side sat the Tribal Leaders with Lord Grania, Lord Gravax, Grim, Helda, One Horn, and Grand Master in the middle. It was now time for them to plan. "With the Cyclitharan forces, we now have more than enough numbers to overwhelm and overtake the Ethisian Bastion Colonies protecting their Outer Ring." Lord Grania began pitching plans, ideas, and strategies with a holographic presentation of the Ethisian half of the galaxy placed before him. "One at a time, we can quickly overwhelm, slaughter, and destroy each remnant faster than they’ll be able to retaliate or defend themselves." "I hate to object, Lord Grania," Grim, using his extensive battle knowledge and experience, interrupted and gave his input, "but that strategy will not be as effective as we may hope. "The Ethisians aren’t working alone anymore. They have the Haisojan, Yrrejites, and Soxans fighting alongside them. We all know how experienced the Haisojans and Soxans are when it comes to battle. Their smaller frames and quick bodies allow them to gather themselves and either fall onto the offensive or, in this case, defensive sides. "We’ll need to attack multiple bastions at the same time. Not just one at a time." "I agree," Grand Master nodded in agreement. "With these numbers, we could attack five, or even six bastions at once. We need to plan well, allocate vehicles wisely, and plan our use of resources carefully." The Council Members and Tribal Leaders all agreed with Grim’s idea and because of that, Lord Grania greenlit it and pushed the conversation towards the agreed-upon idea. "Then what do you suggest?" he asked, this time asking One Horn and Helda for their input. "Shall we go with all six or should we fight sparingly?" "My Lords," Helda gave a light bow, "I suggest we hit hard, quick, and relentlessly. The Ethisians must be prepared for an attack but, as you said, we have an element of surprise on our side. If we can use our most powerful resources to do the job, we can lay waste to the bastions in clusters." "I agree with Helda." One Horn spoke at last and also gave his input in favor of their most valuable assets. "As Helda said, we must use our most powerful resources to do the job. I suggest we use the Blood Mutants and each one of us to frontline these attacks." At the sound of One Horn’s words, the Granians in the room murmured and mumbled among each other and discussed how ready the Blood Mutants were to participate in the REAL war. Some agreed with One Horn and supported the idea of having the Blood Mutants do what they were formed to do. Others, on the other hand, did not agree with One Horn and feared that the Blood Mutants were not yet strong enough, equipped enough, or prepared enough for battle. All of them, however, agreed on one thing. "Isn’t only one of the Four Blood Mutants strong enough to cause damage on the field of battle?" the Black-Scaled tribal leader questioned the integrity and strength of the other Blood Mutants. His question was valid and much like the others, he asked the question that everyone was thinking. Check latest chapters at 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭⚑𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮⚑𝕟𝕖𝕥 "Do the others possess the strength to be useful?" a Council Member questioned in the same light as the Tribal Leader. "I do not wish for our soldiers to fight with half their strength while their other half is used to protect the Blood Mutants." "And let us not forget the fifth Human that refuses to be turned," Another tribal leader added. "What good is she among the other four?" Many questions came from both Tribal Leaders and Council Members, all regarding whether the Blood Mutants were ready or not. Their questions didn’t come from arrogance but rather from places of concern. They understood how useful the Blood Mutants were and therefore, they wished to make sure that the Mutants would fight with all they had without risking losing their lives. "I assure you all," One Horn spoke on behalf of Skyler, the Human that refused to be turned, "the fifth Human is not one that you must worry about. Her strength surpasses that of a Blood Knight. I took it upon myself to train her in the path of Eneraflux. Not only has she spent time perfecting her skills, but she has also acquired new beastly forms and utilized them wisely. In fact..." The Granian took his upper garment off, showing a large scar running across his chest. "...she was able to harm me with only a half of her strength. I myself vouch for her, she can fight." "I speak in the same light as One Horn," Gravax added on behalf of the Crimson Knight. "We have two Blood Mutants that can cause significant amounts of damage on the battlefield. "The Bishop’s sister has seemed to...evolve. Her current strength rivals that of Helda who is with child. The Blood Mutants are growing in strength, that I agree, but these two are moving up faster than the other male and female. Perhaps those two can lead a frontline together while these siblings have their own with the fifth Human." "Then it is settled," Lord Grania finalized with delegating tasks to the Granians. "Lord Gravax, I assign you to lead the frontline with the Bishop’s sister. Grim, you will lead the second frontline with the Bishop and fifth Human. "One Horn, you and the other two Blood Mutants will lead the third frontline with Helda offering assistance where she can. Very soon, her efforts will no longer be used because of her condition. "The rest of us will deal with the previous businesses we had prior to this meeting. As we speak, over sixty percent of our soldiers from all tribes have grasped the basics of Eneraflux. There is much to be done and we’re making sure to complete it. Go now and bring victory to our people."
