In the air, the free-floating Fire Elements are especially abundant, creating a volcanic terrain right in this vast expanse of the Kawa Great Forest. Austin randomly chose a volcano and landed on its edge, which was covered with black volcanic rock formed by the solidification of molten magma. Beside him, a dark red ravine snaked down from the volcano's summit, with scorching magma slowly flowing through it. Even at a distance of ten meters, Austin could feel the wave of heat hitting him. Yet even in such a dry and scorching volcanic environment, amidst the black volcanic rocks around, there still grew scattered, entirely red, incredibly resilient plants. In Austin's previous life, most active volcanic craters were barren, let alone those extremely active volcanoes frequently flowing with dark red lava, ready to erupt at any moment. But in this world, there are actually plants that can adapt to such intensely hot environments and survive under these harsh conditions. Austin opened his sharp claws and dug into the hard volcanic ground, soon revealing several bright-colored metals among the shattered rocks. Refined Gold, Mithril, and various other unknown metal minerals. Austin went on to survey several more volcanoes, finding that the metal minerals embedded in the rocks varied somewhat, but the difference was negligible! This realization led Austin to understand that this volcanic area was like a gigantic treasure trove. "The minerals are so rich; this is practically a super-large gold mine!" Such a wealthy deposit, and this vast volcanic region stretches endlessly; if humans knew about it, they would probably immediately launch a frenzied march towards it in Central Earth. However, while this volcanic area is a very wealthy aggregation of Refined Gold and Mithril, these riches would only truly become valuable as wealth in the Human World. In this Kawa Great Forest, even if Refined Gold, Mithril, and other metal deposits were extracted, they were just a heap of stones that couldn't be eaten or drunk. "For the time being, these riches are of no use to the Dragon Nest Tribe, at least for now." Austin wasn't dazzled by the wealth before him and continued to delve deeper. So many minerals, plus these endless volcanoes. It can basically be confirmed that this volcanic area has intersected with the magma layer beneath the earth, maintaining a constant eruption of lava, while also heavily saturated with Fire Attribute Elements. This made Austin all the more curious. Was this environment naturally formed, or was it the result of Elemental Creatures remodeling the surroundings after their arrival? After pondering for a moment, Austin in the sky closed his eyes and sank into his Heart Spirit. The Domain prototype was fully opened, beginning a thorough search within the volcanic area. "Hmm? Where have the Elemental creatures hidden?" Enveloping an area of several miles, various subtle sounds and movements were amplified in his mind. Yet, within the entire Domain, there was only an empty space, with occasionally one or two Fire Attribute animals running around, but no trace of Elemental creatures. After a moment of thought, Austin suddenly realized. He had thought wrong. To Fire Elemental creatures, the Prime Material Plane is like an unbearably filthy sewer. Despite this remodeled volcanic region, with a large concentration of Fire Attribute Magic Power in one place, the outside world still feels highly unpleasant. How could they roam around patrolling outside all the time? Those Fire Elements should be staying in places more comfortable for them, while also being able to immediately sense when a creature accidentally enters their domain. Austin contemplated for a while and made a guess. Those Fire Elements are probably hiding underground, or rather inside the volcano, within the magma channels. By residing underneath in the magma layer, they can avoid contact with the Prime Material Plane, and if anyone passes above, the sound would transmit to the magma, causing a large number of Elemental creatures to emerge from their nests. This must be it, and Austin decided to test his theory. He descended from the sky and stomped hard a few times on the rigid volcanic rock, causing the surrounding mountain peaks to shiver, stones cascading from the top, and the mountain body nearly collapsing. Calm and composed, Austin maintained his stomping stance. Fresh chapters posted on novel•fire.net An angry hiss suddenly echoed as the flowing lava around the volcano's cracked surface began to churn, and then flames spontaneously appeared in the air, gradually forming into solid shapes, eventually becoming humanoid fiery beings. They were the Fire Elements! Life forms born of pure Elemental stars! Amidst sharp roars, hundreds of Fire Elements started charging directly at Austin. Meanwhile, more Fire Elements continued to leap forth from the lava cracks, joining the assault on Austin. Reaching over a thousand in number, they rushed like a Flame Storm, surging from all directions, seemingly intent on engulfing Austin completely. Among the roaring flames, Austin's figure remained unshaken in the slightest. Austin shook his head slightly. With a thought, bolts of lightning burst out of thin air, shining bright, forming clawing beams of lightning that struck out in all directions. The arm-thick blue lasers swept across, resembling pulsing longswords, causing each Fire Element to explode and shatter under the lightning, tearing apart and blossoming into firework-like sparks before dissipating entirely. In an instant, the hundreds of thousands of surging Fire Elements were mostly swept away by the lightning, with the remaining ones frozen in place, no longer daring to approach further. The Fire Elements may have low intelligence but not low survival instincts. Seeing their numerous companions so easily annihilated, none dared to take another step forward. As the blue lightning around him faded, the surrounding surface of volcanic rock was left in tatters, with stones cracked and crumbling. As the dust settled, the remaining Fire Elements, witnessing their many companions being obliterated with ease, dared not linger any longer, scattering in all directions. Austin ignored those who slipped through the net, picking up a broken Crystal Core that resembled a Red Crystal from the ground to examine it carefully. This was the Crystal Core left behind after destroying a Fire Element, and there were many more scattered on the pitted ground around him. These should be the core essences of the Fire Elemental creatures. Just like the Magic Beast Crystal Core within a Magic Beast, they are critical for sustaining life and exerting power, though compared to Magic Beast Crystal Cores, these Elemental Crystal Cores have more concentrated and purer Magic Elements.
