Chapter 21 Unwanted Dinner Guests . Elenas P.O.V. Im feeling nervous , why am I feeling so nervous ?. You would think Ive never been on a date before considering how nervous Im feeling right now . I guess Ive got good reason to feel this way because I havent been on a date in years , even long before Tristan stepped out on our marriage , we never went on dates or did things together as a couple because he was always busy trying to build his business or he preferred to spend all of his free time with the boys . Theres another reason why I believe Im feeling nervous and thats because not only is the date Im going on with Tanner our first one which is nerve wracking in enough itself but also because Im planning on telling him about my infertility tonight to get it out of the way . Just the thought of doing this is making me feel physically sick to the stomach because I dont want to lose him but Im afraid I will when he finds out I cant have his kids . I know it may seem silly to worry about this because there are always other options for us but I guess Im just feeling insecure because Tristan didnt waste any time in starting his affair with Brandy and getting her pregnant and unpregnant like a yo yo after Id lost our son and found out my chances of getting pregnant again are slim to none . PING !! , PING !! . I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard my phone pinging and I couldnt help but laugh as a faint blush tainted my cheeks when I saw the naughty text message I had received from my cousin Joshua . I quickly texted him back with a heart and a kissing face emoji before I finished getting ready . Tonight Im wearing a black , long sleeved , mini dress with the chest area cut out which shows a little boob but not a lot which is surprising considering Ive got quite big boobs , a pair of silver glittery heels with a matching bag and Ive kept my jewellery simple with just my piercings and my skull ring . 1/10 +15 Points Chapter 21 Unwanted Dinner G … Ive also kept my hair simple by curling it into sleek waves , my make up is natural with beige and soft browns on my eyes along with some thin , black false eyelashes to make my blue eyes pop and nude lips , as for my nails , Ive just put on some press on false nails with pure black on some of them and a silver glittery french manicure style on the rest . The reason why I chose to wear press on nails instead of treating myself to a fresh new set at the salon is because nails like this , especially acrylic nails arent practical for someone like me who works on a ranch with animals which is one of the few downsides to my job because I used to love to pamper myself and get my nails done but now I cant unless I take Tanner up on his offer . Speaking of that handsome man of mine . ELENA !! … ANGEL , WHERE ARE YOU ? Tanner shouts from downstairs . How did he get into my house again ?. Actually , you know what , I dont even wanna know how hes finding ways to get in and out of my home and to be honest with you , I dont care . Ill only start to care when he uses one of his sneaky ninja tricks to sneak up on me when Im not expecting it and he scares me out of the blue . IM COMING !! I answer him as I put my phone in my bag . I hope you sound a lot more enthusiastic than that when were in the bedroom , babe Tanner said as he entered my room and I chuckled . Anyway , lets go , sweetheart , our reservation is in thirty minutes Tanner said as he extended his hand out to me which I happily accepted . We then headed downstairs and he helped me put on my long black coat to keep me warm in the cold before putting on his own coat and escorting me out to his Rolls Royce which looked like the latest model . Wow , I didnt know you had a Rolls Royce , babe Theres a lot of things you dont know about me , angel including what I can do in the back seat of my Rolls … wanna find out ? He asks whilst wiggling his eyebrows at me and I throw my head back laughing . Oh my god . Youre crazy , Tanner I said while rolling my eyes . I then attempted to enter the car but I was stopped by Tanner who gently grabbed me by my arm with one hand as his free hand gripped my chin . You really love rolling your eyes at me , dont you , angel ? He asked sternly and I chuckled . Well , considering how hard your d ** k gets whenever I do it … I drift off as I narrowed my eyes down south to Tanners member which was currently straining hard against his pants and I know this because I can feel it against my thigh . You best believe I love doing it I whispered against his lips as I bit down on my lower lip causing Tanner to groan sexily as he cupped my face and kissed me hard before pulling away leaving me feeling breathless and turned on . f ** k me , that was hot . Get in the car , beautiful He said with a smirk as he swiped his thumb over his lower lip . I take a slow , deep breath in and out before getting in the car and putting my seatbelt on as Tanner closes the door and gets in the other side . As soon as he got in the car , he grabbed hold of my hand and placed it on his thigh . Tanner then put on his seatbelt and started up the car driving off my property as he held my hand in a vice grip hold which made me chuckle . Why are you laughing , angel ? Because youre funny I say whilst still chuckling as Tanner narrows his confused eyes briefly at me before looking back at the road . How so ? Because you cant go sixty seconds without touching me or without me touching you , can you ? its like youre addicted Well , what can I say , babe ? youre my drug and I simply cant get enough of you Tanner said with a smile as he raised our hands to kiss the back of mine which made me melt even if his words were kind of cheesy . Tanner and I spent most of the drive getting to know each other better starting off with the easy stuff first like favourite colours , music , books , movies etc before getting to the bigger and more serious questions but no matter what subject we were discussing or how light hearted or serious it was , this man of mine always brought the subject back to s * x even if he wasnt talking about us in particular having s * x . For example , when we were discussing what our favourite movies were , he was surprised at first to hear that I preferred horror movies and thrillers over love stories and rom coms and when he got over his shock , he made a comment about the s * x scenes in horror movies 4/10 +15 Paint Chapter 21 Unwanted Dinner always being better than porn which Im gonna have to take his word on for that . Were currently butting heads at the moment over another movie genre because Tanner thinks Twilight is the best vampire series to have ever been created but all of us normal people know that this isnt true but Tanner wont hear anything bad about it . Baby , Twilight doesnt even make the top ten when it comes to vampire shows or movies What is so wrong with Twilight , angel ? Tanner asks with annoyance in his tone and I look at him like what the f ** k ?. Whats right with it , Tanner ? … the author made the vampires sparkle I say in a duh tone as I spoke both syllables with the last word . She made the most feared and literally bloodthirsty characters in literature history f ***** g sparkle like chandeliers , I mean , who does that ? thats like Kurt Sutter doing The Sons Of Anarchy and making the big , bad bikers ballerina dancers as well , its stupid and ridiculous I say while rolling my eyes as I looked out of the window . I still think its a good series , babe Tanner mutters . The only thing thats good about that series , babe is Nikki Reed as Rosalie because shes a f *****g b *** h and I love it , oh and Kellan Lutz made watching it bearable as well Is that so ? Tanner asks with a slight bite in his tone which made me look at him and I couldnt help but smile when I saw his jaw was clenched and his hands were tightly gripping the steering wheel . I leaned over as best as I could without taking off my seatbelt and I gently cupped his face and kissed his cheek slowly moving my lips to his ear where I licked and nibbled on his earlobe . Are you jealous , my love ? I ask with a smile which seemed to make him angrier . Am I jealous ? … AM I f ***** g JEALOUS , ELENA? He shouts startling me a little but I didnt move away . This seemed to instantly calm him down and I felt his muscles as well as the tight grip he had on my hand loosen as well . Im glad you dont like the Twilight series now … at least I dont have to worry about you lusting over that little fucker Tanner muttered under his breath and I chuckled . Lets hope he doesnt find out about my love for The Vampire Diaries because hed probably have a stroke since that cast was made up of so many sexy men . The rest of our car ride fell into a comfortable silence after this . We barely spoke two words to each other but I knew Tanner wasnt pissed anymore because of his actions , the way his thumb was affectionately rubbing the back of my hand and also how he would briefly look over at me every now and then and smile with so much love in his eyes let me know that he wasnt angry with me anymore . We soon arrived at the restaurant which is a lovely yet expensive place called Charmings and I was so excited when I saw we were coming here because I knew the owners who are a sweet couple but are tougher than a two dollar steak . Theyre members of one of the legacy families in this town , the only black legacy family to be exact and from what Ive heard , they had to fight long and hard to earn their place here in Summerset if you will and now theyre one of the most respected families who own a franchise of restaurants , bars and diners called Charmings . My lady Tanner says whilst holding out his hand for me after opening my door . I smile at him and happily accept his outstretched hand as he helps me out of his car . Tanner then kissed my lips before leading us over to Charmings where we were greeted by the door staff who were nice and respectful to us as were the Maître D and the servers . We were lead over to our table which was part of the VIP section and we were handed our menús after our coats were taken and my mouth couldnt help but salivate over all of the delicious items . 6/10 +15 Poin Chapter 21 Unwanted Dinner G … Everything looks so good Thats because it is , Dexter , the owners son is a Michelin star chef and hes won many awards for his brisket alone Well , that explains why this place has got the award winning brisket sign in the window Tanner says and I smile . Charisma and Spencer are incredibly proud of Dexters achievements As they should Tanner said with a smile . We then ordered our food which wasnt easy because like Tanner said everything looked amazing and it was hard to pick just one or two from all of the delicious items on the menu . When the waiter left , Tanner grabbed hold of my hand and rubbed my knuckles with his thumbs . Are you ok , love ? Im perfect I say with a smile which Tanner reciprocated but it wasnt his full beautiful smile which I was used to . Are you sure ? because youve been acting strange ever since this morning S ** t . I thought to myself as I looked down at our hands with guilt and sadness in my eyes . Whats wrong , love ? I know somethings bugging you , so please … just tell me , what it is ? I take a breath as I try to gather some courage from deep within me . I then looked up at Tanner and was about to speak when I heard a familiar voice coming from behind me . Elena , Elena baby , is that you? I turned around and smiled brightly when I saw the owner approaching our table . Charisma , hi I said as I stood up to greet my friend with a hug . Charisma asks with cheekiness in her tone and in her expression as she narrows her eyes between Tanner and me . Charisma , this is my boyfriend Tanner , babe , this is Charisma shes the owner of Charmings Hi maam , how are you ? Im good , thank you , Tanner Charisma said before leaning in close to my ear . Good looks , great body and manners , girl , youd better get a ring on that mans finger ASAP before someone else does She says and both Tanner and I chuckle . Anyway , I wont keep you , I just wanted to say hi Charisma said while once again hugging me . Im glad you did , its always great to see you Charisma You too , baby She says while pinching my cheek before turning to face Tanner with a stern expression on her beautiful face . Youd better look after my girl , Tanner because my husband and I wont be happy if you hurt her , shes been through enough this one I promise you , Miss Charisma , my angel is in safe hands with me He says making both Charisma and I swoon but she didnt show it as she kept up her tough b *** h façade .
