In this instance, the factions are divided into Justice, Evil, and Neutral. As a [Loyalist] of the Justice faction, Wen Nan’s primary task is to ensure the safety of the [Queen] and [Princess], and on that basis, identify enemies and allies as much as possible. As a [Traitor] of the Evil faction, their primary task is to find the [Queen] and eliminate her. But that’s not enough. The [Traitors] must also take out the [Princess] and [Loyalists]. Although both revolve around the [Queen] role, a significant difference between the [Loyalists] of the Justice faction and the [Traitors] of the Evil faction is that [Loyalists] don’t necessarily need to cooperate. As long as all [Loyalists] clearly know who the [Queen] they need to protect is, they can work independently, protecting her in secret. In other words, players as [Loyalists] have no compelling motivation to monitor players suspected of being fellow [Loyalists]. The factions that need to monitor the [Loyalists] are twofold: the [Traitors] and the [Young Master’s] faction because they need to eliminate all [Loyalists] to win the game; besides, there are the [Queen] and [Princess]’s factions, as they need to determine who can be trusted to protect them. Up to this point in the instance, there have clearly been two groups attempting to gather players and characters to identify the [Loyalists]— In the private room of the Moneybox KTV, under the instigation of one or several backstage manipulators, Li Fang gathered all players suspected of being [Loyalists] and drugged them; In addition, in Wang Yajun’s lab, Wu Qing attempted to lead one [Loyalist] after another into that office to meet Professor Wang Yajun, all while conducting verbal investigations. Among these two groups, one undeniably belongs to the Evil faction led by the [Traitors], while the other is led by the [Queen] in the Justice faction. So, which side is Justice, and which is Evil? Initially, Wen Nan was somewhat hesitant. But from how urgently Yu Shujun rescued Wen Nan from that room, yet ignored Wu Qing leading Wen Nan into Wang Yajun’s office, one could glean insights—something worrying his little servant definitely couldn’t be from the same faction as Wen Nan. However, this clue was only confirmed recently by Wen Nan, because it wasn’t until the early morning that he learned from Yu Shujun that the figure in black clothing who saved him was indeed him. Apart from Yu Shujun’s external influence, Wen Nan had two other minor clues in judging the factions of both sides— One was when Wen Nan used the Mind Reading Technique on Wu Qing, the echoing scream in his mind was, ’With your identity, you cannot inquire! With my identity, the time isn’t right, cannot disclose!’, and Li Fang’s scream was almost identical to Wu Qing’s, except Li Fang didn’t mention ’the time isn’t right’. This means that for Wu Qing, when the time is right, she can actively tell Wen Nan her faction, whereas for Li Fang, she could never voluntarily tell Wen Nan this at any time. Wen Nan speculates that the timing Wu Qing referred to might be when Wen Nan unlocked the [Princess] identity. The [Princess] is the only role in the instance who knows who the [Queen] is from the beginning, but the [Princess] cannot disclose this information, except in two circumstances—they can leak this fact either when [Traitors] or [Assassins] kill her, or when [Loyalists] have clearly unlocked her faction. Of course, that timing no longer matters. Because from Yu Shujun’s attitude towards their appointment, Wen Nan determined that Wu Qing and Wang Yajun’s faction undoubtedly belonged to the [Queen]’s faction. Of course, there’s still a small question—between Wu Qing and Wang Yajun, this pair of teacher and student, who is really the [Queen]. Wang Yajun always sat behind the desk, watching everything like a mastermind, while Wu Qing rushed around like a subordinate, scouting out suspicious [Loyalists] to bring into the office. Not to mention, the only identity concealment card they had was used on Wang Yajun, and together with Wu Qing’s extreme protective behavior when Wen Nan tested Wang Yajun before... All superficial clues hint that Wang Yajun is the [Queen], and Wu Qing is just a follower serving at her behest. However, Wen Nan firmly believed that the relationship between this teacher and student was not as simple as it seemed— Wen Nan was convinced that Wu Qing was the real [Queen]. This suspicion had been in Wen Nan’s mind since he first came to Wang Yajun’s office because of a character introduction segment. In Wu Qing’s background introduction, there was such a passage— She treats her students like her own children, adhering to the principle of "students’ grades above all else" in her teaching process. Hence, during the two years she has been substitute teaching, the biochemistry course has received multiple commendations from the head of the department. This introduction seems rather incongruous. The current instance is set in a university, where courses, even ones related to majors, aren’t as rigorous as those in high school. And here, most instructors are generally teaching only due to the requirement of teaching tasks or for promotion, showing no concern for their students whatsoever. The instructors usually just make do, and Wu Qing, merely a teaching assistant, came to substitute only because Wang Yajun wasn’t feeling well, being a PhD student herself. Why would she be so committed and responsible? It’s quite strange.
