In Tarinda’s garden cottage, Lis looked at Tarinda and couldn’t help but point to himself. Establish a brand new school? My dear Third Speaker, you’re really not holding back! Lis understood very well what Tarinda meant. Due to the unique nature of Mage professionals, the power structure of the Pan-Continent Mage Association is very different from ordinary extraordinary forces. Or rather, even within the Pan-Continent Mage Association, there are over a hundred different forces. And these forces within the association are the different Mage schools. The Pan-Continent Mage Association is not just open to Mage professionals, but it is the powerful Mages who still hold the dominant position. The biggest difference between Mages and other extraordinary professions is that Mages have a very comprehensive range of abilities. Even the types of spells cast are divided into Protection system, Magic System, Shape Power Series, Prophetic, Confusion Control System, Illusion Technique, Death Spirit, Transformation Magic, among eight others. And within each type of spell, there are many development directions. For example, Shape Changing Magic is fundamentally distinguished by the type of magic elements used in the spell, into Fire Element, Water Element, Wind Element, and Earth Magic. Mages can use a wide variety of spells, which makes them powerful and comprehensive, while also bringing new problems. The problem is that each Mage’s energy is limited. Except in very rare cases, a normal Mage cannot possibly master all types of spells. Biting off more than one can chew! Before breaking through to a certain level of strength, most Mages choose one or two main spells to cultivate based on their own talents and affinity with different spells, pairing them with other types of spells for combat and exploration. So, naturally, different development directions for Mages have emerged. Mages who specialize in the same type of spell automatically gather together to exchange learning and progress, while also uniting to strive for collective interests. This is the origin of many schools, The Pan-Continent Mage Association, like the once Magic Empire, internally divides its forces based on these schools. Lis has some understanding of the Pan-Continent Mage Association. Currently among the hundreds of schools within the Pan-Continent Mage Association, there are three most powerful ones, namely, the Tower of Burning Embers, the Secret Meeting of Ten Thousand Forms, and the Lie Cocoon. These three schools are also the top schools in the association, having a significant share of the association’s power. Besides these, there are over a dozen first-class schools like the Star Ring School where [Star Dome Observer] Oriolan Starlight is located. Below that are second-class schools and low-end schools, which account for the majority of schools in number. The strength difference between schools is basically assessed by the number of Legendary Mages within the school. For example, the three top schools have over ten Legendary Mages each. First-class schools like the Star Ring School have multiple Legendary Mages. Second-class schools have only one Legendary Mage. Low-end schools have no Legendary Mages. The latest_epɪ_sodes are on_the 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝✶𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖✶𝕟𝕖𝕥 The reason for this division, rather than based on the strength of the Legendary Mages, is because the highest decision-making body of the Pan-Continent Mage Association is the Legendary Council. Every Legendary Mage who joins the Pan-Continent Mage Association automatically becomes a member of the Legendary Council. The Legendary Council decides all decisions of the Pan-Continent Mage Association, and except for the three Speakers, each member has one vote. Thus, the more Legendary Mages a school has, the greater its influence in the Legendary Council. Looking from this perspective, the number of Legendary Mages in the Pan-Continent Mage Association seems to exceed one hundred. In reality, it’s not that exaggerated. The distinction of the Pan-Continent Mage Association from other extraordinary forces is that it welcomes Legendary Mages from the Gaia World. As long as they belong to the Order Camp and are not Evil God believers or followers of demons, the association does not care about the forces to which the joining Mages belong. For example, Legendary Mages of the Church of the Gods can also join the Pan-Continent Mage Association. The main distinction is that the resources within the Pan-Continent Mage Association are distributed according to the contributions of the members, without discrimination based on their identity. This is also a rule set by the first Speaker, [Master of Time Traces] Osiris Chronos. Thus, the number of Legendary Mages who only join the Pan-Continent Mage Association is not many. Most Legendary Mages join the association with their own purposes, some hoping to gain more high-end spell knowledge, some wanting to use the magic workshop of the Floating City, and even some aiming to leverage the association’s power to gain benefits. As long as the association’s rules are followed, the Pan-Continent Mage Association places no limitations on this. Most Legendary Mages leave the association after achieving their goals. Although the association has specially arranged long-distance communication devices, most of the leaving Legendary Mages are not very concerned about the decisions of the Legendary Council. Their voting rights automatically belong to the schools to which they are affiliated. Thus, it’s evident the uniqueness of the school forces within the Pan-Continent Mage Association. For Lis, starting a new school is not really a problematic matter. However, it is clear that Tarinda wants Lis to do more than just establish a school. Although not knowing what Tarinda wants to do, Lis seems to be getting a whiff of trouble.
