---- Chapter 10 The wedding was grand. Jaxon had put so much effort into it. The road from my house to the Fido family's mansion was filled with big signs celebrating our wedding. Above the river, a huge drone show lit up the sky. The drones created an image of our wedding photo. All the major news channels in the city were talking about our wedding. I was wearing the wedding dress Jaxon designed himself. He had just given me a sweet candy, and the taste made me feel warm and happy. In my past life, Callum had stabbed me on our wedding day. Even though I almost died, I still chose to marry him and ended up dead and heartbroken. In this life, I just wanted a peaceful wedding with Jaxon. ---- Right before the car entered the Fido family's mansion, it suddenly stopped. The driver shouted, "Tt's Mr. Callum! He's here to stop the wedding!" Callum smashed the car window. "Moon, come with me! Today should've been our wedding!" He looked at me with hopeful eyes. He was even wearing the same suit he wore in my past life. It was crazy. Jaxon held my hand and said, "Don't worry. I've got this." He got out of the car and said, "Callum, it's over. Don't cause more trouble." "Tt's all your fault! Moon only left me because of you. If I get rid of you, she'll come back to me! The Fido family's business will be mine!" Suddenly, Callum pulled out a knife, the same one he used to stab me in my past life, and rushed at Jaxon. I was terrified and yelled, "Jaxon, watch ---- out!" Jaxon moved quickly. He dodged the attack, knocked the knife away, and held Callum down. The bloody knife fell to the floor. I hurriedly asked, "Jaxon, are you hurt?!" Before he could answer, Callum shouted, "I'm the one who's hurt! And you care about him?!" "Jaxon is my husband. Of course I care about him." Callum looked completely defeated. Out of nowhere, Ruby appeared, rushed over to him, and hugged him tightly. "Callum, you're supposed to marry me!" "Move away! You've ruined everything!" In his fury, he kicked Ruby hard. She stumbled back and fell to the floor in pain. There was blood on the floor. ---- Ruby clutched her stomach. "Callum, how could you do this to me? I'm carrying your child! You have to marry me! If not, how will I ever find someone else?" "No, you're lying!" Callum turned to me and explained, "Moon, trust me. I've never touched Ruby! The baby isn't mine! She's just trying to ruin me!" Jaxon stopped the chaos. "Enough. Today is my wedding with Moon. I don't care about your drama. Deal with it yourselves." The Fido family's bodyguards showed up and quickly escorted Callum and Ruby out. Thankfully, the rest of our wedding went on. without a hitch. After the ceremony, I finally asked Jaxon the question that had been on my mind. "Jaxon, how did you come to love me?"
