---- Chapter 15 Becky's POV Before I could answer Kiera's annoying question, Alpha Michael suddenly let out a low growl and wheeled his chair forward, his wolfish instincts flickering beneath his usually docile surface. "Ahhh!" he babbled, his arms flailing as he lunged straight into Kiera. Kiera let out a loud cry as she stumbled backward, falling to the floor with a thud. "You little-" she shrieked. Alpha Michael clapped his claw-tipped hands together, laughing like a pup discovering his first prey. "Fun! Fun!" I bit my lip, trying not to smirk. ---- Alpha David's eyes widened. "Kiera!" He rushed to help her up. Kiera clutched his arm dramatically, her face twisted in anger. "He's useless! He almost killed me!" Alpha Michael just giggled, his innocent expression unwavering. Kiera turned to me, pointing a shaky finger. " Becky, how could you marry someone like this?" Alpha David clenched his jaw, his eyes burning with Alpha rage. Then, before I could react, he stepped toward Alpha Michael, his hand raised. I stepped in front of Alpha Michael instantly. " Don't you dare." My voice was firm, laced with warning. Alpha David froze. "Becky, move." I didn't budge. "Why? Because he bumped into your precious Kiera? Funny, you didn't hitDorian ---- when he shot me with his arrow." Alpha David's expression darkened, but he lowered his hand. "Take him away," he snapped at the butler. The butler gave me a hesitant glance before wheeling Alpha Michael toward his room. Alpha David exhaled sharply and turned to me. "I need to talk to you. Alone." I crossed my arms. "I have nothing to say to you." He ignored me and walked outside, expecting me to follow. I sighed. I wasn't in the mood for his games, but I wanted this conversation over with. I stepped outside, arms still crossed. "Talk." Alpha David took a deep breath, studying me. " Why, Becky? Why him?"
