The crimson eyeball hangs in the sky like the sun, eyes chained together forming rings that encircle it, like the most devoted knights. And behind this giant crimson eyeball, the not yet fully restored space distortion ripples like water and waves. Gale winds roar between heaven and earth, toppling one towering instrument after another, their sounds blending into a wave-like ’howl’. As if trembling to greet this great ’king’, devout subjects prostrate at the feet of their monarch. However, in the center of these turbulent ’subjects’, hidden under dim shadows, a figure stands upright, gazing up at the giant eyeball in the sky. Like a thorn, he stands there, piercing into the ’king’s’ field of view. The enormous eyeball gazes down, its terrifying pressure condensing space into a solid form, pressing down on He Ao. He feels as if burdened with mountains upon mountains, pressing on his shoulders, forcing him to kneel, to prostrate, to submit to the rule of this Great Monarch. Twisted forces accompany and penetrate through time and space, invading He Ao’s body, infiltrating his muscles, blood, and soul, instantly attempting to ’take over’ He Ao’s body, controlling his actions, to make him prostrate. He Ao can feel himself rapidly losing control over his body. This is his first time facing the King’s true form, the oppressive feeling far surpasses any ’projection’ he had seen before. This is the angel, standing in the firmament, eternal and undying higher being. No matter how powerful a mortal, a mortal is only able to slightly withstand its gaze. At that moment, dazzling thunder explodes behind He Ao, but instead of charging skyward, it rushes directly into He Ao’s body. Terrifying electric light slices through He Ao’s blood vessels, skin, and flesh like fine blades. The pain like dense insect bites laps like waves on He Ao’s heart. Yet as the electric light floods in, the horrific, body-warping force dominating He Ao’s body begins to be ’dispelled’, slowly squeezing into the corners of He Ao’s body. Li Cheng lifts his head and glances at He Ao, but says nothing. After a brief pause, he retracts his gaze and leaps onto the stone egg. He Ao struggles to lift his hand, glancing at the sparkling electric light on his fingertip. This portion of power is what Li Cheng ’shared’ with him, the power of Andaville’s Spear can somewhat dispel the influence exerted on him by the sky’s ’king’. Yet, as he lacks a close sequence and does not resonate with Andaville’s Spear, forcibly embracing this angel tier power subjects his body to some extra pain. But for He Ao, this is not a problem. He is used to it. Only an angel can drive away an angel. Orange-gray light flashes in his eyes, the power from the Eye of Truth quickly mixes with the flickering electric light, stabilizing the influx of Andaville’s Spear power in He Ao’s body, preventing it from suddenly dissipating. Meanwhile, the ’king’ in the sky seems to sense something, its lowered gaze further concentrates on He Ao. He Ao also raises his head, gazing at the giant eyeball. At the moment their gazes ’meet’, the vast grace power accumulated from slaying those eyeballs erupts, driving his thunder-strickened body into the shadow of the giant stone egg. A tremble of thunder rings through the space, like some kind of angry roar. In an instant, the chain of eyeballs surrounding the giant eyeball suddenly unfolds, like a shattered pearl necklace, scattering into individual eyeballs. These eyeballs swiftly encircle the stone egg, blood-red light gathering in their pupils. In an instant, countless rays gush from each eyeball, directionless, intercrossing, forming a dense three-dimensional light web in the shadow below the stone egg. Just entering the shadow, He Ao nearly grazes his body against the light web; in turning, his hem brushes it, instantly rendering the touched area into nothingness. On the edges of those blood-red rays, traces of spatial ’curvature’ gather into beams of light. This guy feels stronger than a regular angel. He Ao’s heart tightens; taking advantage of the light web’s static state, he slightly rises and jumps into the air, clinging to the bottom of the floating stone egg. In the instant he touches it, a soul-deep apprehension surges from his heart. It seems as if he is being gazed upon by some abnormally terrifying existence. It appears this stone egg, or the contents within, is no ’easy ally’. Yet as He Ao anticipated, even the hovering ’king’ would not easily provoke this stone egg. The flashing crimson lights do not touch the stone egg. He Ao clings thus to the stone egg bottom, moving rapidly sideways by grasping the rocky protrusions underneath. He knows clearly, the ’king’ will not be troubled by such minor issues. As he quickly moves dozens of meters, the crimson light below begins to change rapidly, the intercrossing red rays turning parallel to the stone egg base, sweeping closely beneath it. These rays are precisely controlled—not touching the stone egg base by less than a centimeter, sweeping along its base almost perfectly. Yet these beams aren’t densely covering the entire stone egg bottom—there aren’t that many eyeballs. He Ao barely manages to evade the beams’ attack by exploiting gaps and the stone egg base’s protrusions. Even then, he moves swiftly. Soon, he reaches the stone egg’s opposite edge underneath. He has effectively ’crossed’ under the stone egg. From afar, he raises his head, seeing the eyeball array surrounding the stone egg rim, emitting crimson beams. This underside position is sealed above and below by the stone egg, surrounded entirely by eyeballs; to escape, he must directly face those perimeter-sealing eyeballs. As He Ao gazes at them, they too notice him, promptly turning their gaze, sweeping crimson rays towards He Ao. However, He Ao moves faster. Lightning coils around his body, stirring his flesh. His figure bursts forward like genuine thunder, threading the gaps of brilliance, passing by the eyeballs before they react. Three consecutive intercrossed eyeballs abruptly stall, their crimson light fading, their bodies revealing a barely noticeable diagonal piercing wound, splitting them in two. Simultaneously, those three eyeballs disintegrate in the void, dissipating swiftly into dust. Emerging through, He Ao does not stop; he swiftly threads between giant machines, racing towards the distant door. Now, the enormous stone egg floats behind him, creating a gap between him and the King Angel, partially shielding him from its gaze. The force attempting to dominate his body weakens slightly. Indeed, exerting that force requires ’gaze’ as a medium. Yet, He Ao lingers not, continuously urging Andaville’s Spear power within his body, stimulating his flesh to accelerate his speed. This is his newly devised method of utilizing Andaville’s Spear power. Such powerful influence, drawn in to leave undeveloped would be regrettable. Crimson beams rise behind him, streaking sky and ground, carving holes in enormous machines, rust-covered steel. He Ao quickly moved his figure, darting through the beams of light. A thunderous roar echoed in the sky, causing He Ao’s movement to pause slightly. The terrifying power of domination had already spread across his body. The giant eye had already bypassed the stone egg’s obstruction, hovering right above it, scanning the entire space. A brilliant red light grazed past He Ao’s head, erasing a few strands of his hair. The red beams encircling him were becoming increasingly dense. In the sky, another pair of rings formed by eyeballs shattered beside the giant eye, dispersing into individual eyeballs that began chasing the distant ones. In the dense red light, He Ao’s eyes scanned the surrounding collapsed machinery. The situation was much worse than he initially expected. Since entering this space, he noticed many toppled machines. Initially, he thought it was the result of chaos when the relic civilization people evacuated, thinking it was unnecessary. Now, seeing the ’King’s’ tremors, he realized that these ’collapses’ happened after the relic civilization evacuated. The King Angel probably came to this space more than once; it was already here before He Ao and his team arrived. Considering the eyeballs they previously encountered and the King Angel smoothly opening a space ’backdoor.’ It’s likely that the King Angel wasn’t chasing them here, but rather this was the Angel’s lair or one of them. When they arrived, He Ao predicted the possibility of being chased by an Angel but didn’t expect their destination was a powerful Angel’s lair. His initial plan was to find a way to repel or deter the Angel if chased. He Ao knew well the combat power of an Angel, relying on Li Cheng and an Angel Tier weapon, it was nearly impossible to defeat or even severely injure an Angel. But repelling a chasing Angel and kicking someone out of their own lair are entirely different in difficulty. He Ao raised his head and looked at the large door ahead. What’s more, this Angel is terrifyingly powerful. Let alone kicking someone out of their lair, whether they can escape alive is a big question. Behind him, came the whistling sound of piercing through the air, as eyeballs rapidly charged towards He Ao. And at the moment, the stone gate was already right in front of He Ao. Dazzling red rays emerged from the centers of the pursuing eyeballs behind He Ao, turning the originally illuminated by bluish light to a blood-red hue. But at this moment, He Ao didn’t rush towards the stone gate; instead, he turned directly around, looking at the eyeballs behind him. The countless eyeballs were stunned by his sudden movement. And He Ao’s gaze had already lifted, again looking at the blood-red eyeball hovering in the sky above the giant stone egg. Brilliant lightning lit up the entire firmament like dawn. It burst forth from the stone egg, shooting straight into the sky, towards the giant eyeball above. Everything happened at incredible speed; the giant eyeball controlling the small ones to chase He Ao seemed entirely unprepared for something daring to climb atop the towering stone egg and actually attack him. The rocks composing the dome space emitted a roaring sound, resonating with the thunder that permeated the sky. The surging thunder raised a brilliance like cumulus clouds, covering the skies, illuminating everything below. The eyeballs chasing He Ao stopped at this moment, their red glow dissipated, seemingly startled by the sudden change. He Ao raised his head, gazing into the sky. The brilliant thunder dissipated shortly after its moment of shine, the huge blood-red eyeball remained suspended in mid-air. And the thunder that traversed the sky fell to the other side. The gaze of the giant eye had already shifted towards the fallen thunder. Below the eyeball, faint traces of scattered red light could be seen. He Ao sighed inwardly, lifting the Shadowless Sword in his hand, leaping towards the still bewildered eyeballs. This time’s cooperation plan remained simple: He Ao attracts hatred, Li Cheng is responsible for the sneak attack. From the resulting perspective, their plan succeeded, but only half succeeded. Li Cheng’s sneak attack succeeded, but it didn’t cause considerable damage as anticipated. The King Angel is indeed much stronger than ordinary Angels. He Ao’s gaze swept over the fallen thunder, and as the giant eye focused on the falling thunder, the invisible sword light strode through the sky, targeting the unreacting eyeballs, delicate lightning permeated the Shadowless Sword. Just in one swift encounter, the leading five eyeballs turned into dust and vanished. Then He Ao raised his hand, the Shadowless Sword turned into shadow in his hand and disappeared. With the disappearance of the Shadowless Sword, he didn’t linger in battle, took one last glance at the distant giant eyeball, and then rushed again towards the stone gate. In his heart, he already had some judgment. If this is indeed the King Angel’s lair, why did it let both of them come here so easily? Didn’t it notice another uninvited guest coming in? The eyeballs chasing He Ao came to their senses and started pursuing him again. But at this time, the giant eyeball’s gaze in the sky remained focused on the descending thunder. The terrifying and twisted power spread towards Li Cheng falling from the sky. Even those chasing He Ao had part of their focus drawn away. Clearly, after the King Angel realized Li Cheng could harm it, it grasped the plan of the two and shifted its target. The hatred towards He Ao was insufficient. He Ao stared at the giant eyeball in the sky, slowly took a breath. No problem, he still had something that could forcibly attract more hatred. A sound akin to a roaring whistle seemed to echo through the void, slicing through the space behind He Ao, then rapidly vanishing. The sky trembled once more, the giant eyeball above the sky ’swish——’ turned its gaze, looking at He Ao.
