---- Chapter 7 After being stuck in the city for a long time, I rode on the prairie for a whole week. As expected, I caught a cold and lay in bed for several more days after so many days of wind exposure. Dad glared at me with frustration. "You're so weak now! You're starting physical training with your brother tomorrow!" When I heard my father's statement, I frowned instantly. ''No way, Dad! Isn't that something only the company's heir needs to do? Why do I have to learn too?" "you also need to learn to run the company," Dad said to me with wide eyes. My expression sank instantly. "Why? Isn't there still Kyle? Mom chimed in beside me, "With your father and Kyle's joint efforts, the company has been growing larger in recent years. Your brother is already struggling to run it all by himself. You must step forward and give your brother a hand." ---- I was shocked. Was Kyle that great of a businessman? Despite my reluctance, Dad still forced me to join the company's management, starting as his assistant! He and Kyle frantically instilled all kinds of knowledge into my mind. My leisurely days left me. I was so busy every day that my head was dizzy and my mind was filled with all kinds of data and company reports. I simply had no spare mental capacity to think about Ian. Time flew in the hustle and bustle. A year passed in the blink of an eye. Under Kyle and Dad's strict guidance, I gradually became able to handle things independently and negotiate contracts on my own. Thad just gotten home after discussing a project the previous day and was lying on the couch drinking a soda when I saw Kyle leading a dozen men in. Each of them was six feet tall and handsome. "Kyle, what are you doing?" I jumped up from the ---- couch like a frightened rabbit and looked at the men ata loss. "I'm finding you a man. Pick one you like." Kyle sat on the couch and said calmly. I gulped, wondering, 'Is Kyle really so open-minded?" "T don't have the heart for romance now. I just want to focus on my career!" I said righteously as I looked away from the dozen men with difficulty. Kyle looked at me leisurely and said, "I'm not asking for romance from you, but you need to produce an heir. I discussed it with Mom and Dad. With your taste in men and you being a hopeless romantic, not getting married is the best choice! Our family is rich anyway. We can support you for life! But you need an heir. These men were carefully selected by Dad and me. Which one do you like?" Listening to Kyle's shocking words, I coughed lightly and said slowly, ''There are so many men, and I don't know them at all... Can you at least give me some time to get to know them? You're making it sound like animal mating!"
