Book Name :- One Piece : Cursed Crew ----------------------------- The Golden Lion couldn’t believe it. The man he had so confidently backed, Bullet, had been defeated. Buggy was equally stunned. "I... I said that guy couldn’t really be the captain’s son, right?" Buggy stammered. Ikki turned to him with a smirk. "When did I ever say he was lying?" Buggy’s jaw dropped. He had always thought Evil Thoughts Ace was just a powerful guy using Roger’s name for fame, but it turned out to be true. He’d never even considered that Ikki might have been lying. After all, on the high seas, strong men had their pride. It would be disgraceful to claim to be someone’s son for a little fame. Blackbeard: Feeling insulted. While they were talking, Ace, now back in human form, appeared before them, dragging the unconscious Bullet. As soon as Ace dropped Bullet, he himself collapsed and fell into a deep sleep. It was his first time fully entering his dragon form, so just finishing the fight was an impressive feat. Watching him, Ikki wondered when he’d be able to achieve a full dragon transformation himself. His own abilities still had a long way to go. He couldn’t even use the Dragon Force mode of his Sky Dragon Slayer magic yet, and he had no idea when his two Sharingan eyes would evolve into the Mangekyo. The only thing he was sure he could improve was his Haki. "Looks like I need to work harder, too," he muttered. "I need to draw some more cool stuff." In terms of raw talent, Ikki was a prodigy. Compared to other pirates, he was a genius. Even when compared to the Marine Admirals, he was on par with them. But he was constantly measuring himself against legends: Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ace—each one a protagonist in their own right, and each one a monster. They could train for just a year or two and come out strong enough to fight an Admiral. Crocodile puffed on his cigar. "Where to now?" he asked. Ikki glanced at the sleeping Ace and Bullet. "Once they wake up, we’re heading to Sky Island. We’ll wait there for news from the Marines and the World Government." "News? What news?" the Golden Lion asked curiously. "That’s for me to know and for you not to ask," Ikki replied, before turning away to a more important task: a system lottery draw. He soon drew two very interesting items. The first was a Gold-level item, [Game Domain]. It had no offensive power, but it could suck people into a game world where Ikki could set all the rules. He immediately thought of all sorts of games, from 5-vs-5 MOBAs to 100-player battle royales and even auto chess. The second item was a Gold-level character summoning card: Fairy Tail’s Strongest Mage, [Gildarts Clive]. "What the... Isn’t that Shanks’s half-brother?" Ikki thought, taking a deep breath. Gildarts was a top-tier fighter who could go toe-to-toe with an Emperor or a Marine Admiral, especially if he learned Haki. Ikki decided to summon him immediately. He activated the card, and Gildarts appeared before them, bruised and battered, missing a leg and an arm. Despite his injuries, he was still conscious. He immediately hopped away from Ikki, wary of the stranger. Crocodile, the Golden Lion, and Buggy, who were chatting and smoking, were shocked by the sudden appearance. "He... he’s got red hair? Why is he here?" Crocodile asked, confused. The blood on Gildarts’s face and his red hair made Crocodile mistakenly think he was Shanks. "Isn’t that the intern from Roger’s ship?" the Golden Lion muttered, taking a long drag from his cigarette. "Lost an arm and a leg, huh? Who did that to you? Garp?" The only person the Golden Lion thought could do that much damage to Shanks was Garp. Only Buggy was skeptical. He squinted at Gildarts. Though the man looked a lot like Shanks, Buggy knew it wasn’t him. He could smell Shanks from a mile away! Gildarts was confused. Moments ago, he was on a century-long mission, fighting the Black Dragon King, Acnologia. The dragon had casually ripped off his leg and arm, toying with him like a mouse with its prey. It was the only reason he was still alive. Now, he was here. As he tried to make sense of things, the system began to pour information about this new world into his head. He was stunned to learn he was in a completely different world. Hearing the others call him "Red-Hair" made him frown. "Are you talking about someone as handsome as me?" he asked. "My name is Gildarts." He then looked at Ikki. "Did you bring me here?" "Yep," Ikki replied. "I’d say I saved your life." Gildarts looked at his mangled body, then smiled wryly. "Thank you." He immediately collapsed from blood loss, but Ikki was ready. He quickly pulled out a magical Senzu Bean and fed it to him. In an instant, Gildarts’s missing arm and leg grew back, and all his injuries vanished. He stared at his perfectly healed body in shock. The Golden Lion’s eyes widened with hope. "If it can heal him, then maybe it could heal me too..." he thought, before quickly shaking his head. Revenge on Garp was a suicide mission. Ikki then explained the situation. "Gildarts, I know you’re a Fairy Tail wizard, and you want to go home, but I don’t have the power to send you back yet. I promise if you follow me, I’ll be able to send you home someday." Unlike Kakashi, Gildarts didn’t need to verify the information. He was a carefree guy. As long as no one hurt his friends or his daughter, he was easygoing. He was a lot like Shanks in that way. Ikki then introduced him to the others. When the Golden Lion finally realized Gildarts wasn’t Shanks, he laughed and clapped him on the shoulder. "Haha, I thought you were that Red-Haired brat!"
