Book Name :- One Piece : Cursed Crew ----------------------------- In the grand conference hall of Marine Headquarters, a historic event was about to begin. For the first time, a debate was being held with the fate of a person on the line. Tʜe sourcᴇ of thɪs content ɪs 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵✦𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮✦𝓷𝓮𝓽 The topic: Whether the Impel Down invader who calls himself Gol D. Ace is the son of the Pirate King, and whether Fire Fist Ace should be executed. Representing the prosecution were Blackbeard and a member of CP0, who were tasked with proving that Fire Fist Ace was the Pirate King’s son. Arguing for the defense were Lieutenant General Garp and Fleet Admiral Sengoku, who were fighting to clear Ace’s name. As soon as Blackbeard walked into the hall and saw Garp and Sengoku, he trembled. He was especially terrified when Garp made a hammering motion at his waist. Blackbeard quickly hid behind the CP0 agent, who was also looking nervous. Both men moved cautiously to their seats and only relaxed once they were safely sitting down. "Alright," said Fleet Admiral Kong, the debate’s notary, as he banged his gavel. The other notary was Staff Officer Tsuru, whose hairstyle resembled a judge’s wig. Two Marine soldiers led Fire Fist Ace to a designated seat. Kong looked at him and asked, "Ace, Lieutenant General Garp claims you are not the son of the Pirate King. Do you have anything to say?" Ace, who had already planned this with Garp, smiled. He knew lying was wrong, but if it could save lives, it was a necessary lie. "I am not the son of the Pirate King," he said calmly. "Then... let me ask you again," Kong continued. "Did you become the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates’ Second Division as an undercover agent?" Ace’s smile remained. "That’s right, I’m an undercover agent." Kong narrowed his eyes, sensing Ace’s playful demeanor. "Fire Fist Ace, this is a serious inquiry. What are you laughing at?" Hearing Kong’s words, Blackbeard immediately slid out of his chair and onto the floor, while Garp, Sengoku, Aokiji, and Kizaru all looked at Kong and Blackbeard with interest, wondering if Kong would "accidentally" punish Blackbeard. But Kong didn’t, much to Blackbeard’s relief. With his questions asked, Kong looked at Blackbeard, who was the key to this debate. Blackbeard was certain that Ace was the Pirate King’s son because he had heard Ace confess it to Whitebeard. Blackbeard rose and pointed at Ace. "Fire Fist Ace, the captain of Whitebeard’s Second Division, is the son of the Pirate King! I heard him admit it myself! Not just to Whitebeard, but to several members of his crew. And..." Blackbeard looked at Aokiji and Kizaru. "General Aokiji and General Kizaru heard Ace confess his identity, too!" Everyone in the hall looked at the two Admirals. They shrugged, and Kizaru answered. "Oh? Did he say that? I don’t recall. What I do recall is that Blackbeard was in a pretty bad state when we found him. He probably wouldn’t have been rescued if he hadn’t offered Ace’s identity as a bargaining chip to the World Government." He then added, "Oh, and speaking of that, I haven’t been paid my overtime pay yet!" Blackbeard grumbled to himself, thinking, You’re all in this together! He turned to CP0 for help. The CP0 agent stood up, holding a photograph. He intended to prove that the Impel Down invader was not the Pirate King’s son. "Look at this photo. Does this man look familiar?" The man in the photo was none other than Evil Thoughts Ace, wearing his signature Landry Torture mask. Sengoku and Garp’s expressions changed. They had forgotten about this crucial detail. But since the invader had worn a mask the entire time, it wasn’t an impossible point to argue against. "The mask in this photo is from a mysterious and powerful man who appeared on the seas more than twenty years ago," the CP0 agent explained. "How could a man who was already a strong fighter over two decades ago be the son of the Pirate King?" Sengoku and Garp were once again under pressure. Garp began to think, but Sengoku already had a plan. He patted Garp’s shoulder, signaling him to stand down, then rose to refute the point. "This photo doesn’t prove anything. The Pirate King’s son could simply be the inheritor of the mask. Besides, you just said you don’t know how old the Pirate King’s son is. How do you know this masked man isn’t the same age as a Pirate King’s son from twenty years ago?" The CP0 agent rose, his voice low. "Fleet Admiral Sengoku, you must be joking. Have you ever seen a man with a child’s age have the power of a general?" "Oh?" Sengoku smiled. "So if I can find a child with the strength of a general, you’ll agree that the man in that photo is the Pirate King’s son?" The CP0 agent fell silent. No matter how talented a child was, it was impossible to be that strong. He saw an opening. "Fine! If you can find a single-digit-aged boy with the strength of a general, I’ll agree with you." "Alright!" Sengoku said. He then turned to Aokiji. "Aokiji, go to Mariejois and bring my grandson, Conan, over!" Upon hearing Conan’s name, many Marines’ faces turned pale, and some even considered leaving the conference hall.
