"I’ll get it myself." An Yin said, standing up to head outside, until a warm touch on her slender wrist stopped her. She looked down dazedly at the man’s distinct fingers gripping her. "Together." His voice was clear, carrying an undeniable firmness. An Yin’s face flushed as she tried to break free from him. Bao Shaojin watched her squirm for a moment before releasing his hold. He stood up as well, not offering any explanation for his sudden action. They walked out of the tent one after the other and went into the store. An Yin took a bottle of orange juice from the fridge, "You’re really not drinking anything?" Bao Shaojin glanced at the open fridge and grabbed a bottle of mineral water. An Yin tilted her head, staring at the water in his hand for a moment before closing the fridge door dully. As they were about to turn around, they heard a commotion outside. "Isn’t there no one inside? We’ll sit here." A man said aggressively. An Yin didn’t pay it much attention, but her grip on the orange juice tightened. She couldn’t help but secretly glance towards the source of the noise. She saw four or five people gathered around the barbecue stand. Bao Shaojin frowned as he saw the young lady craning her neck around. An Yin guiltily lowered her head, softly replying, "Oh." When they returned to the tent, they saw a man standing at the entrance. The man blocked the tent, and Bao Shaojin said coldly. The man slowly turned his head at the sound, realizing he was looking at someone’s neck at eye level. He looked up slightly, and when he met a pair of icy eyes, he felt a chill down his spine. "Did you buy this tent?" The man forced himself to appear calm, speaking arrogantly. An icy shadow flickered in Bao Shaojin’s eyes, and just as he was about to speak, a surprised voice came from the barbecue stand. An Yin, who had been timidly hiding behind Bao Shaojin, heard someone calling her name and looked over to see a familiar figure. "Huang Yiyi." An Yin called out hesitantly. Huang Yiyi walked towards An Yin, her gaze, however, assessing the man beside her. Once she approached, she respectfully called out, "Mr. Bao." Bao Shaojin kept his expression indifferent and didn’t reply. At this moment, the man blocking the tent saw that his woman was acquainted with the others and broke into a smile, "So we’re all friends here. Perfect, let’s sit together." He said and walked inside on his own. Huang Yiyi saw the man’s overly familiar demeanor and looked embarrassedly at the two in front of her, awkwardly suggesting, "An Yin, shall we sit together?" An Yin’s eyes fluttered lightly, seeing that the man beside her didn’t object, she nodded quietly, "Okay." They all headed into the tent. The few men who were ordering outside were also part of their group and came in shortly after. The previously quiet tent immediately became lively and noisy. "Yiyi, who are these two? I’ve never heard you mention them before." A man with a gold chain around his neck placed a hand on Huang Yiyi’s shoulder, feigning intimacy. The man was not tall, his manner slightly rough, but when he looked at Huang Yiyi, his gaze was exceptionally gentle. "My neighbor, An Yin." Huang Yiyi introduced awkwardly, trying to brush off the hand on her shoulder, but the man held her firmly, so she reluctantly continued, "This is Mr. Bao." The owner brought over plates of hot barbecue one after another to the table. An Yin wasn’t familiar with these people, so she kept her head down, focusing on her food. Bao Shaojin took a sip of mineral water and didn’t touch the barbecue at all. Everyone noticed that this Mr. Bao exuded a subtle sense of aloofness. While the others laughed and chatted freely, he kept his eyes focused on the young lady beside him. His gaze was so intense that even if others tried to make small talk with him, he only responded with a single "Mm," dismissing everyone. Halfway through the meal, apart from Bao Shaojin, all the men had drunk quite a bit. The man with the gold necklace stared drunkenly at the woman beside him, "Yiyi, I really love you, since you’re back home, don’t leave again, okay?" "Let’s get married and have a couple of kids and live a happy life, huh?" As he spoke, he suddenly pulled Huang Yiyi close, making her sit on his lap. "Have kids, have kids..." The friends beside them egged on enthusiastically. Huang Yiyi looked embarrassedly in An Yin’s direction and found her watching, which made her feel even more ashamed. "Stop that." Huang Yiyi said with a cold face. "Baby, don’t be mad, I won’t do it again." The man, drunk and with a red face, spoke with a hint of humility. An Yin had long finished eating, watching the two across from her, seemingly oblivious of others. Her cheeks were pink, and if she recalled correctly, Huang Yiyi was with Young Master Liu, weren’t they? They had even terminated a pregnancy not long ago? "Everyone, we’ll be leaving now." Bao Shaojin said, noticing the young lady’s crumpled little face, aware of her thoughts. "Take care," everyone said. "Take care..." Huang Yiyi echoed. Drunken and tipsy, the group waved symbolically in Bao Shaojin’s direction, considering they weren’t familiar, and Mr. Bao had an aura of nobility and sovereign majesty about him. Interacting with him felt like there was an unbridgeable gap with no topics to connect on. Usually, being boisterous and unruly, tonight they reined themselves in a lot, under the man’s sharp gaze, they felt an inexplicable sense of pressure. As they left, Bao Shaojin went to the stall to settle the bill. "Made you spend again." An Yin didn’t expect him to pay so quickly. "Are you full?" Bao Shaojin changed the subject. "Yes." An Yin glanced at her phone, "It’s already so late." Recently, due to the frequent rain, the ground was always wet. "Get some rest early when you’re home." In the shadowy night, the man’s voice was low. An Yin’s hands clutched tightly at the corners of her clothes, and as the streetlight shone, their shadows stretched long, their arms overlapping. An Yin’s breath hitched, her heart suddenly in a flurry. She was so caught up in her racing thoughts that she hadn’t realized they’d already arrived at her building. "Go on in." Bao Shaojin looked down at her. "Huh?" An Yin snapped her head up, seeing the familiar building, her mind went blank. Was she home already? Wasn’t she supposed to take him to a hotel? This... Should she take him now? An Yin couldn’t bring herself to say it. "Then you go to the hotel to rest." Hearing the man’s voice, An Yin anxiously turned around.
