Yunyi saw his expression and was quite displeased. "What are you looking at?" The man rolled his eyes at her. "Our Vice Factory Director Huo has said that he won’t see any women except his fiancée. Don’t overestimate yourself." Yunyi, observing the man’s expression, didn’t know whether to praise Huo Jingrui or to scold him. If I claimed to be Huo Jingrui’s fiancée now, this man probably wouldn’t believe me, she thought. Yunyi couldn’t be bothered to argue further. "Isn’t there an internal phone line here? Just call him. Tell him I’m Chuyunyi and ask him to come down and get me." The man looked at her suspiciously. Seeing that Yunyi showed no sign of being flustered, he finally made the call, only to be told that the Vice Factory Director was in a meeting. Although Yunyi knew the guard was just doing his job, she was still quite annoyed, and her tone became a bit harsh. "I’ll go deal with other matters first. Call Huo Jingrui later and tell him my name is Chuyunyi. Ask him to come and find me after his meeting is over." After saying this, she turned and left. Her actions left the guard a bit bewildered. Scratching his head, he muttered softly, "Could she really be Vice Factory Director Huo’s fiancée? Why else would she call Vice Factory Director Huo by his full name?" The guard, worried he might have genuinely caused a problem, called again half an hour later, but there was still no answer from the office. Another half-hour passed. When he called again, this time someone answered. "This is Huo Jingrui." The guard hurriedly said, "Vice Factory Director Huo, there was a very beautiful comrade here earlier claiming to be your fiancée, Chuyunyi..." Before he could finish, he heard from the other end of the line, "Let her come up. No, wait, I’ll go get her." The guard panicked. "Vice Factory Director Huo, that comrade has left!" When Huo Jingrui heard that she had left, he became incredibly anxious. "What happened? Why did she leave?" Recalling the instructions he’d given a few days prior, a wave of anxiety hit him. He hung up the phone, grabbed his coat, and headed straight for the main gate, not forgetting to tell his secretary, "I have to go out for a bit." "With all this sweat on my forehead, how could you not guess? You’re asking a question you already know the answer to."
