Robert Reed breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Amelia Wright was fine. He thought that Rose Taylor really couldn’t stay out of trouble. Even after being driven away for so long, she still wanted to cause problems. But after hanging up the phone, Robert Reed still felt uneasy after thinking it over, so he called Matt Rowe and headed towards the Wright family estate. Perhaps Matt Rowe was curious to see what kind of person Amelia Wright was, so he agreed to follow. Amelia Wright noticed Bess Bennett following her and felt that perhaps something good was going to happen, so she kept a smile at the corner of her mouth. The car drove out of the bustling city, slowly heading towards the villa district. There were far fewer people here. From behind, Bess Bennett’s car suddenly accelerated, getting closer and closer. Amelia Wright raised an eyebrow, was Bess Bennett driven mad by her recently? It seemed like she was throwing caution to the wind, wanting to create a car accident in this sparsely populated area, not knowing if she intended to trade life for life, or injury for injury. Amelia Wright’s hand casually rested on the steering wheel as her van sped forward, contemplating these thoughts. Bess Bennett surely wouldn’t be so reckless, would she? Otherwise, in this still cold weather, for her to be wearing a down jacket must be an attempt to better protect herself in the crash, right? But for an inexperienced driver to try and stage a crash with a professional racer like her, wasn’t that a joke? Amelia Wright’s gaze grew colder and colder. Since you’ve come looking for trouble, don’t blame me. Before entering the villa district, there was a winding road. Few people, winding roads, perfect for a car accident. After this stretch, there’d be no chance. Amelia Wright gradually slowed down, and just as she took a turn, Bess Bennett suddenly jerked her steering wheel and changed lanes, accelerating towards her. Instantly, Bess Bennett quickly hugged her head, wearing a thick down jacket, the collision would deploy the airbags, she shouldn’t be too injured. As for Amelia Wright, it’d be best if she died! Such a violent collision aimed directly at Amelia Wright’s driver’s seat, unprepared, even if not dead, she would surely be seriously injured. However, Bess Bennett never expected that the vehicle in front would suddenly accelerate. As if within that one second, it suddenly sped up. She had already driven straight towards it, it was too late to swerve, yet doing so meant she couldn’t crash into Amelia Wright’s driver’s seat, only the van’s rear end. It certainly couldn’t seriously injure Amelia Wright. Bess Bennett screamed. The two cars collided. The two cars seemed to be embedded together at a ninety-degree angle. But Amelia Wright’s driver’s seat was intact, the airbag deployed, her leg was struck, and her arm was scratched by the dashboard ornaments, she underestimated Bess Bennett’s malice, the impact was too great and her body too weak, causing her to faint. Amelia Wright could have easily avoided it, keeping herself unscathed. But she didn’t want to. Bess Bennett wanted her dead; she didn’t want Bess Bennett to live well either! There weren’t many vehicles in the villa area, but the loud crash was enough to attract the attention of nearby people. Rose Taylor was the first to arrive. Rose Taylor was dumbfounded upon seeing the scene. The taxi driver who brought Rose was also stunned, oh my, something really happened, and it’s serious. The taxi driver quickly called for an ambulance. Rose Taylor ran towards Amelia Wright. Her face was pale as she saw Amelia Wright passed out through the window, not knowing where she was injured, seeing blood on her forehead. The front part of the van wasn’t badly damaged, just the door slightly deformed. Rose Taylor tugged forcefully but couldn’t open it. The taxi driver also came over, and the two of them together managed to open the door. Rose Taylor hastily unbuckled Amelia Wright’s seatbelt, dragging and supporting her to get her out. Passing vehicles stopped, and people nearby came over to help upon hearing the commotion. Amelia Wright was rescued, but there was still someone else! The entire person was trapped in the driver’s seat, their condition unknown. Among the rescuers, someone suddenly shouted: "Don’t move her. Her spine is injured, and it seems the artery in her leg is pierced by the front bumper; moving could cause massive blood loss." They were all kind passersby, not professional rescuers, so they dared not move recklessly. They could only wait for fire and ambulance services to arrive. Rose Taylor didn’t care about the rescue over there; she had seen with her own eyes that it was a deliberate collision targeting Amelia Wright. Absolutely deliberate! Rose Taylor used her first aid knowledge to try and wake Amelia Wright. After a while, Amelia Wright did wake up, still feeling a bit dizzy, possibly having a mild concussion. Upon waking, Amelia Wright immediately looked towards Bess Bennett’s side, and seeing that she hadn’t been rescued, she felt reassured. Rose Taylor anxiously asked, "Amelia, are you alright, how are you feeling?" Seeing Rose Taylor in front of her, Amelia Wright was dazed for a while before recognizing her, confused, she asked, "Why are you here?" Rose Taylor stiffened, not speaking. The taxi driver hadn’t left yet and had witnessed the accident firsthand, nor did he move to save Bess Bennett. Hearing Amelia Wright’s question, the driver helped explain: "She followed you all the way, saying there might be danger and begged me to drive faster. Luckily my driving was good and I kept up without falling behind." Amelia Wright looked at Rose Taylor. Rose Taylor, stiffly explained, "Amelia, rest assured, I had no ill intentions this time. I just saw that person following you with bad intentions at the door of Ink Manor. I really didn’t mean any harm." Even though Rose Taylor saved Amelia Wright, she didn’t act like a benefactor, instead, timidly avoiding Amelia’s gaze. Amelia Wright suddenly spoke, "Thank you." Rose Taylor immediately teared up. She had done so much wrong, and just this once she helped, yet she was still thanked. Amelia Wright didn’t know what Rose Taylor was thinking at that moment, as her attention shifted quickly. The firetruck and ambulance arrived, beginning to rescue Bess Bennett. The car front was too badly crushed, in the process of rescue it was inevitable to touch, and Bess Bennett woke up from the pain. Amelia Wright stood up, wobbling as she wanted to go over and take a look. Rose Taylor quickly supported her. Amelia Wright glanced at Rose Taylor, not refusing. Getting closer, Amelia Wright saw Bess Bennett’s situation clearly. Bess Bennett was completely trapped in the seat, her thigh was pierced through, and the worst seemed to be the spine, which was in a grotesquely twisted state. Rescuers dared not move Bess Bennett rashly. They could only proceed with coordinated efforts, rescuing bit by bit. Amelia Wright had studied Chinese medicine for a while in her previous life and was familiar with human anatomy. With such injuries, Bess Bennett would likely be paralyzed for the rest of her life. How fortunate, almost as she expected. She didn’t want Bess Bennett dead, she wanted her to live a fate worse than death and live well to witness everything that was about to happen. After being awakened by pain, Bess Bennett immediately saw Amelia Wright and screamed in agony, "Quickly arrest her, she caused the accident on purpose, she deliberately tried to kill!"
