Chapter 49 Silvy After I left Goof I did exactly as he said. Not because he told me to but because a bubble bath sounded like an incredible idea. And it was. I must have soaked for thirty minutes before I was ready for a nap. I sleep for about three hours before I got up and tidied up the house a little bit. After that, I sat down on the couch with my laptop looking over nursery ideas. I want it done by the time I'm in my eighth month. So the clock is ticking. I had it narrowed it down to two gender-neutral designs. An underwater marine theme and a zoo animals theme. That Goof found me when he came by for dinner. He came in and found me going back and forth between computer windows trying to figure out which one I liked the best. How did Goof get in without me letting him in you ask? Easy, he has a key. I had copies made and gave them to him about a month ago when I figured out he was going to be sticking around. At least for the time being so I figured he should have a key. And Goof doesn't abuse the fact that he has it. Goof sat the food, Chinese takeout, on the table and asked if I needed help. I patted the seat next to me for him to sit down so I can show him. Goof sits beside me and throws his arm around my shoulder. I turn my laptop towards him and point to the first option. The underwater theme. Then I switch tabs to show him the zoo animals. head on his shoulder and say " I can't decide which one I want to use." " Well, we could May my talk it out to see what you like about each one and see if you like one more than the other. Or we could flip a coin." Goof says. gently jab him in the ribs with my elbow. "We can't leave this up to a coin. This must be on the walls for the first five years of our child's life, at least. I want to create a fun and pleasant look." I said. "Okay, babe. Sorry. So tell me what you like about the underwater one." Goof said. I told him I found it calming, and all the different fish made it colorful. Although it could make the room a little dark with all the blue. "Now tell me what you like about the other one," I told him it was bright and cheerful. I liked that it had a variety of animals. But then again so did the marine one. "Well, you could think about it for a few more days. You could point to one at random. Or you could do both." Goof said. I tilt my head up so I could look at him. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You take half the room, like where you are going to put the changing table and dresser and do the zoo animal one. That way the baby starts the day looking at that. And on the other side where you are going to put the crib use the marine so the baby can sleep underwater to dream of riding dolphins." Goof said. I loved it. I gave him a quick kiss on the jaw and said "It is perfect. Should I go ahead and order the stuff to do it?" Goof shakes his head "No, daner first. Then I'm going to call Merigold and get her advice on what to buy." That made perfect sense. If anyone is going to know about paint and stencils, stuff like that it was Merigold. After I agree Goof digs through the bags he brought. He places each carton on the table telling what it is. He brought all of my favorites. Sesame chicken, pork fried rice, cheese wontons, steamed dumplings and egg rolls. However it would be a good idea to edit the previous chapters involving the civil servant bears that were mentioned a couple of times in previous chapters.
