"Being able to unleash Sword Qi is nothing impressive. Take him down." Is unleashing Blade Aura impressive? The answer is, of course. Su Xiao’s Sword Technique Master Lv.21 has cost vast resources, the amount of Soul Crystals consumed is staggering alone. The two sides quickly closed the gap, and just before engaging in close combat, the enemy’s Control Skills attacked. Behind the enemies, there were two long-range fighters: an Ice Mage and an amateur Healer. The so-called amateur Healer is a Support class and Battle class dual-specialist Healer. Although such a Healer’s healing power is not strong, they have some self-protection abilities. Most Healers without a team develop this way. A golden Energy Spear came rushing in, and Su Xiao was about to sidestep to avoid it, but unexpectedly, the spear turned mid-air, heading straight for his chest. Based on Su Xiao’s experience, this was a Control Skill. If he got immobilized now, he’d be hacked to pieces by the Contractors who were about to reach him. Just as the golden Spear was about to hit Su Xiao, his left hand, wrapped in a Metal Armguard, reached for the golden Spear. The golden Spear was full of force, and though it was an energy body, it sparked against Su Xiao’s palm. Su Xiao twisted his body slightly, letting the golden Spear graze his palm until he caught hold of its tail end, tightening his grip sharply. Exerting all his strength, he redirected the golden Spear, sending it flying toward a Contractor on the opposite side. That Contractor’s eyes nearly bulged out in disbelief. Such an action shattered his worldview, his gaze seemed to say, ’Bro, can’t you respect that Control Skill?’ The golden Spear pierced the Contractor’s chest and shattered with a burst, enveloping him in golden Radiance. He became immobilized on the spot. Su Xiao lunged forward, his right arm’s muscles slightly bulging, and swung his blade towards the immobilized Contractor. The long knife slit through the air with a whimper, and the Contractor’s eyes widened in horror. With a bizarre cry, the Contractor’s head was sent flying. Just after beheading an enemy, a broad-backed Giant Knife came crashing down. Su Xiao raised his blade to block, planting his legs slightly apart. Cracks appeared on the stone beneath Su Xiao’s feet, and his legs bent slightly. He could withstand the slash, but he was using resistance here, evident by the cracks on the ground. While he could withstand it nonchalantly, that would be a foolish move that would slightly harm the body. Having absorbed the force, Su Xiao lifted his left leg, delivering a straight kick to the opposing Contractor’s shin. Su Xiao felt it was like breaking a branch, and the two-meter-tall burly man stared wide-eyed, looking down at his leg. His shinbone was broken, the bone protruding from the muscle of his leg. The brief agonized scream was abruptly cut off as a long knife pierced the man’s jaw, poking through the back of his head. Su Xiao quickly withdrew his knife, taken a step back nimbly. A War Hammer slammed into the spot where Su Xiao had just been standing, rubble spraying as a Contractor wielding a half-meter thick War Hammer glared at him. Su Xiao squinted slightly, knowing it wouldn’t be pleasant to be hit by that, possibly fatal. Yet, the opponent was too cumbersome, making it unlikely to hit him. The sound of the wind came, and Su Xiao sliced sideways with his knife. Crack, an Ice Cone was shattered, ice shards scattering, as a man wearing an icy blue Mage robe looked at Su Xiao from ten meters away. The Ice Mage tapped the ground with his Magic Wand, and an Array appeared beneath Su Xiao. A thin layer of ice spread to Su Xiao’s legs in an instant, all happening within a blink. Seeing Su Xiao immobilized, the Contractors on the bridge rejoiced, especially the Contractor holding the Big Hammer, laughing bonkously. The Big Hammer, at a height of about two meters and a half, wielded an exceptionally intimidating Black Iron Stick, and although cumbersome, his Attack Power was undeniable. The Big Hammer charged at Su Xiao, but only after taking two steps did his spine shiver, instinctively slowing his pace. Su Xiao had already sheathed the Dragon Slash, holding the hilt with one hand, his face smiling, waiting for other Contractors to approach. The Contractors around Su Xiao felt chilled to the bone, even the Ice Mage retreated several steps. The enemy didn’t approach; instead, they showed signs of fleeing, disappointing Su Xiao somewhat. The Dragon Slash was unsheathed, and a circular Blade Aura spread rapidly around, the blue Blade Aura was thin but exceptionally sharp, spreading at incredible speed. The Ice Mage and the other five Contracted fell prone by instinct, while the Big Hammer tripped during his escape, crashing onto the ground unceremoniously. The circular Blade Aura dispersed over ten meters, disappearing into the air. The fleeing Contractors remained in their frozen postures, blood seeping from their lips. Blood lines appeared on their chests and backs, slowly staining their clothes. Thud, a Contractor above the chest fell to the ground, his arms severed from the shoulder. The sound of bodies hitting the ground continued, as Su Xiao exhaled deeply, the soreness in his arm muscles gradually easing. ’Ring Break’ can only be used three times a day, not joking. Beyond that, his arm would need a few days to recover, during which he can’t wield a knife. The fallen Contractors began standing up, swallowing hard, realizing they had faced a fierce opponent on the bridge, a big catch. Cracks appeared in the thin ice encasing Su Xiao’s lower body. The ice layer shattered, freeing Su Xiao again. Although his legs felt somewhat numb from the cold, he still rushed towards the Ice Mage briskly. The other five Contractors hesitated for a moment, and three of them looked at Su Xiao with firm determination, knowing they must kill him, or all would die here. Surrender is impossible; running means they’d be easily picked off by snipers, no chance of escape. Yet, not everyone thought this way. Two Contractors exchanged a glance and rushed to the edge of the Stone Bridge, leaping off. Google seaʀᴄh 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝※𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖※𝕟𝕖𝕥 Beneath was a thousand-foot cliff; without Flying ability, surviving such a fall was unlikely. But these two Contractors were different, their clothes were modified for gliding. The two glided towards the depths of the cliff, and looking closely at their faces, one could see they bore a strong resemblance. If not twin brothers, then there was definitely some blood relation. Out of the dozen or so Contractors blocking the bridge, only four remained. The rest were dead or had fled. The four were the male Ice Mage, the female Healer, the two-and-a-half-meter giant with the Big Hammer, and the Gloomy Leader. The Gloomy Leader wielded a Black Iron Stick, and after Su Xiao used ’Ring Break’, he too felt like jumping off the cliff. The female Healer had already begun to flee, but her short legs weren’t fast. The Big Hammer was fierce, charging headlong at Su Xiao, with such a straightforward gaze, his intelligence could not be high. The Ice Mage, meanwhile, was prepared to fight for his life because Su Xiao was charging towards him. The Ice Mage exuded a chilling aura, likely having activated a High-level Ability, with his Combat strength surging. Just as the Ice Mage prepared to turn into a Cannon, Su Xiao suddenly vanished from his sight.
