Chapter 20 " I didn't actually pass out , I reminded him . " You barely hit me . " His eyes shifted , his body going rigid as his wolf took over partially . The wolf's voice spoke through the human's mouth . " Female , I did as you asked . Now do as I ask . " The eyes remained until I nodded reluctantly . Then , instead of giving control back to Knockout , the wolf took over completely and Knockout shifted . I gave the happy , bloody wolf one last pat on the head before climbing up on Knockout's wolf's back . Like all the other rejected men , the calico wolf needed a name but had no one to name him . Maybe when I learned Knockout's real name , I'd suggest a few ideas and see if his wolf liked any of them . Everyone needed a name , after all . grabbed fistfuls of his fur to hold on .
