The human opposite wielded twin swords and glanced mockingly at the Great Demon. In this fatal situation, the Great Demon looked around, drew its sword but did not attack; its originally red body now seemed somewhat pale. It had no idea why Fate had brought it before this bloodthirsty creature. Was it itself? Yes, it was the first to agree to the Wizard’s proposal for a championship duel, meaning, even if the opponent refused, the subordinates would see it as weakness and cowardice. But the opponent agreed! Emerging was a guy who made everyone shudder with fear in Westland! How is he in Thainan? Can this world no longer have joyful games?! Was it the Wizard? Yes, that damned Wizard, how could he trust this guy’s one-sided story. If only it had known the opponent had this one! The Great Demon was certain it would have immediately opened a channel to escape! That thing only fit for plotting and scheming would undoubtedly have done so... Then whose fault was it? The Great Demon asked itself. The shout from the bloodthirsty monster made the Great Demon lift its head, and the last thing it saw were the two longswords coming closer and closer. The Great Demon wanted to move, but found itself unable to; branches from the ground extended outward, binding its legs tightly. And in the next second, the Great Demon let out a roar as the double swords pierced through its eyes, and it fell heavily to the ground, facing the sky. Ah, am I going to die? Well, going back to Subspace, trying hard again, I can still reach the peak of my demon life. With such thoughts, the Great Demon found itself not returning to Subspace but instead appearing in a world full of imprisonments, with a skeletal Lich sitting on a throne watching it. At its feet, endless machinery was forging countless souls. The Great Demon recognized those gold coins, they were... Soul Coins. "Your Highness is truly considerate of their subordinates. You see, as your leader, following Your Highness is so joyous, you all know that." That Lich shouted loudly towards the Liches working in front of the assembly line, then looked up at the Great Demon. Though faceless and skinless, this guy seemed to smile at the Great Demon. "Once you’re here, don’t think too much, take a tour of my coin factory, and then tell me what style of coins you like." What?! As the Great Demon, am I scared of a Lich like you?! Then the Great Demon found itself lifted... Wait, what’s going on, why have I shrunk?! Why, being lifted, do I have to look up at this damned Undead! Then the Great Demon found itself transformed into a Soul Orb, packed with countless others into a box, and lifted by a Lich who placed it on the assembly line. "This is a Great Demon’s soul, you, the newbie, take it to the third production line." Selecting the Great Demon’s Soul Orb from the box, the Lich said so. Meanwhile, it tossed the Great Demon, who struggled to clear its dizziness, only to find itself placed alone on a conveyor belt. From its view, it saw the souls on the opposite line being cast into thin sheets, with machinery carving one round chip after another, and farther away, Liches collected the sheets full of circular holes into boxes. As the assembly line moved, the Great Demon watched as a Ghoul pushed that box towards what looked like a furnace. The furnace had a banner crafted from words, unfamiliar to the Great Demon, yet these words resonated in its mind like maxims. "Never Waste a Single Penny." And as the thin sheets underwent a row of machinery’s compression, pressing, and template molding, they transformed into gold coins. In the sorting area ahead, Banshees picked out coins from the assembly line, while scraps left on the line were swept into other wooden boxes by Banshees, ultimately pushed by Ghouls towards the furnace once again. The Great Demon could see the pot atop the furnace had been swapped, the new pot placed on top, the scraps and numerous souls poured inside, and the old furnace removed, coming to a funnel-like opening, its mouth tilted, soul liquid poured into a machine’s entry, then turned into a tangible soul bar, and after going through a press section, turned back into thin sheets. This damned place! This damned Lich! It turned souls into a metallic existence, every soul in front of its machinery was crushed to bits! No! How could such Soul Coins ever be called Soul Coins! "Welcome to My Lord’s coin factory, honorable Prince, you see, these are our newest products, refined souls, clean, pure, free of any pollution." Not far away, a Lich was introducing those coins being poured back onto the assembly line to a Vampire and a Celestial being adorned with long feathered headdress. "A very nice factory, both these coins and your master have left a very deep impression on me." The Celestial being spoke while noticing the situation with the Great Demon, pointing this way. "Where is that solitary soul going?" "It is the soul of a Great Demon, a reward given to my master by your master." The Lich spoke with a sense of pride, pointing towards the Great Demon. "It’s here to witness the souls of its fellow Chaos litter being crushed, mixed, remanufactured, ultimately becoming the finest Soul Coins."
