"Good heavens, where did this tiger come from!" Grandma Cui over there, who had initially had a grip on Shen Qiuyang’s henchmen, couldn’t help but let go and started scrambling away in terror, running straight toward Grandma Cui. Grandma Cui, with a greedy look on her face, said, "This beast’s fur is rather nice, what’s there to fear? With so many of us here, can’t we handle just one of them? Get moving, let’s all go at once, slaughter this beast, and skin it!" Da Bai, who lived on Taihang Mountain, was greatly revered for his tiger authority and was extremely human-like in understanding. It was as though he understood. He growled fiercely toward Grandma Cui, and with that growl, the bag that had been in his mouth dropped to the ground. Instead of recoiling, Grandma Cui spat out a mouthful of saliva disdainfully: "Ptui, this beast dares to bully me, the Old Lady!" Afterward, Grandma Cui led her henchmen in a charge towards Da Bai. Dong Huiying, witnessing this scene, crinkled her little face. Picking up a few pebbles, she hurled them swiftly with ’whoosh, whoosh, whoosh’ sounds, using the pebbles as darts to hit the acupoints of Grandma Cui and the others. They fell to the ground one by one with a series of ’plop, plop’ sounds, including Grandma Cui, all sprawling inelegantly on the ground. Dong Huiying walked toward Da Bai, grabbed the nape of his neck with her small hand, pinching his fur and lifted the whole tiger up. "Look at you, why can’t you be a bit more successful? See how you’ve scared people?" After saying that, she coughed and looked apologetically at Shen Qiuyang: "Sister, are you alright?" "I’m fine..." Shen Qiuyang was in a dreamlike state. This really was too much of a roller coaster. When she was captured by Grandma Cui and the others, she had pretty much given up hope. Then this tiger leapt out, and she was even more stunned. But now, seeing the fierce White Tiger acting like a cat getting its fur ruffled in front of the young girl, only able to open its mouth and roar a couple of times, yet unable to break free, she wondered how the little girl managed to restrain it. Dong Huiying extended a hand to pull Shen Qiuyang up. She glanced at the bag on the ground, which had originally been tied around Shen Qiuyang’s waist, and her little face became even more embarrassed. "Ahem, Sister, may I ask what’s in this bag of yours? My Da Bai seems to really like it. I wonder if you could part with it? Don’t worry, I’ll pay you Silver!" Who would have dreamed that this tiger named Da Bai actually came for her bag? "No, no, no, it’s just some dried meat. You like it, so take it." Shen Qiuyang quickly picked up the bag and handed it to Dong Huiying. The tiger’s eyes gleamed as Dong Huiying inwardly called him a ’gluttonous tiger’ in embarrassment. "Ahem, then thank you." However, to return the favor, she turned to Grandma Cui and the others, "May I ask who these people are?" Shen Qiuyang spoke with a stern expression: "I have an impertinent request. These people sought to take my life; may I deal with them myself?" Dong Huiying glanced at Shen Qiuyang, and then at Grandma Cui and the others whom she had hit on their acupoints, and shrugged, "I know nothing, I saw nothing, I didn’t see you today either." With a slight smile, she then hoisted Da Bai on her slender shoulders, carrying the bag of dried meat Shen Qiuyang had given her, and walked lightly into the woods. Shen Qiuyang was momentarily taken aback, but couldn’t help but be amused. This young girl was interesting... But as her gaze shifted, she turned to Grandma Cui and the rest. She tore off their belts to use as ropes, tied up their hands and feet, and then dragged them back to her own little cabin on the mountain.
