The kidnappers were becoming restless. They thought tonight would be a big payday, but after waiting so long, they hadn’t spotted even a shadow of Hugo Quinn, nor had they received a phone call. Sienna Jenkins was also getting anxious. She had promised the kidnappers she would fetch a considerable sum of money, yet now she seemed forgotten, with no one coming to rescue her. "Let’s wait a bit longer; maybe someone is about to arrive." As she spoke, her voice trembled, and her lips grew pale. The kidnappers cursed under their breath, staying put, and attempted to call Hugo Quinn. But the call was hung up, and their tempers flared, almost causing them to jump to their feet, slapping Sienna Jenkins across the face. Sienna’s head whipped to the side from the blow, and blood immediately appeared at the corner of her mouth. The worse they treated her, the more resentment Sienna harbored towards Eleanor Hollis because this was all Eleanor’s doing. If Eleanor weren’t close to Hugo Quinn, Sienna would not have resorted to this plan. "I’ll tell you, if nobody comes tonight, you’ll just wait to be sold elsewhere!" Sienna saw the viciousness in the kidnappers’ faces and was too frightened to speak. She couldn’t reach her brother; his phone was continuously unanswered. Calls to Hugo Quinn and Eleanor Hollis were always cut off; she felt like a joke, a colossal joke. Another hour passed, and the kidnappers, finally enraged, punched Sienna straight in the stomach. "I think you’re just playing us! Damn slut!" Sienna gasped in pain, clutching her stomach, unable to speak, the agony causing tears to fall from her eyes. "Save my baby, please, save my baby..." She sensed the baby was in real danger and needed urgent help! But the kidnappers just glanced at each other before unleashing more slaps on her. "Slut! This is the price of deceiving us! I’ll tell you, we’ll sell you soon enough!" Sienna knelt on the ground, disheveled, her cheeks swollen, hair disarrayed. The men cursed as they dragged her into a vehicle, making calls to sell her off to Africa. Sienna curled up in fear, filled with hatred and dread. Eleanor, I won’t spare you even as a ghost!! Sienna thought this as she bit until her tongue bled. Help, somebody save her, she didn’t want to be sold to Africa. The car shook violently, tilting to one side. Hope rekindled in Sienna’s eyes. Could it be Hugo had arrived? Had he come to save her? She was pulled out by two men, strangers to her. She couldn’t describe her feelings as they led her to another car. As the door opened, she saw Eleanor Hollis sitting inside, calm and relaxed, as if she’d been waiting forever to witness Sienna’s humiliation. "Eleanor Hollis?! I’ll kill you!!" Sienna’s eyes burned red with fury. In her dire state, Eleanor still intended to mock her. Ashley Dawson frowned slightly, ordering someone to tie Sienna up. "You think I’m Eleanor Hollis? Sienna, Sienna, if not for me tonight, you’d have been sold off already. Eleanor wouldn’t save you, nor would Hugo Quinn. As for your brother, he’s probably pleasing his patron now; you’re just a pitiful soul nobody cares about." Sienna trembled, tears cascading down. She noticed this woman was also pregnant. Eleanor couldn’t possibly be pregnant. Ashley said nonchalantly, closing the car door, driving away swiftly. ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ɪs ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʙʏ 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹•𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑒•𝙣𝙚𝙩 Sienna sobbed in fear, her face marked by finger imprints, truly a pitiful sight. Ashley glanced at her indifferently, a smirk on her lips. Once at her residence, she had someone escort Sienna inside. Sienna, exhausted and like a startled bird, covered half of her face, trembling on the sofa. Soon, a doctor arrived to examine her, brows furrowed in concern. "Miss Dawson, this young lady is pregnant, but the placenta is unstable; the child cannot be saved. Once the pregnancy progresses, it will naturally miscarry." Sienna wiped her tears, startled by the doctor’s words, and looked up in shock. "Impossible! I’ve been staying at the hospital recently. If there were truly issues with my baby, they would have informed me!" She stopped abruptly. The hospital was arranged by Hugo Quinn. If the baby had problems, the doctors would only inform Hugo; in everyone’s eyes, she was merely a vessel. Sienna couldn’t pinpoint her emotions; hatred was sprouting like wild vines—she wished to destroy everything there, to destroy Eleanor Hollis. But without her child as a bargaining chip, how could she contend with Eleanor? Ashley observed her transformation, well aware that one wrapped in hatred could resort to anything. "Sienna, don’t you see? You’re just an insignificant vessel to Hugo Quinn and Eleanor Hollis. Since the vessel’s contents are spoiled, no one will care about you; Eleanor likely wishes for your early demise." Sienna’s palm oozed blood, eyes wide with desperation, ready to confront Eleanor! Ashley saw her instigation had succeeded, raising her brows in satisfaction. "If you want revenge, I can help." Sienna’s thoughts were consumed by revenge; recalling the night’s ordeal, she yearned to tear Eleanor to shreds! Ashley stroked her belly, an action further provoking Sienna, who turned away, gritting her teeth fiercely. "Seeking revenge isn’t difficult. Now, Eleanor probably believes you’re dead; she won’t guard against you." Sienna lowered her head, having no desire left to return alive; if it meant Eleanor’s death, she’d do anything! "For revenge, you need only a knife and determination. Sienna, if you wish, nothing’s out of reach." Sienna stayed silent, lips pressed tight, her stomach aching intensely. "Rest here until your health recovers. Someone will attend to your needs; once you’re better, leave immediately—I want no involvement when Eleanor learns about this." Sienna nodded, deeply grateful to her. Despite the identical face, Ashley Dawson was so kind, while Eleanor was utterly vile! Eleanor indeed believed Sienna was dead, having heard the car met with an accident and went up in flames, incinerating everyone inside. Sienna and the kidnappers, all trapped in the vehicle, not a single one escaped.
