And then he just slightly turned his body to the side and avoided the attack! Raye thrust his sword forward and stabbed the orc's left thigh! The orc screamed in pain. Raye swung his sword down while it was still lunged in the orc's thigh, opening a big cut wound there! 'Ivan's sword is still sharp even after a hundred years, huh,' And then it started raging, slamming its fists all over the place! Luckily, Raye retreated quickly and wasn't hit by any of them. The orc didn't stop attacking everything in its vicinity. It was like a spoiled child having a tantrum. Raye groaned and frowned. He clapped his hands in front of him... And then he activated one of his skills—the fire bow and arrow! And after carefully aiming at the raging orc... Raye let out a deep breath. And then he released the fire arrow! It hit the orc on its right shoulder and exploded on impact! A small shockwave was created! The place where the orc stood before was covered in dust clouds! Raye just looked at it, waiting for the dust to settle so he could see the orc's condition. But as he was doing so... Raye heard an enraged scream inside the dust cloud! A tree trunk came flying in his direction! With his eyes widened... He rolled to the side on the ground to avoid the tree! But as soon as he did... The orc came out of the dust cloud and rushed at him while he was still on the ground! Raye exclaimed, trying to get up as quickly as possible. But before he could fully stand... And it launched a heavy right hook! Out of desperation... Raye thought, pouring mana into the silver ring on his left hand! And immediately after doing so... It transformed into a beautiful small white shield! And it blocked the orc's attack! Raye still felt the force behind the attack! And it sent him flying away into the air! Raye mumbled after being flung up. The orc roared with a crazed smile on its face. It was waiting below for Raye to come down! Raye transformed the Wallace Family Treasure into a gauntlet covering his entire left arm while still in the air! And following that... He pointed his index finger at the orc... The orc punched upward with its right hand! Their attacks collided, making a weird sound! Raye's attack was deflected! He was pushed back... So he landed on the ground awkwardly. "Its strength is such a cheat!" Raye exclaimed, glaring at the orc. By now, his mana was nearing its limit. His left arm ached from blocking the orc's earlier attack. He was starting to feel tired too. After all, Raye had just fought Chris and Ivan earlier... Raye took a back stance. "I'll finish this now..." Gusts of wind surrounded his legs... Opening a large wound on the orc's neck! The orc was shocked to feel blood gushing from his neck! And with its attention diverted... Raye immediately stabbed his sword into the orc's heart! Raye set the orc's insides on fire! And with a pained expression, Raye smiled... "I won, you fucking monster." And then he declared that! "Ugh, I got dirty again." I grumbled as I pulled my sword out of the body of the dead orc. The orc was like charcoal now. I burned its body pretty hard because of how annoyed I felt remembering what it did back then. No blood spilled on my white shirt, fortunately. It was just soil and dust, so I patted it clean. The blood, well, it was caught by the cape Old Man Rey gave me. I looked at my left arm, where the pain was coming from. And then I saw it—bent! I transformed the gauntlet back into a ring. My left arm was broken as fuck after blocking two direct attacks from the orc! My left shoulder was dislocated as well! —That looks like it hurts. Zephyrus appeared out of thin air and commented. Then Pyro followed, agreeing with him. After that, Pyro looked at the orc I had just killed. And with a small, cute frown on his face... Pyro started shouting at its dead body. I thought, watching him do that. Though, I understand why he was so angry at the orc. After resting for a bit and popping my left shoulder back into place... I made small and simple graves for Timmy, Reggie, and the other escorts. Pyro and I prayed for their peaceful rest. Zephyrus joined us as well. And after finishing that... I kicked off the ground and started dashing away from the area. My legs were covered in gusts of wind that blasted the ground with each kick, significantly increasing my speed and letting me cover far distances in one step. Back to the nameless village where we and the others rested before entering the forest. 'I need to find civilization.' So, with that in mind... I increased my speed even more.
