Mou Qi's tall, slender frame was clad in flowing white robes that accentuated his slightly delicate bearing and refined features. The instant he descended through the special passage, he could sense Han Yi's Dao emanating from the starry expanse born of Pang Jian's Immortal Divine Soul. At once, he concluded that there had to be some connection between the two. Han Yi's Dao of Cold was one he was intimately familiar with. After all, he had played a major role in helping her rise to the rank of a mid-ranking God. He had always thought of Han Yi as exclusively his, someone he would never allow another to claim. This thought did not change, even after Sovereign Luo chose Han Yi to become one of her subordinates. "Human brat from the Abyss, what method did you use to steal Han Yi's Dao of Cold?" Though enraged, Mou Qi forced himself to stay composed. He no longer accused Han Yi and Pang Jian of secretly consorting. Instead, he insisted that Pang Jian had stolen her Dao of Cold through dishonorable means. Framing it this way would allow Han Yi to avoid being implicated and continue to hold her place among the Outer Gods. In Mou Qi's possessive heart, Han Yi still belonged to him. If she were to be branded with the crime of consorting with a human, she would be utterly ruined. "High-ranking God of the Spirit Race." The five elements of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, as well as lightning and cold, each formed into distinct sectors within the brilliant starry expanse. Storms with conscious will churned across these various regions. It was as if Pang Jian had a soul stationed in each sector, looking to break the God of Wisdom's restrictions. A wisp of shadow, forged from divine sense, appeared in the starry skies, gazing silently at the three Gods of the Spirit Race. It was one of the many fragments of Pang Jian's dispersed Immortal Divine Soul. He had transformed his Immortal Divine Soul into a vast starry expanse, feeling out the God of Wisdom's restrictions, as he attempted to shatter the invisible barriers and reestablish connection with his physical body. So long as a connection could be formed, he could tear open a spatial rift and return to the Abyss with ease. At the very least, he could retrieve the Thunder Pool and demonic cloak to face the three Gods of the Spirit Race head-on. Fu Ya's aloof voice echoed just as Pang Jian released his divine sense. Pang Jian saw a faint, trickling river forming a ring around him, Mou Qi, and the others, enclosing their pocket of space like a seamless loop. The river was formless and colorless. Neither the naked eye nor divine power could perceive it. Only through divine sense could the river's true form be glimpsed. His will was eroded the moment his divine sense came into contact with the river. A strange power reduced it to pure soul essence for the river to absorb. "Our Lord's River of Wisdom can sharpen our minds and dissolve yours, so stop wasting your time." The high-ranking God named Cang Feng stood imposingly in his gleaming silver armor. With a hearty laugh, he summoned his longbow. Drawing it fully, the bow devoured energy from the surrounding area like a vortex, condensing it into a gleaming silver arrow. "Let me break the starry expanse you've conjured." Cang Feng's radiant Divine Persona emerged from between his brows. Rays of light streamed out from the Divine Persona and into the silver arrow, imbuing it with the insights of his Dao. The profound mysteries of the four compatible forces of wind, lightning, cloud, and rain poured into the silver arrow. Though small, the arrow blazed like a sun, releasing waves of energy so powerful they shook the souls of those who beheld it. Cang Feng released the arrow. It shot straight toward the starry expanse that was Pang Jian's Immortal Divine Soul, piercing into one domain after another. The silver arrow exploded with a muffled boom. Storms raged through the clouded expanse, dragging streaks of lightning behind them as apocalyptic rain fell. Thunder roared and tempests raged with world-shattering might. Strands of Heavenly Dao wove into each other like arcs of lightning, stabilizing the strange world that had burst into being from the silver arrow's detonation. That terrifying world ground and destroyed everything it touched. Pang Jian's Wood Thunder, Water Thunder, Fire Thunder, and Earth Thunder were the first to be crushed under Cang Feng's Dao. Only Metal Thunder, several vortexes, and a frigid starry river remained unharmed from the arrow's onslaught. This proved that Pang Jian's comprehension of the Daos of Metal, Lightning, and Cold was not inferior to Cang Feng. "A human, and only in the Transcendent God Realm too," remarked Mu Ya, Cang Feng's companion. Narrowing her eyes, she said admiringly, "Truly extraordinary. They say the True Gods of the human race are formidable. I always thought that was just Sovereign Luo exaggerating, but now I see it for myself." As a recent ascendant to the ranks of the high-ranking Gods, her years were still few, and she had never fought against a True God. In truth, those relentlessly hunting down the True Gods of the human race had mainly been Sovereign Luo and those under her command, with occasional assistance from the God of Space. Mu Ya had long served under the God of Wisdom and had little involvement with humans. After all, the God of Wisdom had never paid them much attention. Thus, she had previously believed that the True Gods of the human race were far inferior to the Nether Gods. After seeing Pang Jian's might, however, her view shifted sharply. "He's a youngster whose name has only just begun to spread, yet he managed to put that ancient ape at a disadvantage in the Nether Abyss. Even Sovereign Luo finds him troublesome in the Abyss. "Pang Jian..." Mu Ya muttered. A dreamlike shimmer stirred within her eyes. One fantastical world after another bloomed under her gaze. These strange worlds appeared near the one created from the arrow's explosion, devouring the lightning-wreathed, frost-laced, and gold-lit starry rivers. Pang Jian suddenly felt himself splintering. His scattered divine powers, his Heavenly Daos, and his divine sense felt as though they were split across different timespaces. What once flowed in harmony now felt disjointed. Mu Ya had joined forces with Cang Feng to dismantle Pang Jian's Immortal Divine Soul. Streams of radiant light surged inward within the shattered remnants of the starry expanse. Lightning, icy brilliance, golden light, flowing rivers, darkness, stars, the sun, and the moons fused together to reform Pang Jian's resplendent Immortal Divine Soul. Though Pang Jian's Immortal Divine Soul still radiated a prismatic radiance and exuded an unyielding presence, none of the energies split from him could escape the River of Wisdom. Not one managed to break through Fu Ya's restriction. Mou Qi, standing as the rear guard, watched from afar with a cold expression. "Pang Jian, you can't escape. The Transcendent God Realm is on par with a high-ranking God, but you've only just stepped into it. "Moreover, you're alone against three high-ranking Gods. Each of us has been in this realm for years. Tell me, how could you possibly win?" A sneer tugged at the corner of Mou Qi's lips as he caught the faint cries of the Rock Devourer. "Pang Jian, that Rank Twelve Rock Devourer will never escape our Lord's grasp, and neither will you."
