Tracy can't touch you now. "Rebecca's gone, and that's that. Mr. Wells, you've got a line of women waiting to be your bride." Thomas's reaction was swift and fierce-he grabbed Chloe by the hair. Chloe's scream sliced through the air, "Sorry! I'm so sorry, Mr. Wells, I shouldn't have said that!" "You! If it weren't for my plan to push Rebecca away, I wouldn't bother with you or your sorry bunch. You really thought you were the queen bee ---- of the Wells family, didn't you?" Thomas spat out the words before releasing her hair, sending Chloe crashing to the floor. He crouched down, his hand gripping her throat. " We're not done here. "You caused that car crash and spent years worming your way in, thinking I'd never catch on. It was you who set Rebecca up, wasn't it?" Thomas's voice was a cutting blade. Chloe shook with terror. ''When did you figure it out?" Thomas grimaced as he wiped away the spot where Chloe's fingers had grazed him. He dialed a number with purpose. He reached out to the most infamous mental institution. Before long, a team arrived and whisked Chloe away. ---- Chloe's voice echoed in desperation, ''Thomas! Please, no! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to run into you! Spare me, please!" Once Chloe was gone, Thomas entered my room. There, on the cabinet, lay the divorce papers I had already signed. He picked them up, his gaze fixed on the box labeled [Rebecca].
