Now that Unika and the rest of the PES are back, and admittedly preparing for another excursion, I have the peace of mind to open some packs. I’ll do ten packs each of Order of Chaos, Galactic Overlord and Return of the Duelist. Starting with Order of Chaos, naturally. Star Light, Star Bright; Trance Archfiend; Photon Leo; Upstart Golden Ninja; Kurivolt; Galaxy Wave; Full-Force Strike; Shrine of Mist Valley; Inzektor Axe - Zektahawk Well, I did get a super rare in the first pack, but I already had Zektahawk. And Shrine of Mist Valley. And all the other cards. So nothing new here. Interplanetarypurplythorny Dragon; Zenmailstrom; Variable Form; Evoltile Pleuro; Galaxy Storm; Sweet Corn; Xyz Burst; Numen erat Testudo; Ninjitsu Art of Duplication Ninjitsu Art of Duplication is new. And as a card, it isn’t all that good. But as a potential install, it might be extremely broken. If it gives a skill that lets you make some sort of shadow clones, it would be really useful. So I’ll look into that. Xyz Burst; Variable Form; Photon Leo; Trance Archfiend; Double Defender; Dicephoon; Photon Crusher; Danipon; Gagagaguard Nothing new here, next. Dicephoon; Divine Dragon Apocralyph; Photon Circle; Counterforce; Wind-Up Honeybee; Star Light, Star Bright; Evolsaur Elias; Upstart Golden Ninja; Evo-Instant Nothing new here, next. Degen-Force; Full-Force Strike; Wind-Up Honeybee; Interplanetarypurplythorny Dragon; Evolsaur Terias; Dicephoon; Koalo-Koala; White Night Queen; Evo-Force Nothing new here, next. Zenmailstrom; Air Armor Ninja; Trance Archfiend; Galaxy Wave; Counterforce; Koalo-Koala; Inzektor Ant; Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity; Inzektor Dragonfly Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity is new. And it special summons monsters from the deck, which is one of the best effects for my use. Sadly it only specials Wind-Up monsters, so the pool is limited, but still nice. Wind-Up Honeybee; Variable Form; Interplanetarypurplythorny Dragon; Evo-Branch; Dark Mambele; Photon Circle; Numen erat Testudo; Flame Armor Ninja; Weights & Zenmaisures Nothing new here, next. Divine Dragon Apocralyph; Flame Armor Ninja; Trance Archfiend; Masked Ninja Ebisu; The Huge Revolution is Over; Darklon; Degen-Force; Shocktopus; Inzektor Orb Nothing new here, next. Inzektor Centipede; Primordial Soup; Air Armor Ninja; Evolsaur Terias; Darklon; Sweet Corn; Earth Armor Ninja; Numen erat Testudo; Weights & Zenmaisures Nothing new here, next. Darklon; Full-Force Strike; Inzektor Ant; Inzektor Centipede; Degen-Force; Interplanetarypurplythorny Dragon; Numen erat Testudo; Dark Mambele; Weights & Zenmaisures And nothing new here. Also, Order of Chaos really wants me to have copies of Weights & Zenmaisures. I got three of them in the last four packs. And it is a rare. Now let’s change sets and hope that Galactic Overlord is better for me. Blade Bounzer; Inzektor Ladybug; Storm; Aquamirror Cycle; Nimble Manta; Bright Star Dragon; Falling Current; Swallowtail Butterspy; Lightray Gearfried Inzektor Ladybug is … an Inzektor. Nothing amazing, but not bad either. Then again, I’ve never really used Inzektors and I don’t know the deck, so it might actually be good for the common Inzektor strategies. And Storm sucks. I can just use Heavy Storm. Or Feather Duster. Or MST. Constellar Belt; Wattaildragon; Xyz Wrath; Blade Bounzer; Commander of Swords; Inzektor Gauntlet; Gamushara; Inzektor Earwig; Lightray Diabolos Lightray Diabolos is new. And it is decent. Good stats and it specials itself. The effect isn’t the best, but I suppose there are times when you’d use it. Inzektor Gauntlet; Lady of D.; Sealing Ceremony of Raiton; Red-Headed Oni; Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord; Hieratic Dragon of Nuit; Nomadic Force; Hieratic Seal of Supremacy; Ancient Dragon Lady of D., other than having a terrible name, isn’t a bad monster. The protection it gives dragons is not bad at all. Red-Headed Oni is not an oni. It is a blood bat. And in terms of usability, it is somewhere between okay and bad. And Ancient Dragon is almost amazing. Sadly its effect only activates if it attacks directly. If it activated whenever Ancient Dragon does battle damage, I think Ancient Dragon would be much better. Hieratic Seal of the Dragon King; That Wacky Magic!; Mini-Guts; Wattaildragon; Moonlit Papillon; Hieratic Dragon of Su; Bright Star Dragon; Gamushara; Final Inzektion Final Inzektion is a one sided field nuke. But you have to tribute 5 Inzektor cards for it. In short, it is too expensive for actual use and I have easier board wipes. Falling Current; Moonlit Papillon; Hieratic Seal of Supremacy; Morpho Butterspy; Swallowtail Butterspy; Hieratic Seal of the Dragon King; Lightray Daedalus; Hammer Shark; Inzektor Exa-Stag Hammer is good enough. And Inzektor Exa-Stag has the potential to have a ton of attack, but it sadly is a Rank 5 monster. If it was a rank 4, it might be worth it, but for a Rank 5, it is too difficult to summon considering that all you get is attack numbers. Aquamirror Cycle; Evolsaur Darwino; Overlay Eater; Gamushara; Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord; Xyz Wrath; Nimble Manta; Morpho Butterspy; Rocket Arrow Express Overlay Eater is not something I can use. Nothing really has Xyz material, except my monsters, so what would I use it on? And Rocket Arrow Express is a train with 5k attack. Sure it has a massive maintenance cost, but I can manage that. And I just want to ram a rocket powered train into a powerful monster, because I think it would be funny. Thᴇ link to the origɪn of this information rᴇsts ɪn NoveI-Fire.ɴet Inzektor Ladybug; Gamushara; Doom Donuts; Moonlit Papillon; Commander of Swords; Bright Star Dragon; Blade Bounzer; Evolsaur Darwino; Evo-Diversity Evo-Diversity is a searcher, so it is nice. Hieratic Dragon of Eset; Aquamirror Cycle; Gamushara; Overlay Owl; Bounzer Guard; Phantom Bounzer; Berserk Scales; Evo-Price; Evoltile Elginero Bounzer Guard does a lot of things, focuses attacks on the targeted monster, makes it untargetable by card effects and gives it battle destruction immunity. That is a lot, and all of them together make Bounzer Guard quite the nice card. Evoltile Elginero is just a ‘when; then; then’ the card. It isn’t bad, but it isn’t that good. Hieratic Dragon of Nebthet; Nitwit Outwit; Storm; Swallowtail Butterspy; Red-Headed Oni; Overlay Eater; Butterflyoke; Lightray Gearfried; Number 25: Force Focus Number 25: Force Focus needs two level 6 monsters and all you get is effect negation. It isn’t bad, but it really should be a bit better. Not sure what that something is, but it should have a bit more. Maybe banish all other copies of the card you negated? But I’m not Konami, Force Focus is still a video camera I can study. It is also an Xyz monster, so I can advance the challenge, and it is a Number so it advances Numeron Code. So while it might not be worth two level 6 monsters, it is fine. To the last pack of Galactic Overlord. Bright Star Dragon; Aquamirror Cycle; Falling Current; Wattaildragon; Lady of D.; Hieratic Dragon of Eset; Commander of Swords; Hieratic Dragon of Nuit; Final Inzektion And nothing new here. Time for a set change. Let’s redu this. … you know. Because the set code for Return of the Duelist is REDU. Charioteer of Prophecy; Gagagarush; Little Trooper; Heroic Chance; Photon Caesar; Goblin Marauding Squad; Cold Feet; Strength of Prophecy; Madolche Chouxvalier Madolche Chouxvalier is fine. It is an attack magnet. And kind of cool looking. Madolche Butlerusk; Overlay Regen; Three of a Kind; Galaxy Queen's Light; Charioteer of Prophecy; Lucky Punch; Damage Mage; Spellbook of Secrets; Chronomaly Colossal Head Spellbook of Secrets searches other Spellbook cards, which is good. It is also an ultra rare. Gagagarush; Chronomaly Mayan Machine; Spellbook of Power; Ninjitsu Art of Shadow Sealing; Noble Arms - Gallatin; Impenetrable Attack; Strength of Prophecy; Atlantean Attack Squad; Chronomaly Crystal Skull Chronomaly Mayan Machine isn’t good. Sure it counts as 2 tributes for a Machine, but there are all of 0 Chronomaly monsters that need two tributes. So it really shouldn’t be a Chronomaly monster. But Chronomaly Crystal Skull is great. Just discard it so you can search any Chronomaly monster. Or even add 1 from the GY back to the hand. Three of a Kind; Stonehenge Methods; Photon Caesar; Trance the Magic Swordsman; Catapult Zone; Noble Arms - Gallatin; Three Thousand Needles; Cold Feet; Sishunder Stonehenge Methods isn’t terrible, but not all that good either. Overlay Regen; Lightray Madoor; Madolche Chateau; Three Thousand Needles; Heroic Challenger - War Hammer; Heroic Retribution Sword; Spellbook of Power; Ninjitsu Art of Shadow Sealing; Geargiano Mk-II Heroic Challenger - War Hammer is decent enough. Heroic Retribution Sword isn’t all that great, I’d rather use a monster like Yubel or Amazoness Swordswoman if I want to return battle damage to my opponent. And Geargiano Mk-II is not bad. Madolche Chateau; Damage Mage; Lucky Punch; Heroic Challenger - War Hammer; Chronomaly Golden Jet; Compulsory Escape Device; Trance the Magic Swordsman; Madolche Tea Break; Prophecy Destroyer Compulsory Escape Device is a bit too specific, but maybe it has a use. And Prophecy Destroyer specials itself from the GY and has 2500 attack. So it has uses. Three Thousand Needles; Noble Arms - Gallatin; Impenetrable Attack; Madolche Mewfeuille; Three of a Kind; Chronomaly Mayan Machine; Madolche Lesson; Spellbook of Power; Soul Drain Soul Drain is … potentially good. It might mess with Soul Magic, so it could prevent things like Janina’s scale avatar and Nevelle’s copy from existing. But I also don’t want to do that. Still something to keep in mind if I run across soul based creatures or monsters. Chronomaly Mayan Machine; Heroic Retribution Sword; Little Trooper; Stonehenge Methods; Lucky Punch; Overlay Regen; Compulsory Escape Device; Sishunder; Temperance of Prophecy Temperance of Prophecy can tribute itself to summon a level 5 or higher Light or Dark Spellcaster from the deck. Which is great. Sure I need to activate a Spellbook spell before that can happen, but still a good effect. Chronomaly Mayan Machine; Lightray Madoor; Where Arf Thou?; Gagagarush; Charioteer of Prophecy; Xyz Soul; Heroic Chance; Cold Feet; Fairy King Albverdich Fairy King Albverdich just drops the attack and defense of non-Earth attributed monsters and people. Which includes me, so I won’t be using him. Turnabout; Stonehenge Methods; Madolche Lesson; Chronomaly Technology; Lightray Madoor; Little Trooper; Trance the Magic Swordsman; Chronomaly Colossal Head; Spellbook of Secrets Sadly nothing new here. Still, I got a super rare and three ultra rares from REDU. That is great. Now, before I call it a day, I’ll summon my new Xyz monsters and claim the rewards. I have five new Xyz monsters. Four of them I got today. Hierophant of Prophecy; Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity; Inzektor Exa-Stag; Number 25: Force Focus; Fairy King Albverdich That got me to 93, and the reward for getting to 90 is: Number 1: Numeron Gate Ekam + Number C1: Numeron Chaos Gate Sunya + Numeron Network + Numeron Calling So I summoned Number 1 and Chaos Number 1, getting two more summons, raising my total to 95. So one more reward for me. At 95, I got myself Dragon Master Lord and Saga of the Dragon Emperor. Dragon Master Lord is really cool looking. And it has 5k attack and 5k defense. And it, sometimes, deals doubled piercing damage. And Saga of the Dragon Emperor can just double the attack of any Dragon. Sure it is just temporarily, but that is still great. And as I suspected, my last reward for the Xyz challenge will be C1000 and iC1000. That will be amazing. Also, I now have 30 Number monsters. So I can use the Numeron Code to heal people. That should be useful. And, with C1, I have 10 Chaos Numbers. So I can use the Sphere Field. Don’t know which will be more useful, an inescapable combat sphere or a healing ability, but both are nice.
