For the next day, I did as the Goddess … should I call them that? It is their group name, so maybe? Yeah, I’ll keep calling them the Goddess. I mean I was before even though I knew almost for certain who they were. … okay, it was maybe 41% before I talked with Ibu. After my talks with him, it was more like 79%. There was still a small chance that the Goddess was something like a soul copy combination of the Hero’s party instead of their System Supports. But the reason I never believed in that was because I never saw one of the Hero’s party’s System Supports serving the Goddess. If she was a soul copy, why wouldn’t she keep one of them with her at all times? Anyway, let’s talk about my day instead. It started with all of us in my bed. Except Janina, she doesn’t fit and her scale copy likes to meditate instead of sleeping. Helps her sync up her memories and stuff. Alice and Unika actually did the same whenever they split their souls and had them do different things. They just did it by sleeping. … Also, I’m not sure if I ever mentioned it, but in case I didn’t, Unika can ‘summon’ her soul into the Monster World, appearing as Stella did there. So sometimes, when one of them sleeps, the other goes back to the Monster World to make sure their mountain is safe. Yes they also do it while they are awake, but generally if they want to go while awake, they just take the portal and fly over. It isn’t a long trip. But I got sidetracked again. I wasn’t the first of us to wake up. Alice had apparently woken up some time ago, since when the rest of us got up and headed out of our bedroom, we smelled delicious breakfast cooking. Alice was in the kitchen that was a part of my room. It was just a small one for making small meals. Generally we use the HomeBase kitchen as it is much better equipped. But you can still make all the basics here if you want. She told us to do a shortened morning practice and come straight back for breakfast, and I was all for it. For my morning practice, I decided to go for a swim with Cailie. I didn’t really have a reason for it, it just felt correct today. So I race swapped into a melusine and we went to floor 42 of HomeBase. It is the first ocean floor of HomeBase, but unlike floor 49, which is basically a constant raging storm, floor 42 is just a usual sea. Sure there are waves, some even being quite large, but you can manage it. It isn’t easy if you aren’t used to swimming in strong currents or in the decently large waves, but it isn’t impossible. We were joined by Brooke, the water specialist of the Card Venturers. She didn’t usually swim on floor 42, since to get here you need either me or Agunan. Well you could try to get through the dungeon, but good luck with that. I never made a shortcut here because it is so deep in the dungeon, and because it is legitimately quite the dangerous floor, even for someone like Brooke. There are still B and A-rank monsters swimming about, and while they won’t attack me, anyone else is fair game. Unless I’m there to make sure they don’t. The monsters still sometimes try to take on Agunan, but with floor 49 now under the control of Varuna, it has become a lot less. Floor 49 was the perfect stage for an SS-rank monster to try to fight Agunan, since it does somewhat counter him. But since Varuna took over that floor, no SS-ranks have spawned there. And since floor 48 was a volcanic floor, Agunan basically had a home field advantage. Even if it wasn’t his volcano. But he does live in one. And the floor also naturally spawns golems, which really aren’t a big threat to a dragon since they can’t fly and just lack the agility needed to fight a dragon. But I began to ramble again. After a morning swim, I teleported the three of us back and while Brooke headed for the baths to clean the sea water off of herself, Cailie used some Water Magic to clean and dry us, so we could head straight to our room and have breakfast. On the way, I changed my race back to Advanced Human. By the time we arrived, the food was ready. Wilma, Lua, Janina and Alice were seated around the table and had begun eating, but Unika was still somewhere. The source of thɪs content is N0v3l.Fiɾe.net I helped Cailie to her custom seat, as sitting in a regular chair is uncomfortable for her, and as I was about to sit down, Unika rushed into the room and without stopping, ran to her chair and took a seat. She then stuck her tongue out as she said that she was seated before me. So I took my seat and joined the others for breakfast. Our breakfasts varied from person to person. As I’ve explained when going over everyone’s birthday breakfast, not all of us like a large breakfast. I can eat a buffalo for breakfast, but I can also survive on very little. Sure it leaves me feeling hungry, but I technically don’t need to eat that much. Yes, not eating does eventually lead to problems, but thanks to all my skills, I can go a few years without eating. I did a Factory test on that. And I can go about seven weeks without any water. But today Alice had made sure I had a decently hardy breakfast. Nothing crazy, but still nice. While eating, I did as promised last night and told everyone about my nightly conversation with the Goddess. This included the truth about who they were. I was actually expecting I’d be stopped while doing that, but no missions popped up and I was allowed to continue. That was until three of my girls let out gasps. Those three were Alice, Cailie and Unika. Each of them had just had their System Supports upgraded. Alice went from standard to advanced while Cailie and Unika went from basic to standard. The upgrades were apparently a little hush hush gift from the System. Because while they couldn’t stop me from spreading the information, they asked that I don’t share it beyond what I already did. I never actually planned to, but the other Gods might not know, so I let it be. I ate my plate clean, thanked the chef with a kiss and took Wilma’s hand. I wanted to head to the workshop with her, as I had access to some interesting information. “So you can just access the results of every Appraisal ever performed?” She asked to confirm after I explained to her the Appraisal results library of the System. “Yeah. Well everything that was done with the Appraisal skill, as well as things analyzed by Dungeons. Can’t access the stuff that was analyzed or appraised by unique skill, as there are no records for it.” “Not even hidden behind ultimate?” Wilma asked. “Nope. Send an inquiry about that, but those aren’t stored.” I answered. “And with that info you want to do what?” She asked. “Thought you’d never ask.” I said as I opened up Mental Visual Designing. I then pulled up the best appraisal results we had for the Hero’s Holy Sword. - Absolute Penetration - Ignores all of the target's defenses. - Absolute Immunity - The Wielder cannot be affected by any skills of their enemy. - Unified Power - Strength Up, Magic Up and Against the Odds are applied to your companions. Description: The legendary sword wielded by the Hero whose name was forgotten by the world. It is unknown who made the sword, but it is said that the name of the sword was given to it by the Hero. The sword is made from orichalcum, adamantium and void uranium, making it extremely powerful, as well as unbreakable. The sword can only be wielded by those carrying either the title of Hero, or those with the race of Hero. The sword will show all of its latent power when facing down an enemy of the world. The sword really was quite something, but admittedly I expected even more. I mean, when I wield Errelitea, it is way stronger than the Hero’s sword. But I have to say, Demon's Pride and Fall is a really cool name. Wish I’d come up with it. Sure it is a bit wordy, but it fits. The Pride of the demon who went against what she should do to give the Hero the sword, and then the fall of the demon king. “So.” I said to Wilma. “On a scale from easy to impossible, how difficult would it be to recreate that?” “... challenging.” Wilma said. “The sword itself is more than doable. The Magic and Strength Ups are the same, and the Penetration is easy. Against the Odds can probably be done, but we’ve never made anything like that. The Defense Up on a sword is especially challenging. And then there is Protector of the System. I have no clue where to even begin with that.” “So what you are saying is that we can get close. And Wendy is still expecting a sword from us. She’s said that we can get a look at the true piece during the next adventuring tournament, so we should try to have one finished by then.” “So just under three months to make a sword fit for a descendant of the Hero. That isn’t too bad.” Wilma said. From there, I went on to have a simple day. Sure working my brain with Wilma might not seem simple, but at least we figured out things. Like the fact that we could use Megamorph as a base for Against the Odds. It isn’t an exact match, but if I didn’t know any better, I’d say the maker of the sword did use it as the base. As for the Protector of the System part, I tried to search for it in the System’s archives, but the information was locked behind the ultimate level. Laura sent out a permission request for it, but we’ve yet to hear back on it. I’m sure they will eventually respond. It just might give me info the other Gods aren’t sure about, so they are hesitating a bit. And besides, we don’t need to add that feature to Wendy’s sword. I just wanted to know how, or maybe if, we could make a perfect replica of the Hero’s holy sword. After her day of teaching, I spent some time with Lua. She was practicing her ‘corrupted saint’ skills on me. Aka. sexual and pleasuring techniques. I was kind of the perfect test subject, since I could just swap races and genders on the fly. So as we were experimenting, I eventually ended up as a female cambion, and Lua even ordered me to dress up in the succubus carb I bought in the demon world. I even used Demonic Might to make myself wings like Hope has, and otherwise attempted to make myself look like a sexy succubus who was captured by a stronger opponent. I have to admit something here, it is easier for me to be more submissive in bed while I’m a female. I don’t exactly know why, but I know it is true. Maybe it is because we usually play around more when I’m female? Everyone knows that it is not serious, so no one cares. But while I’m male, I could legitimately impregnate anyone except Lua and Janina. Janina because she is too strong and Lua because she controls her cycles with Blood Magic. Eventually Lua was happy with her training for the day, and the two of us fell asleep in her bed.
