“Okay. Ninatia, you synchro with me first.” I told the superior spirit of fire. Since my practice ‘fusing’ with the two Souls is getting better, as in I can actually take Varuna and move while we are tuned and unioned, I’ve been coming up with new ideas on how to make the Synchro Union… yeah, that is a good name for it. A synchro union. I’ve been coming up with ideas to make it better. And one of those ideas was adding a spirit into the mix. It should be possible as I can do a double synchro with spirits. Well, not all combinations of spirits. Some of the superiors aren’t the biggest fans of each other, but others work extremely well together. For example, you can’t get Thalassa, water, to double tune with any spirit except her children. But the spirits of Light and Dark, Eosther and Nyx, work fantastically together. Same with Lachros and Iris, Space and Time. Those two are actually the ones I first learned to double spirit synchro with. And now I was testing if I could do a spirit synchro at the same time as I did a synchro union with a Soul. And since I summoned Ninatia, the superior spirit of fire, you can probably guess which of the Souls I’m doing this with. Not that I could do it with Varuna in the first place. While I am getting used to him, he just is too much. After the Synchro with Ninatia, I was wearing a suit made of flames. Usually spirits like to go for dresses or other outfits while they Synchro, but they can do more form fitting clothes with a more perfect Synchro. And since I’ve been practicing with them, they can make me a really snappy suit. And a suit just looks good. From there, it was Pele’s turn. She synchro unioned with me, and it was … well, it worked, but it wasn’t perfect. Double spirit synchro is already difficult, for the spirits, as in a spirit synchro they modify their soul wavelength to match mine. But in a double synchro, they have to match both me and the other spirit. It is like adding a new instrument to a band, but that instrument is tuned completely differently than the others. So first you have to tune it to match everything else, and then the person playing the instrument needs to know how to play the songs. Lucky for us, Pele and Ninatia have already done a synchro with each other, so Ninatia knew what was coming, and she had adjusted us to help Pele. And yes, we did try it the other way, where I did a synchro union with Pele first, but Ninatia struggled in matching our combined wavelength, since it was more powerful than hers is. And as Pele became one with us, I felt the burning sensation that came from doing a synchro union with her. Luckily it is nowhere near as bad as the crushing force of Varuna. And also luckily, there was only minimal conflict with the double Synchro. Probably thanks to Ninatia. She was guiding our wavelengths to match well enough. Sadly it wasn’t all good, as the mana drain of doing this was intense. A spirit synchro with a superior spirit already takes quite a bit of mana, and a double synchro doesn’t just double it, but more like quadruples it.  Thᴇ link to the origɪn of this information rᴇsts ɪn 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝⟡𝕗𝗂𝗋𝖾⟡𝕟𝕖𝕥 And while I’ve never tried a triple synchro, I’m guessing that would quadruple the mana drain again. Anyway. I have the mana to support the double synchro with the union added on top, so let’s test the literal firepower I have. … And short story even shorter, it was a lot. We used a basic Fire Ball and melted a small volcano. Yes, we were on HomeBase floor 43, the ‘Molten Destruction’ floor as I call it. It has multiple volcanoes, but now there is one fewer. And that was with a basic spell. If we actually used something powerful, we’d alter the entire landscape of this floor. After I fixed floor 43, I moved onto something else. That something is summoning challenges. I haven’t done anything with them since I completed the Xyz challenge, so I think it is about time I go back to them. And yes, I do have a challenge for Pendulum monsters. I need to just Pendulum summon them. And luckily it doesn’t have to be from the extra deck or anything, just as long as they are Pendulum summoned. It is a bit of a pain with extra deck Pendulum monsters, since I have to first summon them properly, then have them go face up in the extra and then I can Pendulum summon them. But a bit of pain doesn’t mean I can’t do it. Now, picking what scales to use came first. Though admittedly that was really easy. I have a no restrictions 0 scale, and a no restrictions 13 scale, so I’m just going to use them. All-Eyes Phantom Dragon is my 0 and Odd-Eyes Arcray Dragon is my 13. And with the two of them set as scales, I could summon any of my main deck Pendulum monsters. Oh, and as a reminder, my Pendulum Zones are in the Arc-V style light blade that my duel disk has. They aren't a part of the usual backrow, like they were after master rule 4. Now, speaking of main deck vs. extra deck. The only extra deck one I have, outside of Arcray, is Dark Anthelion Dragon. That one I need to Xyz summon first, then I can Pendulum summon it. And Arcray I can't Pendulum summon since I don't have another 13 scale or a card that can increase one of my scales, so I don’t need to worry about it. But anyway. I took ten Pendulum monsters from Collection and held them in my hand. I then let the Pendulum swing between my two scales. I watched it swing, and as I did, the cards in my hand reacted. They shook, as if wanting to be summoned. So I complied, placing each on a monster zone on my duel disk. “I pendulum summon.” I said quietly. No need to yell since I’m on my own. “Appear, Risebell the Summoner. Flash Knight. Foucault's Cannon. Vulmina, Statue of the Sacred Dragon. Shaddoll Zefranaga. Ritual Beast Tamer Zeframpilica. Ritual Beast Tamer Zefrawendi. Shaddoll Zefracore. White Wing Magician. And Performapal Odd-Eyes Butler.” The swing of the Pendulum opened a portal above me, and from it, my ten monsters appeared. I have to say, being able to summon 10 monsters does feel like cheating. But at the same time, I’m not complaining. I then had to clear my field a bit. And I need to summon Dark Anthelion, so I decided to start with that. Now, I don’t have any level 7s on my field, so I used the Numeron Code to alter the levels of my two Ritual Beast Tamers to be 7. Yes, the Numeron Code can modify the levels of summoned monsters. It has been able to do that since I got 10 Numbers. I just never use it, as I don’t have a need for it. I then Xyz summoned Dark Anthelion, before playing Thunder Crash to destroy all monsters I controlled. That way they are sent to the extra deck, so I can see what happens when I Pendulum summon again. And I let the lightning crash into nothing, as I had no target for it. And I didn’t feel like taking the damage myself. I then Pendulum summoned again, now with a new set of 10 monsters. Naturally starting with the Dark Anthelion Dragon that is now face up in my extra deck. The others were Speedroid Wing Synchron; Performapal Kaleidoscorp; Dragoncaller Magician; Performapal Smile Sorcerer; Performapal Laugh Maker; Mythical Beast Master Cerberus; Qliphort Shell; Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver and Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon. And that means I’ve summoned all of the Pendulum monsters I can Pendulum summon. And that I can get 4 rewards from the Pendulum mission. No, you cannot Pendulum summon All-Eyes Phantom Dragon or Odd-Eyes Arcray Dragon, which really made them the perfect scales. But now, let’s get to the rewards. For 5, I got Performage Ball Balancer and Pendulum Evolution. So like the Xyz monsters, Pendulums seem to carry the tradition of a monster, and a spell or trap that supports those monsters. 10 gave me D/D Scale Surveyor and Pendulum Hole. Interesting that I got a card that counters Pendulum summoning, instead of one that supports it. For 15, I got Harvest Angel of Doom and Pendulum Encore. So a way to Pendulum summon during the opponent’s turn, which means nothing, and a monster that searches out cards I have like 200 copies of. And for 20, I got Performapal Ladyange and Extra Pendulum. So another way of performing an extra Pendulum summon. But with Extra Pendulum, you can only special stuff from the extra deck, not hand. I cleared some space and summoned the four monsters I got, before checking what my 25 reward will be. And next time I’m getting a Starving Venom Fusion Dragon … retrain? Manga counterpart? I’m not actually sure where Starving Venemy comes from, but it is pretty good. As is Pendulum Impenetrable. Now, before I call it a day, time to check what new Ritual monsters I have. I haven’t summoned them in a while, so better to get them also summoned. Though I really didn’t have all that many. I had seven Gishki monsters. Which is something, but wish I had more. Evigishki Mind Augus; Evigishki Tetrogre; Evigishki Soul Ogre; Evigishki Gustkraken; Gishki Zielgigas; Gishki Psychelone and Evigishki Levianima were the seven I summoned. That brought my total up to 38, which got me the next reward of Ohime the Manifested Mikanko and Mikanko Kagura. I then summoned it which brought me to 39 Rituals. And my next one is a Ritual Voiceless Voice monster. I remember I got Saffira, Dragon Queen of the Voiceless Voice with Hieratic Dragon King of Atum, and now I’ll be getting more of that archetype. And it won’t take long, since I’ve yet to pull the Galaxy-Eyes variant of Paladin of White Dragon. I have the Ritual Spell for it, just need the monster. But that will be for the time I actually get it. For now, this is all I can do.
