At the ground level of the Grand Master’s Ship, almost half of the ship’s crew gathered to witness the awakening of the three captured blood mutants. It had been six long years, according to the human time line, and being in space for that long had made nearly half the crew grow bored. This event was the first exciting thing they were going to see, but most couldn’t help but feel terribly afraid, especially of the Golden and Female Blood Mutants. "Raise the platforms," Grand Master ordered as the four cubes were raised. Once raised, the fluids in each of the tubes were drained. As soon as the liquid level went below their nostrils, the four human bodies started to show signs of awakening. [Blood Mutant System: Online.] [You were captured. Your planet’s current status is unknown.] Ace’s body, along with the rest of the humans, sparked with life as a quick flush of pain went from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet. Ace’s body fell against the glass of the tube as his eyes, slowly adjusting to his new environment, slowly opened while trying to make sense of where he was. His lungs felt stiff and almost dry, his muscles were numb with no feeling in them. He tried to stand in place, but his legs did not respond, and like the others, he fell to the ground. *GASP* All the Granians gasped at once, causing his sensitive ears to ache from the rush of noises. "Where am I?" Ace questioned himself as his vision slowly cleared up. His body’s nervous system started to respond, and soon his legs regained their feeling. He wiggled his toes and fingers, and then tensed his fists. Slowly getting up and looking forward, he found himself standing before a large multitude of lizard-like people glaring at him with judgmental, frightened, and mesmerized eyes. "What the... Where the hell am I?" Upon hearing his deep voice, his head started to throb while visions of what occurred six years ago flashed in his mind. He raised his hand and rubbed it across his face, feeling his now defined facial structures and beard. "I have a beard? How long was... AAAHHH!" *GASP* Most of the Granians watching moved back a little, frightened by Ace’s screaming. Meanwhile, the young man held his aching head, which was throbbing repeatedly. His memory played out like a recorded video, showing him what had happened to him while he was on Earth. The Invasion, the War, and his kidnapping all came back to him, giving him a faint idea of where he was. ʀᴇᴀᴅ ʟᴀᴛᴇsᴛ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀᴛ 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡✶𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚✶𝙣𝙚𝙩 "WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?" He shouted while banging his hands on the tube. His face scrunched up in anger, further frightening the Granians, prompting them to run away and take cover. "TAKE ME BACK, NOW. TAKE ME..." From the corner of his eye, Ace saw another figure staring at him, the same way he was staring at the Granians. Looking over, he locked eyes with Jim for a second before quickly turning away out of second-hand embarrassment. "What the hell? Why are you naked?" "Why are you naked?" a female voice asked, and as he looked, he saw his sister struggling to hide her private areas. "Cherry?" He smiled and scrunched his face at the same time, amazed by how much she had grown but disturbed by her female features. "Why are you guys naked?" Another female voice asked. "Why am I naked?" Skyler Parkson asked as well, using her long hair to cover herself. Ace and Jim placed their hands on their areas, making sure not to look at the women in front of them if they didn’t want their third legs standing up. "Guys? What’s happened to us? Why does my voice sound so... grown?" "Me too," Cherry and Sky asked, their minds still trying to grasp and adapt to their new bodies. Meanwhile, Jim remained silent, his angry eyes fixated on Ace. "How long have we been... Oh no." Cherry’s expression turned to one of disappointment and disgust as she realized where she was, the same prison where she was kept with the other blood mutants. "Greetings, humans," Grand Master spoke from below with a grin on his scaly face. "Do not be alarmed. We know you do not possess features to hide your shame, so we’ve provided clothing for you." The tube lit up as clothes were sewn onto their bodies, fitting their new shapes without needing any measurements. "I understand you have questions, and you will get answers. Right now, you need to understand the severity of you and your kind back on Earth." Their tubes lit up once more, showing a recording of what was currently happening on Earth. "Earth has changed, and I admit that your species was a worthy opponent, but still, you cannot compare to any of the other species we’ve encountered. Your bodies are weak and cannot handle any gravitational pull outside of your solar system. You created body-altering technology, but I doubt your species can actually manage to do anything using it. "One thing that I do hope happens is that your kind quickly advances and comes to find you. There are a lot, and I mean A LOT, of other life forms anxious to meet you, thanks to your mother and father." Ace and Cherry’s composure changed as soon as Grand Master mentioned their parents. The Granian smiled, knowing he had gotten their full attention. "Don’t bother asking questions you’re not ready for answers to. Now, get yourselves ready. Your training will begin shortly." "What training?" Jim asked, his gaze still focused on Ace. "Why do you think we came to your planet?" Grim asked. "We gave you those skills for a reason, and now you have to train to harness and use them the way we intended. The rest of you," he said to the Granians present, "Leave this area immediately. Let us have time with these beings." While the Granians spoke amongst themselves, the four humans looked at the images displayed on the tubes, showing the progress happening on their home planet. Humanity had managed to fully rebuild itself, and they were currently at the stage where everyone from the age of eight to sixty-nine was able to have Gifted abilities. The planet now also had diverse climates, new biomes, and new species of beasts roaming the Earth. The greatest achievement they had made so far was in space travel, as they were now able to move from Earth to Mars in just three days. "I expect great things from your species, blood mutants," Grand Master continued as he prepared to leave the room. "Who knows, maybe they’ll join the intergalactic community soon. Just hope we don’t return before they advance, otherwise..." [You still have unread notifications concerning your advancements.]
