The time allotted for Ace, Cherry, and Jim to rest had finally ended. The Granians rushed into the prison cell-like facility and secured them while making sure to use blood mutant blockers, stopping them from using their abilities to attack. Before any training could begin, the three blood mutants were fed barrels of green blood. While Cherry and Jim consumed to their fill, Ace remained cautious, not wishing to overindulge to the point of addiction, like his system warned. He only consumed enough to fill his blood banks, just in case the Granians decided to starve them for unknown reasons. Once their feeding was completed, the three blood mutants were separated and taken to their separate simulation chambers. This time, Skyler was taken along with Ace and Cherry. She was chained around her neck with three Granians dragging her. "Welcome, humans," Chris greeted, while he and Lilly watched from a distance. "For today’s exercise, you will be taken back to Earth." "WE’RE GOING HOME?" Sky asked with excitement, only to be disappointed by the sudden change in the environment. The simulation begun with the environment morphing into ArkVille. The sight of their homeland almost brought the three humans to tears. While Cherry and Sky felt like crying their eyes out, Ace remained indifferent to the simulation of their home planet. "Today’s exercise will focus on making your female lover a fighter as well, Ace," Chris said, causing Sky to blush a little. "The gas had an effect on your planet. It changed the wildlife, plant life, terrains, ecological system, and even forty-five percent of the humans." From the four corners of the simulation facility, hordes of red humans, similar to the red men back on Earth, ran through each other as they sought to get to Ace, Skyler, and Cherry. These ’humans’ or clones were unfortunate souls who inhaled the red gas, turning them into mindless, violent, zombie-like beings with unpredictable actions. With their flesh blood-red and muscles tightly squeezed on their bones, they became much stronger, faster, and more capable than the average human athlete, making them dangerous to deal with without any weapons. "Do not be fooled. Even though these are humans, well were humans, they will attack and kill you. All these creatures were collected from your home planet, and they haven’t eaten in a while. To be honest, we don’t even know what they eat," Chris continued, "We studied their bodies and learned that they cannot reproduce, but they can feed, excrete, weep, and exhibit other emotions like you, but on a higher aggressive scale." "We also understand that your female friend has trouble transforming," Lilly mocked as she morphed into her human form, taking the shape of the person that bullied Ace and Sky once, "To help her out, we also brought a couple of your precious beasts from Earth. Their crystals have proven helpful to us, and now, we want to see how they will be helpful to you...." The distance between both foes was great, and unlike the red zombies who targeted the three humans, the beasts attacked anything they deemed worthy prey. "Blood samples!" Skyler exclaimed as she quickly morphed her hands. "I can acquire different blood samples." "That’s if they don’t kill you first," Cherry said as she was about to transform. However, her brother stood before her and urged her not to, saying, "If you become too dependent on that form, you will become addicted to blood. Follow my lead." Ace said as he turned only his hands and legs. "This is a skill I call blood sprint," He said while demonstrating his skills to Cherry, "Focus your energy into your calf muscles and release it all at once, like so." [Blood Step Skill: Activated.] Moving at an incredible speed, Ace blasted off from the ground and ran straight ahead for the red zombies approaching him. Using his speed and claw advantage, Ace slit the throats of the zombies while drawing all the little blood they had in their bodies. The amount wasn’t enough to make a weapon, but it was enough for him to turn them into tiny blood pellets. Once Ace got to a safe distance from the red zombies, he shot the blood pellets at them but learned of their ineffectiveness. Given that their muscle mass was thicker, denser, and tougher, the pellets did nothing but tickle the zombies. This, of course, made them turn their focus and quickly charge at him. "Cherry, it’s your turn," he shouted while creating blood tendrils using his own blood. Two zombies jumped towards him and were quickly stabbed through their chests by Ace’s tendrils. He then sucked out every ounce of blood from the beings, but they were still alive, only weakened by the painful attack inflicted on them. Meanwhile, Cherry, testing out her brother’s skill as demonstrated, used her newly learned blood sprint and found herself achieving new speeds. Like every person trying out something for the first time, Cherry stumbled and crashed through a wall before getting back up on her feet. She attempted the skill one more time and managed to last longer by only a few seconds. ’If Ace’s system taught him this, I want one of my own,’ she smirked while attempting the move one more time, this time hoping to get to Ace. Moving at an even faster speed, Cherry sprinted her way to Ace and slammed into him, causing both of them to fall over. The red zombies, at first, stood marveling at this behavior but then took the chance to attack the blood mutant siblings. "Another opportunity to learn a new skill," Ace said as he crossed his hands over Cherry’s back, putting her in a bear hug state. His skin quickly turned into a red, sticky texture as tiny villi structures developed on it. "I call this one, blood spray." [Blood Spray Skill: Activated.]
