The Start of a Petty Rivalry. Using his pressurized blood technique, Jim was able to complete the fifth phase which required him and the others to kill five extremely fast-moving creatures at once, a task that Ace hadn’t managed to accomplish yet. This simple victory, for Jim, overwhelmed his senses with pride, a catalyst that sparked a petty rivalry between him and Ace. Wearing a cheeky grin, Jim saluted Ace as he moved on to the sixth phase. The Blood Bishop, not even aware of the silly contest Jim was having, looked on with bewilderment. Wondering what was wrong with Jim, Ace decided to complete the challenge and find out for himself. ’He’s acting strange,’ he thought while slitting his forearms. ’Did I...piss him off with my ranting before the training phase began?’ [Blood Fire Skill: Activated.] Both hands stretched out, Ace splashed large drops of his blood onto five unsuspecting creatures that he marked as his targets. Once that was finished, the Blood Bishop activated his Blood Fire Skill and set the bodies of the creatures ablaze. Having used the skill before and mastered most of its contents, Ace increased the intensity of his flames and automatically burned the creatures into nothing but carbonated bodies, killing them in an instant. {Subject Ace Underwood has completed the Fifth Phase.} [Creatures Killed: 12] [EXP received: 20] X12 [Level 56 EXP:467/320>>>Level 57 EXP:147/330] [All Stats have been moved up by one point.] Before the Simulation chamber cleared out the elements of the Fifth Phase, Ace collected all the Blood Mana from the twelve creatures he killed before moving on to the Sixth Phase, the final phase his system told him to get to for him to complete the Quest and receive Blood Coins so that he’d have access to the Blood Store. [Blood Mana: 58/4000>>>82/4000] {The Fifth Phase has ended.} {Subjects Ace and Jim have reached the Half Way Mark.] {Five More Phases Remain. Please continue for as long as you can.} ’I plan on completing every phase, "What was that you just pulled back there?" Ace asked, referring to Jim’s odd behavior he exhibited ever since the end of the Fifth Phase. Jim, overcome by pride, ignored Ace as he prepared himself for the Sixth Phase. This left the Blood Bishop greatly confused and he was still oblivious as to why Jim was acting the way he did. ’Must have been what I said earlier.’ Ace sighed and, along with Jim, waited for the sixth phase to begin. {The Sixth Phase will begin now.] {Goal: Test yourself and see how long you can last.} ""How long we can last?"" The once green and open terrain changed to the barren space of the simulation chamber. With no specific details other than the hard metallic floors with a few metal barriers around, the two Blood Mutants were left confused and wondered what exactly was going on. "Do you see the flame anymore?" Jim asked while he referred to the flame they were instructed to go to that would signify the end of their training. "I don’t see it anywhere." "The room’s gone back to its normal size," Ace pointed out. "And look, Grim’s over there watching us." "Calm yourselves down, now," Grim, sensing the distraught looks on the Blood Mutants, approached them with a Blood Mutant Blocker for his safety. "There have been changes. From now on, your training phases are going to include fighting Ethisians....real Ethisians, not just simple clones anymore. The War has already begun and in a few short days, you and the others will be deployed." [A few days ago.....] Upon the decree of the Intergalactic Council, the Ethisians and their forces set out to begin conquering more territory from the Granians with the goal of subduing the new set of Blood Mutants they possessed. While the Granians focused on strengthening their Mutants, the Ethisian forces commenced an attack on the Outer Gate of the Akrina Galaxy, the most desolate area in the entire galaxy. --------------------- [Ethisian Command Ship] {Population: 5,000,000} {Important Resource: Xenothium.} "The planet has a meager habitation number, Commander. There aren’t many species thriving on it. The Granians took it due to its richness in Xenothium. Extracting this mineral will strengthen our weapons more than they already are." "Do so," the one referred to as ’Commander’ gave the order which prompted the Ethisians to land their ships on the Planet. Like the Granians, the Ethisians traveled in large fleets consisting of three ships, the mothership in the middle and two lesser ships on either side. The Ethisian ships, larger and more rugged than the Granian ships, moved slightly slower due to the number of materials onboard. This included planet-destroying cannons, hundreds of thousands of troops; keeping in mind that one Ethisian’s weight equaled that of three and a half Granians; and millions of personal combat vehicles they’d use in their conquests. "Granian forces detected," one of the pilots announced to the ’Commander’ who quickly got up from his large throne. Standing at eight feet tall with a shoulder width of five feet, the Ethisian’s shape was truly horrific with a compact, scale-covered head outlined by two clear white eyes, a severely jacked and scarred body with thick, chipped coffee-brown scales, and a set of armor that really wouldn’t do much since his body was covered with natural armor. At a simple wave of his arm, the ’Commander’ was given a large, double-bladed sword similar to the one Murdock used. The difference was that his was chipped and scratched with distinct bones decorated along the hilt. "I shall deal with them myself," he spoke in a voice so deep and great that it could shake a human’s body. "Consider this as a warning for the Granians. They refused to surrender so they shall pay with the Blood of their kind." "What about our Blood Soldiers? Shall we send an order asking for them to be deployed?" "We can handle the fight without them," the Commander replied. "However, when the Granians bring their own, that is when we shall send them out." Updates are released by 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝⟡𝕗𝗂𝗋𝖾⟡𝕟𝕖𝕥 Having said that, the ’Commander’ departed from his ship with his sword gripped in his hand. Ahead of him was a Granian barracks with machines mining the Xenothium. Just as he, the ’Commander’, had expected, the Granians present had prepared themselves for battle as soon as they saw the Ethisian forces landing on their planet.
