[You have completed the Sixth Phase.] [You have killed An Ethisian in the Warrior Class.] [You have used your Blood lust and Brutality stats to your advantage.] [You have struck fear into the hearts of your enemies.] [Rewards shall now be granted.] While the Granians dragged away the lifeless Ethisian bodies, Ace sat down on the hard floor of the Simulation Chamber and read the rewards his system had for him. Upon killing the Ethisian, the Blood Bishop was met with a couple of messages constantly coming through all at once. [You have Completed the Sixth Phase of your Training and completed the System’s Quest.] [Rewards: Triple Instant Level up.] [Rewards: 5,000,000 Blood Coins.] ’Five million?’ his eyes flared up in shock, surprised by how many coins he had gotten just from finishing the quest. ’I’ll be able to buy as many things as I’ll want.’ [Level 57:147/330>>>Level 60: 147/360] Thɪs chapter is updated by 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝·𝘧𝙞𝙧𝙚·𝔫𝔢𝔱 [All stats have been increased by three points.] [Extracted Blood Mana: 500] [Blood Mana: 587/4000] ’500? Just from killing an Ethisian?’ confused by his system giving him five hundred Blood Mana Points from killing an Ethisian, Ace wondered why he hadn’t gotten the same amount of Mana from killing the scaled ones which, in his own opinion and experience, were slightly harder to kill than the Ethisian. [Congratulations: You successfully killed an Ethisian in the Warrior Class.] [Your body will now build a tolerance to Ethisian poison. The more you get poisoned and survive, the stronger your tolerance will become.] [You have used your Blood lust and Brutality stats to your advantage.] [Your Blood Lust and Brutality Points have been doubled. The higher they are, the more powerful your attacks and overall defenses will become.] [Brutality Points:32] [Blood Lust: Level 2] [You have struck fear into the hearts of your enemies.] [Use that to your Advantage.] "This is decent progress," he thought to himself. "My body feels different than before and this symbiote’s one of the main contributors to my strength...well that’s what Grim says." With his rewards given, Ace was now finally able to access the Blood Store, the one thing that was pushing him to complete the Quests so he would receive Blood Coins to access the Store. [Sufficient Funds Detected.] [You Now Have Access to the Blood Store.] The System Panel changed from a dark red color to a Blood red texture with blood drops designing the top and bottom. Once in the Blood Store’s Panel Section, the Blood Bishop witnessed three different categories for the things he could now purchase. [Select a Category for a detailed explanation.] [Items Category Selected.] [Description: The Items Category consists of various miscellaneous or powerful items that you can buy to assist you in battle. Blood Weapons in the Weapons Category can be crafted with Blood from opponents and certain organs to make them stronger. Once acquired, these weapons cannot be melted into a liquid state unless they come with instructions that say otherwise.] [You have sufficient funds to purchase anything from the store. Use them discretely.] ’Blood Magic.’ Ever since he acquired his Blood techniques, the Blood Bishop always thought of dabbling in Blood Magic so he’d see what possibilities he could possess. ’The system already hinted at the possibility of Blood Magic with the Blood Mana counter so does that mean I’ll be able to possess incredibly powerful Magic?’ With so many questions to ask and so many things to discover, the Blood Bishop decided to allocate some time to check out what he would buy. In the meantime, he and everyone else around him, had a much more pressing thing on their minds that they wanted to discuss more about. "You finally managed to infuse your Gifted DNA with your Blood Mutant DNA," Ace spoke to Jim who was still exploring his new elemental skill. The Golden Blood Mutant, still in his Mutant form, tried to manipulate the skill again but failed numerous times. "You knew about this?" Jim asked, slightly angered at Ace for gatekeeping such a revelation from him. "You knew and chose not to tell me?" "I knew about it thanks to the help of my system," the Blood Bishop responded. "Besides, I thought the technique only applied to me. It makes more sense that yours is more powerful given that your Blood Mutant and Gifted DNA has been infused." "It is fascinating really," Jim marveled. "Sadly I cannot control it at will. I take it that Blood Fire is your elemental gift fused with your Blood Skills, right?" "Then how does your sister have it too?" Jim asked. This question, posing a serious debate, made Ace wonder how his sister was able to learn the skill, even though she hadn’t been injected with a serum. ’Could it be that I haven’t been able to unlock it yet?’ Ace wondered. ’I thought Blood Fire was a fusion of my Gifted DNA and Blood Mutant DNA. I guess I was wrong. Or perhaps the Gifted DNA within me is too little to be harnessed into my Blood Mutant DNA.’ "I’m not so sure," he responded. "I thought I knew but clearly, I do not. Maybe when I got injected and my body refuted the Gifted DNA, none of it fused with my own DNA." ’That’s one advantage I have over you.’ Jim grinned, his petty rivalry starting to overshadow his rational thinking. Little did he know that the Blood Bishop had several trump cards that put him at levels higher than Jim. "Congratulations, Jim and Ace," Lord Grim approached the two Mutants, this time without a Blood Mutant Blocker in his hands. "Your skills have been sharpened thoroughly, even though you need more work." "What’s next from here?" Jim questioned for he was itching to use his new skill. "From here, you two are going to rest," Grim responded, this time sounding more genuine than usual. "You’ve been exhausted more than enough and even though you can heal with the power of blood, it’s not wise to rely on that factor. You could become addicted and turn into mindless blood lust driven beings." With a snap of his finger, Jim was knocked out instantly while Ace pretended to fall down and act the same way. Surprised that he wasn’t knocked out like his comrade, the Blood Bishop wondered whether it was due to his increased strength or tolerance to whatever substance/technique they were using to do so. "Separate them for now," Grim instructed before the two Humans were separated. "Provide them with the best human dishes you can prepare and cater to their needs. The women will be brought here shortly after."
