The darkness of night advanced and with it came the cold, shivering chills of the Planet’s winds and cold water rains pouring down in great volumes. The rain grew stronger with each passing minute, spreading a gray haze of moisture on the ground. This dramatic change in weather and the darkness of the night made the scene more dramatic for the Blood Mutants and the Granians who found themselves in an Ethisian Command Post. The five of them were on a mission to retrieve the Planet, overtake the Ethisian ships hovering over them, and then repeat the process for the remaining two planets so that the Granians would resume and Win the War. At the moment, hundreds of Ethisians surrounded the five attackers with one specific Ethisian standing out in the crowd. The other Ethisians had scales that ranged between chocolate-brown and cocoa-brown with cream underbellies. However, the one that stood out had a color that was a blend of dark green, blue, and gray. Its eyes glowed a sharp lime green color and its chest had a slight pulsating with the same color thumping with the rhythm of its heartbeat. The Ethisian had no large scales on its body, no horns, and no tail but it still looked more dangerous than any of those combined. ’It’s a good thing we came with Grim.’ the Blood Bishop admitted, already acknowledging the strength difference between him and their enemy. He hadn’t faced it yet, nor had he seen what it could do but the energy it gave off was enough for him to get the message. ’I don’t plan on fighting this thing. Not when Grim’s around.’ Conflicting with his thoughts, Ace’s system nudged him with a quest that rubbed him the wrong way. As he read it, he became uncomfortable with only thinking about said quest. What made it worse for him was that the quest had no rewards meaning he’d risk his life just to "see how strong he was." [Quest: Test your own strength and see how you compare with the new ranked Ethisian. This is not a reward-based quest but rather an assessment of your current strength.] ’And what if I refuse?’ [Refusing will be a violation of your resolve and will damage the deal you made with the Blood God] ’Damn it’ Looking at the Ethisian and then reading the quest again, the Blood Bishop grew unsettled and wished not to do it. However, he needed the Blood God’s strength for his own needs. If he were to lose that strength now, it would take him even longer to get to it on his own. "Fine, I’ll do the damn quest." He sucked his teeth while his body glowed a bright red and fiery glow. The glow turned into a triangular wave of energy, almost resembling a burning flame. The Ethisians and Granians marveled at this Energy for it looked like Eneraflux but at the same time, it did not possess any of its traits. "Blood Essence, Manifest" The Blood Bishop knew that the fight was going to be long, hard, and tedious between the five of them and the newly ranked Ethisian standing before them so instead of allowing the others to expand their energy on fighting the multitude of Ethisians surrounding them, he decided to let a small fraction of his army deal with them. [One Hundred Blood Warriors have been summoned] The red mark on his arm itched and shot away from his body. It increased in size and volume, resembling a thick wave of blood. The wave pushed through the Ethisians until it separated and turned into individual Blood Warriors. [Enoris Lv51 has been summoned] [Blood Iron Manipulation Aspect: Activated] [All of your Blood Warriors have been enhanced.] "Master," Enoris stood next to Ace, her gargantuan size and height overshadowing the Granians and Blood Knight behind him. Grim, One Horn, and Huntress were startled, shocked, and confused for they somehow recognized the Ethisian standing next to the Blood Bishop. "May I share my energy with you?" [Enoris wishes to share her energy with you. Do you accept?] "What’s this strength you wish to share with me?" Ace asked but the Ethisian remained quiet. As he recalled, she wasn’t capable of remembering anything from her previous life. Read complete versıon only at 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝~𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖~𝕟𝕖𝕥 "Lead the others to battle, Enoris." Ace gave his commands and the Blood Warrior obeyed. Raising her battle axe, Enoris pointed it at the Ethisians surrounding her master and led the others to battle. A fight between the Ethisians and Blood Warrior Ethisians broke out with the Blood Warriors conquering them all. Their bodies, amplified and strengthened by the Iron Manipulation Aspect, were three times harder to cut, punch, or break through compared to the regular Ethisians. This made it harder for their attackers to inflict any damage, leaving them completely vulnerable. "You finally brought your army out, huh," Cherry laughed as she envied the Blood Army that was resting on her brother’s hand, "How many do you have?" "The most important question is, how did you acquire that skill?" the thought of Ace having this many Blood Warriors at his disposal scared the Granians so much that they began plotting ways of putting the Human down if he were to ever turn against them. Grim, of all of them, did not entertain the idea of his biological walking weapons having an army. he and the other two witnessed the Blood Warriors lay waste to the Ethisians, bringing fear into their hearts. "Answer me, boy," Grim attempted grabbing Ace’s hand but it was stopped by Enoris who lunged her axe at him. She did not intend to harm him so instead, she made sure to throw it in between her master and the black-scaled Granian. "I thought you said you wanted me to become stronger than the Ethisians and their Mutants, Grim," Ace grinned as he enjoyed the scared expression Grim wore on his face. "I’m doing just that. You have no business knowing how I acquired my strength. I’m just following your orders." "Lord Grim," interrupting their chatter, the multi-colored Ethisian moved forward with its hands spread apart. A wide smile curved on its face with its eyes looking at Grim, then Ace, then Grim again. "It is finally an honor for me to meet the mighty Granian Warrior who enslaved and slayed the Blood Mutant race. I heard great things about you from my superiors. I owe my current strength to you. It is because of the fear you instilled in them that I have become the being that I am today. Allow me to fight you and bring your body to my superiors." Grim remained quiet while staring at the Ethisian. Disgusted by the way it spoke, he clenched his fists and enabled his Eneraflux energy. A blue flow of energy, burning like a wild flame, engulfed his body with a light breeze coming from him. The difference between his aura and Ace’s was his flowed like a gentle flame, almost close to steam rising from a cup with a hot beverage. Ace’s aura, on the other hand, burned like a raging flame that was blown by raging winds. Nonetheless, both of them swelled with energy coursing through and out of their bodies. One Horn and Huntress also joined Lord Grim in preparation for the fight. Looking at the Ethisian, they knew that their help would be greatly appreciated. The three of them had seen and fought all kinds of Ethisians but neither of them had faced one of this caliber before. "Granians, attack with me." Grim spoke and together, he, Huntress, and One Horn attacked the Ethisian at once. Ace remained where he stood, waiting for his sister to join him. the Blood Knight, at first, was oblivious to her situation and chose to sit back and let the others fight. "Aren’t you going to join us?" Ace questioned, taking Cherry by surprise. The Blood Knight stood next to him but wasn’t willing to fight just yet. "Do you see the strength difference between us and them?" the two watched the fight progress and marveled at the strength difference the Granians and Ethisian had compared to them. Even if they were to join, victory wasn’t guaranteed for them, let alone an opportunity to walk away uninjured. "You and I, we’re only good when it comes to one-on-one fights involving blood, not this Eneraflux stuff which you’re now learning..." "This isn’t Eneraflux," Ace responded. "It’s an energy that Blood Mutants possessed, almost like their own version of Eneraflux but instead of focusing on energy inputs and outputs, it enhances blood abilities only. The strength part is entirely dependent on me. I can teach you if you want." "I told you to teach me everything you know," holding out her hand, the Blood Knight and Blood Bishop shared a flow of energy between each other. Cherry began gasping for air with her eyes opening wider. Her body grew lighter than it was before and before she knew it, the red energy that her brother possessed was now flowing through her. "This is just a temporary fix. A guide to help you get the real thing," he said. "once what you have runs out, you’ll be able to learn and manipulate it as your own. You managed to do that with the Blood Fire and Blood Clone skills, so this won’t be a challenge for you." "Great," the Blood Mutants agreed and joined the attack. Instead of jumping head first and throwing hands, they opted to use deceptive tricks to slip behind the Ethisian and used their blood techniques to their advantage. "Let’s see how this one’s blood tastes."
