Three Granians fought fiercely against one Ethisian whose body was built differently from the others. Having a green glow in its chest and eyes wasn’t a normal occurrence, regardless of how strong it was or the type of rank it possessed. Seeing this, the Granians began racking their minds while trying to make sense of the behemoth’s nature. In terms of their biology, Ethisians and Granians shared a few similarities, which included scaled bodies, tails, clawed feet, and hands, and horns, but that mostly depended on the individual. The difference they had was in size and build, with Granians having a more slim and streamlined build compared to the bulky build of Ethisians. Some entities of either species had irises that glowed, but their eyes never did so unless they possessed Eneraflux, and it was already established that not everyone Ethisian possessed that energy. Aside from that, none of them had ever seen nor heard of a Granian or Ethisian with a glowing chest. It was unheard of, not even amongst the strongest Eneraflux users. Thinking long and hard, the three Granians made up their conclusions concerning the Ethisian. Huntress proposed that it was some form of newly awakened Eneraflux user. One Horn concluded that it must have been an intertwined species between Ethisian and some other breed. Grim, unlike the others, felt as though the Ethisian they were fighting was a biologically built and enhanced lab-grown species that the Ethisians had been working on. In all his life, and that of his ancestors, he had never once heard of a naturally glowing Ethisian or Granian, so seeing this meant that the Ethisians were also playing God in their laboratories with their own kind. The question was, how far were they willing to go to create ultimate battle weapons? "Don’t kill it unless I say so," he said to the others while they kept their distance from the Ethisian for a while, "don’t kill it just yet. I do not think that this is a naturally occurring creature to begin with. The way we enhanced these Humans could be the same way the Ethisians are doing to their own kind. Just look at it. It has no soul, no sense of purpose, and no idea of what it’s doing other than fighting." "Lord Grim," Huntress spoke, addressing her own concerns, "it could be an enhanced Eneraflux user. We never know, maybe the Ethisians are evolving into a new species again." "That form of evolution does not happen for our kind or theirs, remember?" he rejected her theory and instead chose to stick with his. "This must be a lab-grown entity. We must defeat it but refrain from ending its life just yet..." Unknown to the Granians, the Humans they left standing behind them were already on their way with motives of their own. Ace and Cherry had partially transformed their hands into long claws and blades which they used to attack the Ethisian with. Moving at quick speeds, they caught the behemoth off guard and attacked relentlessly, neither one of them giving the Ethisian a chance to get its footing. Ace charged in from the back, and Cherry from the front, leaving their enemy in an overwhelming state of confusion. The Granians tried to interrupt, but the Mutants were too stubborn and intent on killing the damned Ethisian. "I haven’t seen creatures like you before," the Ethisian smiled, lifted its hands, and managed to catch the Humans by their heads. It happened so quickly that not even the Granians were able to predict such a move to happen. "Tell me, what species do you belong to?" ’Just as I thought.’ Grim’s suspicions were right. The Ethisian was a lab-grown experiment, for it was involved in a way but had no knowledge of what a Human or Blood Mutant was. ’This isn’t a normal Ethisian.’ [Blood Acid Skill: Activated] Thıs text ıs hosted at 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡•𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮•𝕟𝕖𝕥 Ace slit his wrists and spilled his blood on the Ethisian, leaving it with terribly stinging wounds. The creature wailed in pain but then started to laugh as the wound healed. This further proved Grim’s point and made him reconsider if they were to kill it or not. The Blood Mutants, on the other hand, did not wait for Grim’s decision. They marked the Ethisian as their enemy and no matter what, they were going to kill it. One way or the other, the Ethisian had to die. "You cut yourself and let your blood burn through my body?" poking its healed wounds, the Ethisian attempted to make sense of Ace’s technique, acting as though it had never heard of beings that fight with blood. "What kind of...fighting technique is thi..." Cherry lunged from the back with her daggers gripped in her fist. The Blood Bishop darted at it, his hand ready to rest on its chest. The Ethisian saw through their movements but was unaware of their plans so instead, it chose to dodge them and focus on the other sets of attackers running toward it. The odds increased from three against one, to five against one, leaving the Ethisian at an incredibly large disadvantage. It couldn’t count on the help of its fellow Ethisians since they too were dealing with red beings that looked like them but weren’t them at the same time. This confusion built up and turned into frustration which also built up and eventually turned into rage. One, two, three, four. The Blood Mutant siblings were knocked down and so were Huntress and One Horn. The only one still standing was Lord Grim who proved to be a difficult challenge to the Ethisian. For a moment, the alien had some breathing room, allowing it to regain its footing while also planning on how it would deal with the others. However, before it could even finish with doing that, the other four resumed their attacks with increased force, pressure, and brutality. Taking on five attackers at once wasn’t easy, especially if of those five, three were capable of killing you with only a touch, but that wasn’t known by the Ethisian so the Blood Mutants made sure to use it to their advantage.
