One thousand two hundred and fifty Granian clones and eight Blood Clones, a cluster of each running in four different directions, moved swiftly and quickly with their eyes set on the forts ahead of them. The clones running on the darker side of the planet headed straight for the front gates of the forts while the ones running in the lighter suns ran around the forts and stationed themselves at the back. As soon as they were in position, it was time for Ace to get involved for he was crucial for the next part of the raid; adding a big enough distraction. "Blood Essence, manifest." [36 Blood Beasts have been summoned] [2 Emberwyrms have been summoned] The Blood Bishop, having desired to have a better experience with his previous Emberwyrm, had urged Lord Gravax to point him to yet another Emberwyrm for him to kill and conjure into his own beast. Unlike the first Emberwyrm, the Blood Bishop made quick work of the second and third, this time making sure to summon them immediately after he killed and conjured them. Not wanting to miss out on having Emberwyrms, Ace kept these two specifically for himself and commissioned them to act as a distraction for the Ethisians. The new Emberwyrms, one two times larger than the other, were as long and sleek as an Eastern Dragon, although the smallest had a bulkier form. Their bodies glowed with a fiery red glow that outshone that of their glowing, blood-based bodies. The scales on their bodies were large, thick, and lodged deep with large enough cracks that exposed the molten fleshy bits of their bodies. Their heads were shaped like giant lizards with multiple horns on the back of their heads. Their ears were shaped like those of a Kudu and their eyes were as wide and wild as that of a ferocious animal...which they were. "Embers," Ace spoke to his beasts which lowered their heads and flared their nostrils at him. he may have become their Blood Lord but they were still slightly hostile and wild towards him. "Ascend and unleash your flames." The dragon-like beasts, glowing with fiery energy, flew high in the air and started circling each other while senselessly roaring and growling as loudly as they possibly could. While doing what they did, Ace commanded the other Blood Beasts to run around aimlessly and frantically, pretending they were frightened and terrified of the Emberwyrms. This part of the raid was simple. Since the Ethisians didn’t have Emberwyrms in their half of the Galaxy, seeing two felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, some calling it a tourist attraction of sorts. If these Ethisians spotted them, they would easily get distracted long enough for the Granian clones and Blood Clones to swoop in and seal off the communicators long enough for the attack to commence. The Emberwyrms, flying with great speed, precision, and ferocity, flew above and around the fortresses with their mouths opened wide. Out of them came waterfalls of hot, burning Emberwyrm fire but it wasn’t fire to be exact. The substance had a liquid and partially solid form, something that the Blood Bishop had failed to understand. Whenever the creatures roared and unleashed their flames, they’d escape from their mouths as burning, glowing clouds of scalding heat and later on turn into a thick, molten liquid. What was even more strange about the liquid was the state it would obtain once it cooled down. The liquid, once cool enough, showed a silver-whitish luster and was nearly as tough as the Earth’s strongest steel. As impressive as it was to behold, this feat came at a taxing cost for the Blood Bishop. Every time the Emberwyrms roared, his Blood Mana would reduce significantly, much more significantly than when his Blood Warriors would involve themselves in combat. [Mana:64,000/64,000>>>>60,000/64,000] "They’re coming out." Jim stated the obvious as he and Ace watched the Ethisians dart out like children spotting a plane flying above. In excitement, they looked at the Emberwyrms pretend-fight each other while spitting waterfalls of fire and molten liquid. The beasts made sure to spread themselves evenly, allowing themselves to get the attention of all the Ethisians in every fort. In addition, the scattering Blood Beasts added more to the distraction, their frantic screams, roars, and bellows showing "pure fear" while they scattered away from the two dragon-like beasts. The distraction worked well, almost too well. The display of complete awe and amazement was so terrifying that the two Blood Mutants feared the Ethisians were either very dense or conditioned to living boring lives on this boring planet. Aside from that sob story, the Granian and Blood clones encroached on the forts very quickly and locked the doors behind them. Whatever Ethisian they encountered in the forts was dealt with quickly by the Blood Clones. And just like Ace said, there were only a few Warrior Class Ethisians which made the entire ordeal ridiculously easy for the Blood Clones. Now that they had sealed off the communication towers, the Blood Bishop was ready to commence the second part of the raid, although he knew it wasn’t going to be as effective. Nonetheless, his involvement was going to do more good than harm for him and so, he lifted his hands and uttered the words; "Blood Essence, manifest." [944 Blood Warriors have been summoned.] [The Scarlet Army has been summoned] [Blood Mana:60,000/64,000>>>58,304/64,000] All of a sudden, the frantic beasts and entertaining Emberwyrms instantly turned on the Ethisians and charged at them. While the simple thirty-six beasts dealt severe damage to the regular Ethisians, the two Emberwyrms spat their flames and molten liquids at the eight thousand Warrior Class aliens. Having been given the order by the Blood Commander, the two creatures made quick work of most of the Ethisians, making sure to burn and leave nothing behind, not even their ashen bodies. Once the beasts had dealt enough damage, another confusing phenomenon took place, one that mentally toyed with the Ethisians. "We didn’t call for backup, did we?" "And why are they charging at us?" This confusing sight of blood-red Ethisian not only scared the Ethisians, but it also struck them with an unholy amount of confusion and fear. The mixture of these two emotions caused the Ethisians to panic as they watched their protectors get killed by the two Emberwyrms. In a desperate attempt to report back to their home base planet, the Ethisians ran over each other, some trampled to death under the feet of their colleagues while others had their bodies crushed against each other. Running frantically, the Ethisians were shocked to discover their forts drenched with the blood of their own kind, followed by bodies lying around. The communication towers they tried to get into were sealed shut, leaving them out to be dealt with by the Scarlet Army and... "Gravax, the distraction worked. Tell your forces to move in."
