Granian Ships carrying about twenty thousand soldiers trained for war and battle marched from said ships as soon as they landed. The soldiers, dividing themselves into four groups consisting of five thousand soldiers, separated to the North, South, East, and West while waiting for the Blood Bishop to give them the green light. Meanwhile, the rest of the Granian attack ships rained down bombs and gun-like attacks on the Ethisians. Those who weren’t fortunate enough to have hidden in proper hiding spots were either blown to pieces, blown apart, had their appendages blown apart, or even burned to a black crisp. These aerial attacks, as brutal as they were, were not as effective as the Granians had hoped but nonetheless, they weren’t as crucially needed as Lord Gravax had thought. Since there were barely any warrior Ethisians present, the new Lord chose to let Ace finish the rest of the job with Jim by his side and twenty thousand strong soldiers at his command. As soon as the last Granian attack ship dropped the last bomb, Ace summoned back his Blood Beasts and one of the two Emberwyrms. With the other still present, he rode on it directly above the forts and caught the attention of the survivors. ’They’re still many,’ he thought while looking at the survivors. Of the fifty thousand Ethisians, about thirty-eight thousand of them were still alive, a number that, if well trained, could have quite easily overwhelmed the Granian forces. Knowing this, Ace decided to perform an incredibly risky move that, if not executed properly, could lead to his untimely and premature death. Raising his hands to the side, the Blood Bishop’s body began to glow and released a red energy that encased the dead bodies at all forts. He took one deep breath and shouted the words; ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ɪs ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʙʏ 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹·𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲·𝗻𝗲𝘁 "Blood Magic; Blood Revenant." [You have bargained for One thousand eight hundred Souls] A sharp, stinging pain shot through the Blood Bishop’s head, followed by a faint feeling of dizziness. The cost of summoning such a high number of Souldbound DreadWalkers was incredible and had it not been for the fact that Ace wasn’t touched yet, he would have most likely died. As soon as he bargained for those souls, his eyes turned bloodshot red while he bled from his nose, ears, and a little bit from his mouth. If anyone were to kill him, now would be a good time. ’A thousand souls,’ he thought to himself while watching the dead Ethisian bodies reattach themselves together with a demonic aura taking over. The once dismembered bodies now stood tall with wounds all over, some even missing appendages. Still, the DreadWalkers looked as deadly as they were dangerous, their eyes burning with an unhealthy bloodlust. The pain inside them began to grow but they dared not to move unless the one who bargained for them told them to. "Kill...the rest of them." Ace uttered in a sort of weak tone but thanks to his quick regenerative abilities, and a bountiful supply of fresh blood, he was able to heal very quickly with his health points resupplying. [HP: 110>>>190>>>280>>>390>>>470>>>...] As for the DreadWalkers, they immediately rushed at the Ethisians at great speed, making them almost invisible to the untrained eye. Because these DreadWalkers were the bargained souls of Ethisians, they had incredible strength, speed, and weight behind every muscle movement, making them quite strong and formidable. That feat added to their intense bloodlust drove them to hunt down their own kind and rip them apart, killing many with nothing but their strength and bare hands. The surviving Ethisians wailed and cried, their eyes taking in the last sight of their kind growling, screaming, screeching, and tearing their bodies apart. Slowly by slowly, the numbers started to reduce but it wasn’t fast enough and the Ethisians picked up on it. to make matters worse, it took the boldness of one Ethisian to grab a hold of one DreadWalker and kick it right in the chest. The DreadWalker fell apart momentarily, giving the Ethisian false hope. Soon, the others grabbed long projectiles and loose metal and used them as weapons to fight the DreadWalkers back. Soon, the other Ethisians at the other forts began to do the same but their victory became short-lived before they could enjoy it. the DreadWalkers they killed began to reattach themselves together and on top of that, the Scarlet Army, which hadn’t gone anywhere, intensified their attacks. Together, the DreadWalkers and Scarlet Army decimated the Ethisian numbers from thirty-eight thousand to about fifteen thousand. They could have gone further but the Blood Bishop had already outperformed himself and hit his own personal goal. Having birthed the urge to have an army of one thousand strong units, Ace deployed his Scarlet Army and DreadWalkers to kill the precise number he needed, and, as expected, they managed to surpass his expectations. Now that he had gotten what he needed, all that was left was for the Granian soldiers to move in quickly and swiftly deal with the rest of the Granians with the help of the Golden Blood Mutant. Because the rest of the Ethisians were barely fighters, the Granian soldiers found the task rather easy which was something that didn’t happen often. In a few hours, the raid was complete and the Granians celebrated the great success they achieved. Thanks to their efforts and the efforts of the Humans and their coordinative planning, they had successfully started the War without suffering any casualties. Because of this, word was sent to Lord Grania and the rest of the Granian army who immediately moved into the Ethisian half of Akrina. Due to its vast size, most of the Granian army’s ships hovered around the dwarf planet as the higher-ups landed to conduct meetings, plan strategies, and prepare themselves to push further into Ethisian territory. As for Ace, he had the bodies killed by his Scarlet Army and DreadWalkers laid before him. about twelve thousand bodies were presented, none in recognizable condition but that didn’t matter. What mattered to him was the fact that his army was going to increase from nine hundred units to over ten thousand, a massive leap in his books.
