[Lord Gravax’s fleet] Ethisian soldiers battled against Lord Gravax’s ground fleet with all they had. Even though they were outnumbered, outmatched, and underequipped. While the Granians had warships, heavy sets of armor, Mechs, heavy-duty blasters, guns, and soldiers on their sides, the Ethisians were only equipped with land vehicles, a small multitude of skilled, gunmen, and a large number of slaves, workers, and laborers who only knew how to swing the tools they had. The odds of them winning were beyond low, so much so that they, the Ethisians, knew they had lost their planet to the Granians, and their lives. This all changed, however, when most of them saw one of their own, more specifically a High Grade, come to fight with and for them. The sight of Elyssara, one of the strongest High Grades in the Ethisian Empire, eased many of the Ethisians’ weary hearts and even inspired them to fight. Even though they were getting slaughtered, Ely’s presence drove them to strive to do their best for their empire. ’If she’s here, perhaps a fleet came with her!!" The source of this content ɪs 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡~𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚~𝙣𝙚𝙩 That was the thought process most of the Ethisians had. They thought that Ely was clearing the ground for her fleet to swoop in at any second and come to their rescue. That all changed when they saw her not fighting the Granians but rather running straight for one particular target, the Blood Mutant that was slaughtering them by the hundreds. What made it even more odd was the fact that the Granian Lord, the ruler of all the Granians, was chasing after her. ’What’s Lord Grania doing here of all places?’ Was the question the majority of the Granians had when they saw their high and mighty ruler chase after an Ethisian. Even though she was a High Grade, there was no reason for the Granian Lord to chase after her. That was Grim’s job, not his. "GRANIANS!!!" Lord Grania yelled at the top of his voice, his words echoing through most of the battlefield. "STOP THAT HIGH GRADE!!! DO NOT LET HER GET TO THE BLOOD MUTANT. THAT’S AN ORDER!!!" Immediately and without question, the Granians turned their attention from the Ethisian soldiers to the High Grade. Those closest to her opened fire while the skilled combatants threw themselves at Ely, risking their mortal bodies to stop the High Grade. At first, Ely dodged most of their attacks thrown at her. The ones she couldn’t dodge were either taken head-on or absorbed by her body which lashed it out in the form of Eneraflux. Knowing she was outnumbered, Ely relied on her overpowered knowledge of Eneraflux. She wasn’t going to let her opponents get the best of her without hitting back. "You weren’t my initial targets, but...why not!!" She narrated to herself while her body began to glow with energy. Purple bursts of energy escaped her scales and hit as many bodies as she could target. The same thing she did to Ace was the same thing she was doing to the Granian soldiers. The only difference with them was that their bodies couldn’t conjure the energy they needed to fight back. They were paralyzed, unable to move until the foreign energy in them either vanished or subsided. Despite this skill, Ely could not withstand all the fire thrown at her. Even though she was strong, there was only so much her physical body could take. If she absorbed more attacks than she could normally handle, she wasn’t sure if her body would take it all and still be the same. Because of that, the High Grade knew what she had to do, how she had to do it, and when she was going to do it despite knowing the state it was most likely going to leave her in. Above everything, she needed to kill the second strongest Blood Mutant, just like she did with the first. Already knowing how she was going to execute her goal, all she needed to do was get close enough to the Blood Mutant. But how was she going to do that if Cherry was a great distance away? ’Draw her to me instead.’ One thing Ely was sure about was the fact that skilled fighters and blood-crazed/lusted entities were drawn to other skilled fighters, especially those of different species. She was drawn to Ace as he was drawn to her. Using that same logic, she was bound to draw Cherry to herself, and what better way to do so than to.... "Maximize my energy output!!" she roared while her body oozed with a great energy. A somewhat bright light shone in the small portion of the battlefield, drawing even more attention to the High Grade. As she did this, more and more attacks were lashed out, thrown, and aimed at her, raising her chances of death even higher. Nonetheless, her initial reasoning for doing so was achieved. She had gotten the Blood Mutant’s attention. She grinned and then leaped upward. Lord Grania followed suit, hoping he could get to her before she could get to Cherry. "HUMAN!!" he screamed, desperately attempting to not lose Cherry as well. "STAY BACK!! DON’T GET ANY CLOSER, HUMAN!!! STAY BACK. SOLDIERS, PROTECT THE BLOOD MUTANT!!" Lord Grania’s pleas of concern to the Blood Mutant came too soon, too late. By the time he uttered the last word, Cherry was already halfway up, ready to clash fists with the High Grade. The High Grade Ethisian grinned with a lustful greed glinting in her narrow eyes. As she got closer to Cherry, her body started to pulsate with Eneraflux energy ready to override Cherry’s own. "You share a similarity with the other Blood Mutant!!" she greeted Cherry while the two bashed their bodies into each other’s. Cherry wrapped her tendrils around Ely and began to pierce into her skin, waiting to drain all the blood from her. "He’s my brother!!" she answered while burrowing her claws into the High Grade’s already battered body. "You must be that Ethisian who suppressed his Blood Energy. Once I kill you, his energy will return and he’ll turn you into one of his blood soldier clones...." "...Hard for someone to do that when they’re dead, right?" Ely interrupted as she wore an evil grin. She cackled as a defeated look wrote itself on Cherry’s face. At that moment, Ely felt she won and nothing was going to stop her from killing Cherry as well. "LET GO OF HER, HUMAN!!" Lord Grania shouted as he fell on both of them but Ely looked up, her body already releasing her energy as she winked saying; "Too late. You should have shouted louder!!"
