[Your body has shut down] "She....she really did it. She...killed him." In horror and disbelief, the Granian Lord and Lord Gravax watched the High Grade release Ace’s body from the clutches of her energy. While draining him of her Eneraflux energy, everyone present could see how lifeless the Blood Mutant’s body became. His once sort of pale, whiteish flesh turned into a desaturated grey. The vibrant orange-red color in his hair and eyes faded away and his toned body became shriveled and dried up. And the High Grade was proud of it. "Oh wow!" She laughed excitedly while dragging Ace’s lifeless body around. "This is truly remarkable. Look at your faces. Look how distraught you all are." With no remorse, the High Grade pierced her claw into Ace’s face, marking his neck and forehead. His blood dripped slowly from his body, too slow for a human. Even though he had just died, there couldn’t have been enough time for the blood in his body to start to coagulate that quickly. It just wasn’t possible. "Thank you for making all of this simple for me," Ely shrieked and sighed in joy and relief while finally dropping Ace’s bloodied body on the ground, "now that I’ve killed your strongest...I’ll try my luck on the next one." Without haste, the High Grade left the scene as fast as she could on foot, hoping to get to Cherry. While Lord Grania chased after her in hopes of saving the second-strongest Blood Mutant, Lord Gravax remained behind and inspected Ace’s body. He still couldn’t believe that Ace was dead. It couldn’t be. Right? "No, it can’t be," he argued, complained, and denied the entire thing but the evidence was as clear as daylight, "we can’t have lost one of our greatest assets. Not this early in the War, not now. "Come on. There has to be a way we can revive you. There has to!!" Not losing hope yet, the Granian lifted Ace’s body and went in the same direction the High Grade and Lord Grania were headed. However, he wasn’t going after them. His goal was to find a way of scientifically reviving Ace’s body. With all the little strength he had, Gravax placed Ace on his back, abandoned the unconscious Granian pilot, and began to run. Despite his exhaustion and his distraught countenance, he felt as though he needed to bring Ace back. After all, it was his fault for bringing him close to the High Grade in the first place. If Lord Grania didn’t have to chase after Ely, Gravax was almost certain that he would die by Grania’s hand. "I’ll revive him," he kept speaking to himself, forcing his mind to forget the fact that the Blood Mutant was gone, "I’ll revive him, I’ll revive him, I’ll revive him. And once I’ll do, I’ll watch him kill that damned Ethisian that did this to him. I have to hurry...or else the others might go too." Just a few hundred thousand kilometers above the battleground, the Granian, Cyclitharan, Ethisian, YYrejite, Haisojian, and Soxan ships engaged in a furious battle with each other. At the start of the battle, it seemed as though the Granians and Cyclitharans were on the losing end. Since most of their ships were better suited for travel than for Space War, they were at a disadvantage with the Ethisian, YYrejites, Haisojan, and Soxan ships that came ready for battle, regardless of them having to fight either on the ground, in the air, or in space. However, as the battle got to its climax, the tides began to switch in favor of the Granians. No, they weren’t winning the battle but they did manage to break through the enemy lines, allowing them to make it to the nearby planets. In great numbers, the Granian ships entered the planets where they began to disperse and selectively choose positions best suited for them to change the battle in their favor. The Ethisians had expected this from the Granians because it wasn’t the first time they pulled something off. It was also one of the reasons the Ethisians didn’t want them, the Granians, to take the battle to the ground. If they did so, there was a possibility of either a ceasefire being called for or an inevitable defeat for them. Because of this strategic repositioning, the Ethisians and their allies had no choice but to back away. But they weren’t going to retreat. Instead of returning to Planet Edenia, the Ethisians chose to reside in wait in the surrounding Colonial Planets, waiting for the Granians to try to escape. This was going to give them more than enough time to gather themselves properly and prepare for the Granian’s arrival. Of course, with their tails tucked between their legs, the Granians weren’t about to give up just yet. Instead of taking this short time to retreat and lick their wounds, they opted to fall back into the offensive as quickly as possible, none ready to give the Ethisians a chance to attack. Besides, there was one more sleeve they had over the Ethisians and that was the availability of a second and third fleet. Thankfully, they weren’t discovered yet meaning that the two extra fleets had either managed to discreetly overwhelm their foes or were yet to do so. Either way, their availability was going to play a huge role in their soon-to-come victory. However, before any of that could happen, they still had one thorn in their sole to take care of and that was the High-Grade Elyssara who had gotten herself trapped in a Granian-infested planet for the sole purpose of ending the Blood Mutants. She had already killed one successfully and was on her way to kill the next, and the next...that was if they were on the planet. At last, she arrived and thankfully, her people were still fighting bravely even though they were now becoming outmatched and outnumbered. With the rest of the Granian fleets taking cover on the same planet she was on, she knew that her window of opportunity was closing in and therefore, she had to act quickly. "I appreciate you chasing after me," she spoke to Grania who was a few meters away from catching her, "but let’s face it. You can’t stop me, not now anyway. Oh, and would you look at that..." She smiled as her next target fell on her sights. "...my next target is waiting for me. Try and stop me, Grania."
