At this moment, Fang Che was hiding in a small cave, having just claimed three more victims. Forging alliances with others was not an option for Fang Che, given that he was currently public enemy number one. This was a curved cave that was only around ten feet in length, and around the corner up ahead was another exit, so the cave was essentially shaped like a bent cylindrical tube. The small size of the cave immediately planted an idea into his mind, and he rushed out into the open as he yelled, "Where's all the cowardly trash? A bunch of you were making threats at me outside, but none of you dare to come after me now!" His voice was like rumbling thunder, audible across long distances in all directions. "Let's go fuck him up! I never wanna hear his voice again!" Everyone in the nearby vicinity instantly converged like moths to a flame. Standing atop a tree, Fang Che feigned a panicked expression as he exclaimed, "Hey, why are there so many of you? Come fight me one on one! Have you no shame?" Within mere seconds, there were already over ten people racing toward him from all directions. Fang Che immediately jumped down from the tree before fleeing the scene, with all of his pursuers hot on his trail. "Get him! He's over there!" Fang Che darted straight into the cave, and his pursuers arrived just in time to see him vanish into its entrance. "The bastard's hiding in that cave! Some of us need to go around to see if there's another exit on the other side!" Meanwhile, Fang Che had already snapped off roughly a fifth of a stick of Soul Devouring Incense, and he crushed it into powder before igniting it, immediately following which he rushed out from the other exit of the cave. He had only just emerged from the cave when several hidden weapons flew in after him, and several of his pursuers were also closing in with fierce killing intent. Fang Che thrust his palm forward from the other end of the cave, conjuring up a gust of wind that blew the colorless Soul Devouring Incense smoke directly toward his assailants. The five Generals had only just arrived at the entrance of the cave when they felt a gust of wind blowing toward them, and they slumped feebly to the ground before they had a chance to get away. Fang Che appeared beside them in a wraith-like manner, harvesting their lives in mere seconds. His Five Spirit Parasite claimed the spoils before jumping back onto his head, while he had to ward off a series of attacks from three other assailants before darting away and vanishing into the undergrowth yet again. The three Generals that had just arrived on the scene could feel their own skin crawling at the sight of the five lifeless bodies on the ground. How did he kill them so quickly? We heard them yelling just a second ago, yet they're dead now! More people flew over from afar, and they were just as stunned by the sight of Fang Che's five lifeless victims. "What happened here? Who did this?" "It was the guy that was talking shit to everyone outside!" At this point, Fang Che was already tens of thousands of feet away. He would claim some lives before immediately going elsewhere, never staying in one place for too long. On three occasions, he encountered two groups of four battle against one another, and he rushed in for a sneak attack on two occasions, but immediately fled after claiming only a single life each time. His strategy was to rush into the fray at full speed and lash out indiscriminately at whoever was nearest to him along the way. Even if he didn't manage to kill anyone, he would continue to rush straight through the battlefield and flee the scene without so much as a single backward glance. The Five Spirit Parasites of his victims could only be absorbed by his Five Spirit Parasite, so he didn't have to worry about anyone else reaping the spoils. The Five Spirit Parasite would feast on the Five Spirit Parasites of his victims, then return to him in the blink of an eye as a streak of black light, so Fang Che didn't have to stop to wait for it at all. In this strange space that was filled with black mist, it was impossible to tell night from day, so one could only guess what time of day it was. By Fang Che's estimates, around twelve hours had already passed, which meant that it would already have been the early hours of the morning outside. He had claimed sixteen victims during this time, and his Five Spirit Parasite was overjoyed, but these spoils had not come easily. Even warriors had to rest, but how could he rest in such a perilous environment? He had some time to sit down and meditate here and there, but long stints of rest were out of the question. Fang Che had made some preparations in advance, and Yin Shengong had also given him a bunch of stuff to help him survive, but his chances still weren't looking very optimistic. All of a sudden, he thought of the Golden Horn Flood Dragon and all of the baleful qi that it had been absorbing, and a plan began to take shape in his mind. Fang Che intentionally stumbled out of the undergrowth right into the path of a five-man party, and he immediately feigned a surprised expression before fleeing the scene. The five Generals were overjoyed, and a barrage of hidden weapons were sent hurtling toward Fang Che. Forced to slow down and take evasive measures, Fang Che was unable to get away from his five pursuers, who formed an encirclement around him with sinister grins on their faces. "It's my turn now!" the third member of the party declared. However, the first member of the party raised his hand in a cautionary gesture as he said, "Hold on now, this is not an opponent to be taken lightly. Isn't this the guy that was provoking everyone outside?" Wary looks instantly appeared on the faces of the five Generals upon hearing this. Right at this moment, Fang Che released all of the pent-up baleful qi in his consciousness, and an intense, murderous aura instantly filled the entire space. The five Generals instantly felt as if they had been plunged into the coldest depths of hell, and a sense of inexplicable horror and despair began to sweep over them. What kind of aura is this?! Even our popes don't possess such fearsome baleful qi! Fang Che's baleful qi was so immense that they were barely even able to work up the will to oppose him, and Fang Che pounced on this opportunity, lashing out with his Seven Blood Spirit In the blink of an eye, four of the five Generals were slain. As for the final one, the sight of his slain comrades seemed to have triggered his survival instincts, and he immediately fled the scene, even going as far as to use the Blood Incineration Technique to enhance his own speed! Fang Che was very pleased with his own handiwork. The only drawback was that it would take some time to accumulate this much baleful qi, so he wouldn't be able to replicate this feat for at least a day. His Five Spirit Parasites eagerly pounced on its prey, then returned to the top of Fang Che's head with a content look on its face. This was by far the most blissful period of its entire life. It was being fed spirit qi every single day, and now, it was being presented with the opportunity to devour its own kind! If this were a dream, then it never wanted the dream to end. The sound of rustling leaves rang out up ahead, and Fang Che immediately concealed himself. He could tell from the rate at which the rustling sound was getting closer that whoever was approaching the scene was traveling at an extraordinary speed. If this were their normal speed without using the Blood Incineration Technique, then their cultivation base was definitely superior to his. Before long, the approaching figure came into view, and to Fang Che's surprise, it was none other than the masked woman who had asked for his name outside the entrance of the Parasite Ascension Domain. Judging from the urgency of her demeanor, it seemed that she was being pursued. Fang Che immediately channeled his Cool as Ice mental technique, sitting as still as a statue as he covertly observed the woman from his hiding spot. Upon spotting the four bodies on the ground, the woman immediately swooped down from above before quickly scouring the surrounding area with her spirit sense, then swept both sleeves through the air to send several objects flying in different directions. She then rolled over one of the bodies with her foot before positioning it so that it was leaning against a tree. She thrust a palm into the body's chest to further damage its internal organs, then stuck some type of pill into its mouth, and blood immediately began to trickle out from within. She had set the scene so it appeared as if one of Fang Che's four victims had killed the other three, but he had also sustained severe injuries and was bleeding out while leaning against a tree. After that, the woman planted several small objects beneath the four bodies, then darted straight through the area, leaving a trail of her aura behind, only to instantly circle back from another direction and conceal herself behind a tree directly across from Fang Che. Fang Che couldn't help but be impressed with her quick thinking and resourcefulness. She had immediately devised a trap upon spotting the four bodies. In her mind, whoever had killed these four had clearly already left, which meant that this place was safe for now. Anyone else who stumbled upon this scene would arrive at the same conclusion, so this was the perfect place to be setting a trap. Thanks to his Cool as Ice mental technique, Fang Che was able to avoid detection, but while she was scouring the area with her spirit sense, Fang Che was stunned to discover that her spirit sense was no less powerful than his own. Who exactly is this woman? I was only able to attain this level of spirit sense thanks to a whole host of special circumstances, how is she able to match me in this regard? The two of them waited silently from their respective hiding spots. All of a sudden, it occurred to Fang Che that something wasn't right. Hold on a second, she planted a bunch of things nearby just now, but she wasn't carrying anything with her or on her body when she first arrived. Also, she's holding a sword, but no scabbard. Where's the scabbard? That could only mean one thing. This woman has a spatial ring! Holy shit! Have the heavens sent her down for me to rob her?! Right at this moment, a group of twelve Generals flew onto the scene. Several of them flew past the clearing, only to immediately turn back around. They could see that the person propped up against the tree still had blood flowing out of his mouth, and their eyes instantly lit up. They immediately surrounded him before pelting him with several flying daggers, and the body convulsed violently as more blood came spewing out of its mouth, following which it slowly slumped to the ground. The leader of the twelve-man party was ecstatic. "I knew it! He wasn't dead yet just now! It looks like he must've killed those other three, but he ended up on the verge of death himself! We sure came at just the right time!" "It's my turn now, right?" one of the members of the twelve-man party asked.
