"Are you sure you have everything on your case?" Sheva’s mother asked in a distressed mood, starting to nag Sheva once again before the boy could leave his home. "Emergency aid? Clothes for a full week? Money? Passport? Wait, you haven’t put your jacket on your visa yet! Wait a second!" Seeing his mother rushing toward the wardrobe to take his jacket, Sheva couldn’t help but sigh helplessly. "Mom, I wouldn’t need a jacket in Biel! It is July already, Mom! You know that it is summer in Europe, and I am not going to Reykjavik again! Compared to Iceland, Switzerland’s temperature is friendlier for us Asian People!" Tʜe source of this ᴄontent ɪs 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝⁂𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖⁂𝕟𝕖𝕥 "Is that so..." His mother pondered the new information she received from her boy, still clearly feeling skeptical about it. "Anyway, who is the adult who will go with you guys? There is no way Anna’s father would let her go alone with a boy to Europe, right?" She narrowed her eyes dangerously. Even though his mom trusted Sheva not to do anything stupid with Anna, it was always better to have a responsible adult keeping an eye on two reckless teenagers like them. "Y—Yeah, there is an adult! Don’t worry about it, Mom. Sister Medina is with us." Sheva could feel a cold sweat rolling on his forehead. The scrutiny from his mom was enough to stop the blood from running through his face. "Oh, it is Medina?" His mother raised one of his eyebrows slightly. "I would prefer Irene since she has already taken care of you in Reykjavik, but Medina should also be a person who goes abroad pretty often, right? Also, she is a more religious person and has a strict standard about how opposite genders should behave, so maybe this is the best choice." She pondered the pros of having Medina as a responsible adult here. Sheva had a sweat drop on his face, somehow feeling resentful that his mother would think that he would do something bad to Anna. Still, the presence of Medina in the group really caught Sheva off guard. Hell, he only got the news two nights before they would go, as this decision was indeed a little bit sudden. However, after communicating with Medina via phone call, the boy finally understood why this could happen. After her failure to win the ladies’ internal tournament a few weeks ago, Medina still regretted that she couldn’t go to Biel with the others. Although she had been in a lot of high-level tournaments and didn’t have that much desire to play in one particular tournament , the woman was hooked when she heard Sheva would go there. The competitive spirit inside her that seemed to be dimming a little bit sparked up immediately after her defeat against Sheva. The desire to improve and climb up into a higher level burned inside her, and she kept thinking about the Biel Tournament for a few weeks. In the end, she pulled some strings, calling out a few people who helped her go abroad independently in the past, and after a tough negotiation, the woman finally got her own sponsorship to be there too. "So, where would they arrive? They would pick you up, right?" Sheva’s mom suddenly asked a question, snapping the boy from his thoughts. "Well, it should be twenty minutes from now," Sheva said, checking the time on his phone. "Also, Bagas will be there too, so you don’t need to worry about me, Mom." He added quickly. "Bagas would be there too?" His mom widened her eyes in surprise. However, the relieved sigh following that reaction told Sheva about her feelings. "Good. At least, there will be another responsible person to take care of you." Sheva could only smile wryly when he heard that. The boy didn’t know what kind of magic Bagas used to charm his mother and make her think that he was a responsible guy, when in reality, the fat boy was the exact opposite. Still, it was nice to have Bagas in this journey, even though Sheva was a little bit surprised. He knew that in the past, his best friend spoke about his desire to document Sheva’s journey to become the best player in the world. At first, Sheva thought that it was just banter, or a mere promise made nonchalantly between two best friends. However, it seemed that Bagas was serious in fulfilling that promise, as he even used his own money to fund this trip for himself. ’Man, I don’t know if he really thinks of me that highly or if it is because he has nothing better to do, but nevertheless, without him behind me, I would never be able to be in this situation right now.’ Yeah, even though Bagas didn’t appear in front of the screen that much, his presence was really crucial for Sheva’s career. The boy was the one who took care of almost everything from their accommodation to Sheva’s registration, making sure that Sheva only needed to focus on the tournament. Bagas acted like an agent for a football player here. That, or a personal assistant for a rich person. Fortunately, Bagas was pretty nonchalant and didn’t think too much about this, even volunteering for the job of taking care of Anna and Claudia’s careers as well. It seemed that he found pleasure in witnessing the birth of the legendary players with his own camera, and the boy didn’t want to miss even a single event in their journeys. Suddenly, Sheva heard his phone ring, and when he checked it, the boy saw a message coming from Bagas. Its content told Sheva that everyone was waiting for him outside of the alley, as the car couldn’t even enter there and parked directly in front of Sheva’s house. Seeing this, Sheva rose from the spot and said to his mom, "They are out of the alley, Mom." "Really? This fast?" It seemed that his mother was a little bit reluctant to let him go. "Oh, well, please, say hello for me to the others, okay? Follow Bagas and Medina’s words, and don’t wander alone at night. Also, take care of Anna; she is a good girl. Don’t do anything stupid, okay?" As his mother did the last check on him, a melancholic smile formed on her face, then the woman rubbed her son’s hair affectionately. "Just go out there and don’t worry about anything else. Don’t forget to enjoy your trip and have fun, okay?!"
